4. Looks like my PG&E bill. And the same one all my Tesla-driving neighbors who claim they are driving for FREE during the artificial Joe Bidinh spike in gasoline prices. Yeah … they’re getting REAMED … just like The Germans.

5. So as I’m reading and guessing the units, the rate is up to 306 Euros per mwh or 0.306 Euros per KWH?

      At the power station’s substation. There are add-ons before you get to charge your EV. I never hear about retailers’ operating margin. Selling petrol [gas] is efficient and you are only using space on the forecourt for a few minutes. That, like all retail space, is “leased” at a sq ft/mth basis and the charge point is high maintenance compared to bowers which “never” need maintenance. Gilbarco warranted their bowsers for life so Mobil (Aust) repackaged their old pumps rather than buy new with the pounds to dollars conversion.

8. The lockdowns were meant to get everyone used to imposed limits on travel. Get you used to staying home a lot.

   The new gas prices are meant to further cement that in people’s minds.

   The rich who can afford EVs will be fine paying extra for electricity to charge them.

   Travel is going to be reserved for the elite in Canada. The rest of us will be expected to stay home, get fed only government approved media, any objections in social media will be dealt with accordingly.

   Now be a good little citizen and smoke your weed…. that was the most important issue, the reason we were blessed with another Trudeau after all.

9. Meanwhile the woke segment controlling the Society of Petroleum Engineers continue their unfathomable unwavering support of Net Zero by 2050 (or faster!). I understand the need to attract the young into organizations but aren’t Petroleum Engineers supposed to care most about supplying enough petroleum? Their priorities have definitely become lost in the progressive maze. Smh.

10. I drive an older Toyota 4 cyl that easily gets 32MPG on the highway. It’ll still be running 30 years from now, and the greenies can suck it’s tailpipe anytime they please.
