Praise The Lord and Pass The Ammunition

No rush.

The Telegraph- Britain runs low on ammo as Ukraine bombards Kremlin forces

Ukraine, then, still has a great need for ammunition. It is burning through thousands of rounds and rockets each day, but Britain’s arms industry is yet to get the orders it needs to increase production and deliver on Truss’s pledge.

Much of the UK’s ammunition stockpile is built by BAE Systems, Britain’s largest defence contractor. A deal to expand production is expected but it has not yet been signed.

This is how the west fights its enemies.

  1. Expect Justin to announce that Canada will step in and provide more ammunition to Ukraine.

And he’ll send a few rounds of ammunition taken in police seizures from law abiding citizens. Doesn’t matter if it is the wrong type of ammo, its the media announcement that matters. This so he and Freeland can stand up in Parliament and say Canada is being very helpful.

    1. Most of the ammunition confiscated from High River wasn’t returned, as it was harder to determine ownership rather than the guns, which at least had serial numbers..

  2. NATO has caused the unnecessary deaths of tens of thousands of Ukrainians by insisting and assisting they remain in a war that would, by all rights, have a) never occured and b) been over very quickly.

      1. Not true. The nationalists have been trying to purge the donbass of the ethnic Russians for a long time. Especially so since 2014.

        1. Ukrainians have every right to purge Donbas from the enemy fifth column. Of course that purge is a lie, it never happened. But even if it was not, after repeated refused attempts to invite the remnants of enemy occupation to join Ukraine, Ukrainians had every right to send them packing.

          1. So, every argument advanced by each side is never going to be anything more than someone’s propaganda point? Or do you mean that what YOU say is fact, and whatever anyone else says is propaganda?

It’s another one of those blusters yelled out by people who can’t answer questions, in my experience. You just do your own side an injustice by being so lame.

          2. “So, every argument advanced by each side is never going to be anything more than someone’s propaganda point? Or do you mean that what YOU say is fact, and whatever anyone else says is propaganda?”

LOL, bobby b, you certainly nailed their schtick, alright.

      2. If Putin hadn’t invaded none of the people killed I the invasion would have died.

Putin didn’t need to invade to stop the fighting in Donbas. He could have asked for sanctions against Ukraine.

Further, he could have shut off oil and natural gas to Europe to encourage the Europeans to take action.

        This one’s on Putin.

      3. If Ukraine had not spent 8 years shelling the civilians of Donbass, and had implemented the Minsk accords that IT requested, none of this would have happened.

Loads of blame to go around.

    1. Because Ukrainians have no agency or right to their own country. Because they should just accept to live under Kremlins jackboot?

      1. If you are going to spend 8 years shelling a linguistic minority in your country, and then plan to ethnically cleanse or genocide them out of existence (BTW chasing them across the border into Russia IS the very definition of ethnic cleansing) then, respectfully, you get what you get, and I fail to see why any of this is my problem.

But the good news (for the Kremlin) is, in 20 years, when the Russians retake the Baltic border lands, the Russian Army will be relying heavily on Ukrainian volunteers. Just like the Chechens.

It’s a grand ole part of the world, and it ain’t the West.

        1. ^^^^^
First paragraph is straight up lies.
Second, paragraph is delusions mixed with lies.

Those Siberian Mongols that refuse to assimilate to civilized culture are nothing but remnants of occupation and need to be sent back to russia where they belong.
Also, what I said few posts below about freshly reprogramed Kremlin bots below applies perfectly to you Konni.

          1. Oh, right, I forgot, Ukraine implemented the Minsk 2.0 Accord. Which they signed. I keep forgetting of course that your are 100% correct, that 14,000 people in the Donbass blew themselves up on the way to and from work and schools, carrying mortar shells in their handbags.

          2. Russians killed most people in Donbas, Ukrainians were very careful not to target civilians, only collaborators.

“You failed to show me why I should give a rat’s ass about Ukraine. What’s in it for me and mine?”

Clearly given how engaged you are, you must care. What’s in it for you? I don’t know. Vodka? Potatoes? Ukrainian women/men/children/livestock to torture or rape? How should I know the details of your contact?

Either way, the remnants of russian occupation have no place in Ukraine or anywhere else that is free of russia.

        2. “Just like the Chechens.”

