    1. He is what he once called Peter Kent in the House of Commons, and he will always remain one.

  1. “I am entitled to my entitlements” said each and every politician and bureaucrat.

  2. Too bad that the handouts to the Trudeau Licensed Media are State secrets.
How do those Liberal funded media morons live with themselves?
Their whole existence is a lie.

    1. How do those Liberal funded media morons live with themselves?

Quite well, thank you very much.

    2. No wonder that the “journalists” are mental cases.
Lying on daily bases will do that to you.

      Brain will only take
so much lying, knowing itself what the truth is. Just ask Descartes.

    3. CBC gets $1.4 Billion in Liberal baksheesh.

The Liberals also gave $595 million to print media. The Liberals determine who gets and how much.
Of course who and how much is a State secret! Really!!!
      Frikkin hilarious!

The Liberals gave $65 million to various Media just before the last election.

There is now a “Journalist” tax credit.

Someone please post the Rumble video showing the Arrogant Ass laughing at how he owns the Canadian Media.

Canada is no longer a serious country and I truly hope that Liberal voters and the Media pay the price they deserve.

        1. Outstanding .
BlackHeart sure is good at ‘ greasing the wheels a bit ‘ .

  3. What have theCTA done to stop the vacci nation tyrants? I supported for 25 years but I don’t know if I will renew. What difference at this point does the CTA make?

    1. Well, Hillary, it’s simple: they open people’s eyes to the appalling mismanagement of taxpayer funds, and they do it quite well. Would you rather they stopped doing so?

  4. Any responsible homeowner knows how to balance a budget, so why don’t gov’ts of any political stripe? Here, I’ll even make a start for them: an immediate and permanent shutdown of a minimum of 75% of all gov’t services, departments and ministries. No matter WHAT they are, if they aren’t the basics, like a military, or a judicial system, then they must go. Here’s your 2 weeks severance, clean out your desk by noon.
Starve the Uniparty vulture, aka the Canadian gov’t. Only then will we have a chance at survival.

    1. “…so why don’t gov’ts of any political stripe?”

‘Cause they got no skin in the game. They get paid the same whether they do a good job or not, they get a massive, gold-plated pension plan whether they do a good job or not, there’s no consequences for performing poorly, there’s no accountability.

      It’s quite the system.

  5. The Liberals have always wasted money.

How do we get them to stop doing it?

  6. “Con-servative” parties waste money too.
And conservative voters give them a pass.
Mulroney, Manning, Debra Grey….all have great pensions.
And have led us straight to Turdo.

I supported the CTA for 40 years too. But have stopped.

  7. Conservative Party = Washington Generals

    The Fix is always in.

How’s that Canadian Constitution working for ya?

    Nothing but lies,Baby!

  8. Big government doesn’t waste money.
It eats it and shits on the taxpayer for questioning its existence.

  9. Yes Tory’s want social conservatives to shut up …but stay in the tent.
All the while pretending to occupy some virtuous fiscal moral high ground.
Show me one example since Ralph Klein.

  10. Speaking of golden pigs, did anyone else notice the Canadian government is changing the tax code again? Widening the net so-to-speak?

    https://financialpost.com/moneywise-pro/is-it-time-to-refresh-the-alternative-minimum-tax

“The AMT [alternative minimum tax] is currently 15 per cent, but the Canadian government believes it needs an update to capture more Canadians”.

“There are still thousands of wealthy Canadians who pay little to no personal income tax each year,” the Department of Finance said. “That is unfair, and the federal government is committed to changing it,” the ministry added.

“Canada’s existing AMT is very, very, very narrow, and doesn’t really catch many people at all,” says Kevin Milligan, professor of economics at the University of British Columbia. “And so the intent of the new one would be to cast the net more broadly.”

Casting a bigger net to catch more wealthy Canadians, or just more Canadians?

    1. After I inherited my father’s estate, and started earning an income from the investments, I completed my tax return only to be told that I still had to pay more.

The income tax system makes provision for dividends from Canadian stocks in the form of a tax credit. I did exactly what I was supposed to do but I couldn’t get an answer from the CRA. Finally, I pushed hard enough and I was finally given a reason for that. I had overlooked the minimum tax, the form for which isn’t included in the standard package. I was told quite frankly that I wasn’t allowed to have “too good of a year”.

As it turns out, that form is a dad-blasted mess to go through. The document is 8 pages long, of which maybe 2 were directly applicable to me. Still, I had to fill in the blanks for everything from logging tax credits to deductions for making crappy Canadian movies, making ample use of my vocabulary of profanity while doing so.

Yet, the government keeps harping on us that we’re using too much paper…..

  11. Start at the top. We have been conned into a system that favours the election of charming rogues, the types who at one time sold snake oil medicines (ok so nothing has changed). Unfortunately the types who become professional politicians have no real world experience. There is a benefit to them promising more and more – they get elected. If they try to be fiscally responsible, they get ejected. (ie ‘tory times are hard times’ is a description of what happens when adults try to be adult).
If the pension for MPs and senior bureaucrats were changed so that no pension benefits were accrued on years which showed a deficit or raised taxes, then deficits would become a thing of the past.
Time to break the cycle of having incompetents with smiles and pretty hair telling us what to do.
