  2. In Canada we’ve come to understand that parliament doesn’t need to sit nearly as often as it has in the past. They’ve proven that those endless days of posturing and bickering produce nothing.

    Maybe sessions of 30 days a year is more than sufficient. It’s good for MP’s to spend time at home and hear from their constituents instead of sitting in Ottawa passing laws nobody needs.

    The problem with governing in Canada is that a majority government can do whatever it bloddy well wants. No checks and balances.

    1. Apparently so can a minority government when its propped up by an immoral Khalistan piece of shit and his New Democratic Pox.

  3. The purpose of all laws is to whittle away at the few remaining rights and freedoms of the people. All the while making life more complex and Byzantine – requiring expensive experts, lawyers, and accountants to translate legalese into the common language.

    Reducing us to serfs little by little.

  4. Government is NOT your friend no matter what your political outlook or who is voted into office. If the law as it was 50 years ago was enforced we would be fine. Government is motivated to grow and power accrues to the bureaucracy until it is removed.

  7. As always,there comes a point where all regulation and rules fail.
    Once the complexity of laws exceeds the understanding and common sense of the citizen.
    Once you realize you are guilty no matter what.
    And when you experience selective enforcement.
    Compliance vanishes.
    The 10 commandments was about the limit of human memory.
    So today where we have rules and regulations that overwhelm our ability to know them and reason cannot save you,we have become a lawless society.
    The fitting punishment,Retribution,for the people who did this to us and who continue to plague us,is death by regulation.
    Place them in a box and start stacking those rules and regulation on top..
    That cute little detail,the “Consent to be governed” is forgotten.
    Fools and Bandits believe they rule.
    Human Nature has not changed a bit.
    Eventually these prats all take a fall.
    When their numbers exceed sanity,the splatter hits us all.
