“CEO”
General Motors CEO virtue signaling how “clean” the new Chevy Volt is.
Then a reporter asks where the charging electricity comes from.
Oh my…. Wait for it.
Awkward. pic.twitter.com/wcMNhHVSK9

(Yes, it’s old, but it’s worth the reminder).
My car runs on static electricity.
Yes, but all that head rubbing will result in premature “Kojakulation”
means nothing to the younger crowd
lmao!!! ^^^
That moment where someone gets a glimpse of reality and quickly turns their head to look away, as it might not fit the narrative!
Typical desk pilot, no clue about things not on her desk!
I had the same conversation with my friend (a global warmist) whose daughter works for BC Hydro and bought a Tesla.
When I asked him where the power comes from he said “well from her building at work”
Now EVERYONE knows electricity comes from the plug in the wall and steak comes from Safeway.
Spot the diversity hire.
Subsidizing electric cars is stealing from the poor and giving to the rich,
Stupid bitch.
I’ll drink to that, after everyone hands over their Lupens.
Some people are fine with that.
So long as as that coal is burning in the poor people’s neighborhood … we EV owners are good with that. Right? There is no global warming if we simply ignore OUR carbon footprint. Right? Hypocrisy = eco-woke.
So fkcu it !! Let’s all listen to one of the greatest forgotten and overlooked guitarists, Paul Kossoff, who died too young at age 25 … https://youtu.be/q13EUUsIsFE?t=106

Coal powered cars! What an idea!
Kristen Zimmerman is not the CEO of GM. She is a “spokesperson”. Judging by her answers she is GM’s version of Kamala Harris.
Left turn signalling.

I sometimes see EVs with a tag in the back that says ” emission free”
it should say” the emissions are in someone else’s back yard” which would be 100% accurate.
Lets review:
Coal burned to make heat to make steam to make electricity, losses at every step.
Electricity run through transmission lines and transformers, more losses.
Electricity run into battery and stored, more losses.
I wonder how much of the actual energy from the coal is used versus lost?
Not even touching that coal is “dirtier” than gasoline. Energy these days is kind of scarce to be used in such an inefficient matter.
Amount of the foregoing understood by rock hard stupid emoting lefties: 0.
Wait! Your analysis requires math … and science … like physics? “Come on ma’aaaan” … Climate “scientists” only got degrees in “Environmental Studies” … a bunch of gobbledygook … they can’t do math … that’s what their computer models do. And don’t you DARE question the results of their models!
Everything old is new again.
So they’re powered by coal, and manufactured by the sweat and tears of poor orphans forced to work in strip mines in 3rd world countries, where pollution and ecological effects don’t matter to the locals.
But they look great as a virtue signal for the leftists in America!
I think I’m going to retrofit by 20 year old van to run on used motor oil and old tires.
“It comes from the building,” is the best part….
