Because of demographic changes we are in for a long period of crappy economics – 10 to 15 years. I thought it would start in 2023 – 2025 (the peak of the baby boom retirement) but because of the pandemic which led to the supply chain disruption, it looks to have come early. I’m not trying to predict the stock market. But the long term future looks ugly. Higher prices, higher taxes, and stalled economies in North America, China, Japan and Europe. The war in Ukraine isn’t going to help.
