And hit with the ugly stick. The primary constituency of the left are disaffected former HS students who were social outcasts. Because they were fat, ugly, and socially repugnant. And rather than improve their image, and strengthen their personality … they slouched into the “goth” and other assorted nihilist genres of anti-social groups. It was much easier for them to give-up than to compete with the pretty people.

Problem is … our culture is now PROMOTING these LOSERS into sacred status.

Imagine a cave man clan decided to appoint the WORST, most incompetent Hunter among them to be their Chief Hunter? They’d all starve to death … or eat twigs and berries, never accessing the animal fats necessary for brain growth. We’d all still be living in caves … in the dirt. But that’s what we are doing at ALL our government Departments and Agencies … we are hiring slackers and losers to positions of supreme importance. And look around … these social outcasts are destroying everything built by former meritocratic generations.

Time to get the “normals” back into control … and esp. back into our classrooms.

They are fat and ugly because I am old.
I know this because when I was young and first involved with the Conservative Party, all the attractive young girls were Liberal.
As nice as the little old ladies running the Conservative Party were, as anti-Liberal as I was and still am, I must admit to a little inter party fraternization.
Now I am old and all the attractive women are on the right side.

That’s not body armor … it’s ceramic tile fashion! Similar to shoulder pads in the 1980’s … 😉

Body armor is regulated at the provincial level. For example B.C. allows F.A.C. holders to own body armor, but Manitoba does not. A precursor to what is about to happen when the Feds start allowing local governments to regulate firearm ownership.

And it isn’t too difficult to find videos on home-made body armor. For example mild steel with glue-on horse blanket backing.

People who cannot or do not accomplish anything tend to end up as socialists. That way, they can blame their failures and inadequacies on others, rather than taking individual responsibility. (See the VDH article on “Wokism” from today’s Turtle Island post.)
An overwhelming percentage of educators are in this category. As most of us know, pretty much anybody can obtain an education degree if they can regurgitate the jargon of the moment. They can then feel superior because they have “a degree” while not actually doing much work to get a STEM degree. Many actually think they had to work hard, and many teachers still think they work hard compared to people with Real Jobs.
Caveat – I have an education degree, and taught for 26 years. These observations are not from a distance:
My profs were the worst teachers I ever had. (If knowing this stuff makes me a better teacher, why are you such an abysmal one?)
My classmates were generally unable to think or reason on their own, or even work hard. Their obvious goal was to make people who were failing through lack of effort feel better about themselves. Basically, they were following the Golden Rule; Do Unto Others, but in a selfish, harmful way. They wanted others to coddle them through their self-induced failures, and so that is how they planned to treat their students. They did not care about the students, it was all about making themselves look like the all-caring Messiah.
The observations others have made are correct – so many people with no work ethic or skills go into education and embrace socialism. Socialism helps them feel good about themselves by blaming others for their own failures, and Education gives them the opportunity to promulgate their misguided world view, giving them even more emotional validation as they destroy the next generation.
Chinese proverb – “Prepare the Child for the Road – not the Road for the Child.”
But that would be work….
Like exercise and diet restraint might make them less ugly. But for them, easier to lie to themselves in order to feel good about being ugly than to put the work into at least looking healthy. I guess that kind of sums up a Socialist Society, eh?