About that, TikTok brigades as the Kadirovits are known, are utterly useless as soldiers. They mostly run from the fight or rape and pillage in rear areas. In many instances their cowardice combined with sociopathic behavior put them in crosshairs of even russian regulars, who despite their well earned bestial credentials couldn’t take what Kadirovits were doing (ex gutting pregnant women in Mariupol). You really need to be a butcher if even Siberian Mongols (other than Wagners) turn away in disgust.

Meanwhile, real Chechens are fighting FOR Ukraine and are well regarded as fighters. There are at least two full battalion of Chechens plus several smaller units in the Foreign Legion. They are getting plenty of payback for what Siberians did to their families. TikTok brigade fears them more than anyone else.

          1. I really think at some point you may want to read up on the history of the Spanish Civil War. You will find it quite illuminating.

You will also do well to study the fortunes of South Vietnam. I can’t help with slavering Banderite Sieg-Heilism with any of these though. But the reading will help some of what you are going through. I wish you well in your personal issues.

      1. No, we are just going to collapse the Canadian, Western European and Japanese economies as well as the non-ruble bond market instead. That’ll show Putin!

  3. “NATO agression is to blame” is an echo of the same type of hollow arguments Adolf used back in the late thirties . Sometimes the bear is just a rotten SOB who charges without being poked.

    1. Volunteer your house to be nuked first. It’s not 1939 anymore, in case you haven’t noticed.

        1. Maybe to a fossil who’s about to turn to dust. Time to change your Depends.

And since you’re not long for this world, like I said, volunteer to be nuked first.

      1. Argument is flawed.

“Military aggression must not be protested against because threat of military aggression is real.”

        Not actually how it works.

    2. The war is for leverage over China. If Putin is truly tottering, watch for the WEF replacement.

  4. They’re actuality sending taxpayer money boomerangs. The taxpayer money leaves the country but quickly returns from the pockets of the mindless masses to the ones who virtue signalled to send it. Audit the trail and demand definitive proof.

  5. Wow, just yesterday I have been listening to an extensive analysis predicting that Siberian (im)mobolozation will coincide with massive reactivation of Kremlin trolls and bots. Right on cue, usual suspects switched to ON and marching orders uploaded.

    1. Says the WEF Globohomo bot faithfully parroting all the talking points straight from the DC swamp and Davos. You’re real convincing. Give it up, loser.

“Mommy! Mommy! It’s a comment from a fringe minority with unacceptable views! I demand a book burning!”

Who is the thought/control leftist in this scenario? By the way, why don’t you tell us exactly where you get all your “information” leftist propaganda aggregates or directly from CNN?

        1. Is that what they say over at CNN? I wouldn’t know. But tell us, how many hours each day you spend there gathering your news propaganda, 8? 10?

“Mommy! Oh mommy! Unacceptable view! Toss the comment into the book burning pile!”

  6. Libya. Remember when the French, Italians and the British started a war on Libya about ten years ago? Something about Human Rights? And definitely not about new oil contracts for their European Oil Companies. No, not that.

They ran out of smart bombs in about three days. If it was not for Obama getting the US involved, the war would have been a worse failure than the 1956 Suez Crisis.

Only the smartest, most enlightened politicians can be that stupid.

  7. How did that work out for the Libyans?

I heard the Libyans have a new growing industry. Auctioning of Black African People just like they did 3 Centuries ago.

How is the Libyan oil and gas industry doing? How much business are Shell, Elf, Total and all the other EUROPEAN oil companies doing in Libya? Europe could probably use a Libyan Natural Gas Pipeline about now? Even better? How about an Israeli-Cyprus-Europe gas pipeline. Like the one F. Joe Biden scuttled last year? Would those Holier than thou Europeans deign to use that filthy Joo Natural Gas?

Speaking of F. Joe Biden? How many pipelines did he stop? Keystone XL? The Israeli-Cyprus-Europe Pipeline?
You know one pipeline Tapioca Brained Joe did not stop? F. Joe removed all the Trump Administration Sanctions on the Nordstream 2 Russia-Germany pipeline, and allowed Russia to finish the pipeline.

I repeat myself. Only the smartest, most enlightened politicians can be that stupid.

    1. Thank rd

It took a black socialist POS to Bring slavery bk to Africa…it’s in their genes, just look bk a century n a bit.

  8. Tried to reply…

    It just disappeared…

    Many have complained…

    It’s the web tool program…

But the web tool program is censoring us???

  9. “This is how the west fights its enemies.”

It’s also how the west orders its energy.

