You know where else there is a lot of coal? Wyoming. It is very high grade coal. Goes mostly to China. Why? Because no one else needs it. Supposedly.
They have been struggling for years to get enough trains to haul it to the coast for export and we can thank Warren Buffet for that. It will still be there when someone who doesn’t hate us decides to let us use it.
That’s terrible. The climate is weeping today. Maybe Canada can make up for Europe’s increased emissions by cutting ours further. That will signal to the world that Canada really is a leader, a world class country worthy of international praise and adoration. It could be our best virtue signal yet. I don’t know what Trudeau is waiting for.