  10. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
Failing to resist tyranny is one.
Failing to prepare for inevitable conflict because doing so takes funds away from luxury expenditure, is another.
Telling yourself the lie that appeasement works, is yet another.

  11. The day a country starts providing munitions would be the day to start war footing production. Not only does Ukraine need a shit load but the increase in international volatility means war stocks should be strengthened. I guess the idiots are still in charge. If they don’t use it they can spend the next 20 years training the most experienced peace time artillerymen ever. It’s never a waste.

    1. Meanwhile is Xi waiting for the US to deplete its arsenal before attacking Taiwan?

The attack might start with a naval blockade of Taiwan.

      1. Taiwan? Is there any reason for China not to annex Asiatic Russia after all their equipment and ability to wage war is destroyed? Russia and the Central Asian Stans would provide the real estate China has been lacking and most of the people look Chinese and being kin of the Uighurs would provide oodles of slave labour.

        1. The problem for China is that such a move starts nuclear Armageddon. Now China is massively densely populated and urbanised. They have creaking power and food transportation infrastructure in many areas. And their middle class does not grow much of their own food.

Russia is the opposite. Sparsely populated, so your nukes will hit masses if Chinese, and hardly any of your own people. Heck, nuking the Three Gorges would put China back into darkness. Most Russians in the middle class have a dacha (they have since Stalin’s days). And they have frequent nuckear evac drills. Who is more serious about surviving nuclear war?

Chinese invasion of Russia? Won’t happen without Russian agreement.

          1. “Most Russians in the middle class have a dacha (they have since Stalin’s days). ”

ROFLMAO. A quarter of russian households have no indoor plumbing never mind a dacha.

          2. Meanwhile back in the real world:
63% of Chicoms live in urban areas and 75% of russians live in urban areas. So your argument above is predictably a lie.

          3. I will type again, slowly, since I know you don’t read fast:

The lack of indoor plumbing you speak of IS the dacha culture, you dimwit. A dacha – for about half the dacha inventory, is, literally, a cabin and a large plot of land. With decent soil. China is polluted as all heck.

Russia’s middle class is a decent size. Decent enough to keep the lights on. China’s percentage of population that is urbanised is irrelevant. When it comes to nuclear war, it is population density and robustness of infrastructure you depend on. The Chinese are NOT a hardy, rugged, bush-comfortable people in the same way.

Russia’s urban percentage is irrelevant, IF they are in well-stocked fallout shelters, and/or can head to the dacha beforehand (even better).

Sorry, China loses a nuke war – way too much population density and lack of basic resources. Which is the vwry reason you claim they will invade Siberia in the first place.

Now how much are the CIA/ISW buffoons paying you?

          4. Good give me strength. Dachas are secondary residences for the well off. A tiny majority or Siberians have dachas. Most live is squalor and poverty. Anywhere outside of Moscow and St Petersburg poverty is a norm. The reason russians so often do not have indoor plumbing is because they are dirt poor, nothing to do with dachas, with the alleged “dacha culture”, but yes with culture, culture of mental slavery.

A much larger proportion of Chinese can live off land than russians. A nuclear strike of the same size targeting urban centers would thus be proportionally more dangerous for russia. Either way, both would be ruined to sub-Saharan levels.

Russia would win a nuclear exchange only in the sense that they have a lot more nukes so they could completely annihilate Chicoms while Chicoms could at best send russia back its natural state of nomadic stone age.

  12. The “west” waits for the USA to pay the bills and provide the stuff. Then “the west” mocks the USA for not having a national health care system like they do, and once in a while, piously rants about how the USA is bent on wars.

Look, I’d love for the USA to sit this one — and every other one — out. But we’re sending $$$$billion$$$$ each day to this thing. And I’d bet US special forces are there already. Can’t, say, Canada take the lead, at least once?

    signed, a Yank

    1. “Can’t, say, Canada take the lead, at least once?”-what a wicked sense of humour you have geek.

Last I checked most of our special forces were deployed to protect turdeau, he cannot appear in public anymore without a multitude of protectors. our army, navy and air force can barely deploy most of their equipment is unusable.

      We are a turd-world nation.

      1. “We are a turd-world nation.”

You still have Moosehead. So, you can still come back from the edge.

  13. The way Biden and Trudeau and NATO are pushing the UK could be NUKED soon anyway, Biden is desperate to cover up his and Obama’s crimes and money laundering going back to the Obama coup in 2014.

Imagine incinerating a couple of a hundred million people over a shit hole like Ukraine.

    1. You do realize that UK has subs armed with ICBMs, and that the moment UK gets nuked those subs have enough payload to annihilate a sizable part of russia, including multiple largest population centers?

      1. But only if the limp wristed lisping Globohomos on board can find the correct toilet after they shit their pants first.

  14. Good to see a lot of people completely failing to understand the implications of this.

This TOTALLY screws over the claims that the Industrial Military Complex was popping bottles of the good stuff the day Russia began their ‘Special Military Whatever’ back all those months ago. The claims then was that Industry were gleefully high-fiving each other and ordering new sports cars.

    Nope.

Governments provided EXISTING stocks to Ukraine. These items clearly had worth, but no money was spent.

As comparison, let us say that you gave me your car. Reasons. The car was fully paid off so apart from the fuel to drive it to my play and maybe some admin fees the cost to you was basically nothing. However you now own one less car, so have less wealth.

The problem now is you realise you need that extra car that you no longer own. Hence you decide to buy one new and are hence giving money to the car makers.

So now the car maker finally sees an increased sale. Now. Not back earlier when you gave the car keys to me. And they only see a sale because you have decided that yes, you do need that extra vehicle.

This is how the support for the Ukraine War… Special Military Action/Glorious Liberation of the Oppressed by the Kind Forces of PutinLand… whatever, has played out. The various nations have given things they already own and believe they can do without to Ukraine. Industry did not make them especially for the Ukraine. They had already been paid for an delivered.

(side note – the big bucks in the Industrial Military Complex for Industry is often not the production, but the Through Life Support. In car terms think of it as the extended warranty you pay for with the condition that you use an approved service centre. So if the government gives the vehicles you are servicing away there may be contracts that are no longer valid and Industry may have actually lost money. May.)

So, what we are seeing now is the Governments (aka – The Customer) is now realising they have given away all their toys and now needs some new ones or the Military (aka – The End User) will have only sharp sticks and harsh language. They are now force to either actually spend money (and so thrive the armourers) or tell the End Users that they have to cut down on live fire exercises and other training until their stocks grow back as part of the pre-existing budgets.

Or maybe just state that they already have enough F15s and Nukes so all those tanks, trucks and transports can go rust. Nuclear F15s for the WIN!!!

Summary – the Armourers will ONLY thrive out of the Ukraine conflict IS the Governments now decide to replace all the equipment they have previously gifted. All Industry have gotten out of the events so far has largely been real world raw data on how their systems perform in actual combat. Sales only kick in when the sales actually kick in.

  15. Everyone condemns Neville Chamberlain for his agreement with Hitler and his “peace in our time” speech, but the reality was that Britain was woefully underprepared for war with Germany. We may never know Chamberlain’s true thoughts and knowledge when he signed that pact and made that speech but – give him credit – he returned to England and immediately began revving up defense production and other measures to prepare for a war he (as most Brits did after the carnage of WW I) prayed would never happen but rather thought it could.

  16. I am surprised there is so little mention of the large expenditure rates of ammunition, particularly smart ammunitions that this little regional war is costing. Almost every NATO country has strict limits on ammunition expenditure, purchase and use in any given year and the stock piles of sophisticated weapons’ like anti tank missiles and smart munitions for artillery and drones is very limited. I am not surprised that having given away most of it to the Ukrainians, that inventories are running low. Canada must be suffering. Most units cannot get sufficient ammunition to complete an annual training cycle, and advanced courses often restrict the firing of live anti tank missile to only the top candidates. And now wonder-boy-in-sox has given away the reserves. If Russia invaded the north we be left throwing rocks assuming we could even deploy there. Have to reconfigure the VIP plane to carry troops and his-awesomeness would not like that.

    1. The Turd could just take it out of the GG’s meal plans and make a dent or forgo future cottage reno’s.

      bverwey

  17. Wow. So many tough guys. And so many experts. I just can’t figure our why this Country is in such sad shape.

    1. “Tough guys”? The keyboard warriors calling for arms shipments to the Ukraine while the Ukraine has closed its borders to combat age males exiting and is rounding them up to send to the meat grinder? E.g., the 3000 killed in the Kherson offensive alone which according to the SDA resident expert was a mere “head fake” to fool the Russians. Their blood is on the hands of those wanting their governments to fuel the killing.
