I have not discussed Covid or the vaccine with my sole sibling (brother) but he makes a point of stating his vax status in the occasional email we exchange. Just last week he said, “My wife and I are continuing to be a little cautious and we went for our booster shot yesterday.” I resisted the temptation to respond with, “My wife and I are also continuing to be cautious so we still haven’t gotten jabbed.”
Today, I was dropping off truck parts at a shop and one of the mechanics told me he had been off the previous week due to a positive covid test. He said it felt like a cold and followed it up with, “The vaccine didn’t do shit.”
Fascinating how the vaccinees are the ones encouraging others to get the vaccine but they don’t want you to visit. My kids likely will never see their remaining grand parents again — only because the Grands want to while away their last days being cautious. What a shitty way to die!

It’s very difficult to be compassionate to people who vilified anyone who disagreed with them:

The UK data very clearly showed that the “fully vaccinated” and “fully vaccinated and boosted” were responsible for over 80% of all the Covid deaths since the beginning of the year (Omicron wave). And further, as time progressed, the percentage of deaths in those groups steadily increased to the point where they accounted for 90% in Week 13.
Strangely (wink, wink), Week 13 was the last week for which the UK vaccine surveillance reports provided the data tables for deaths and hospitalizations by age groups and vax status. I guess it was because they might be “misinterpreted”. Yeah, sure.

Out of hospitalisations (1 in 100 of reported active ‘cases’) the numbers were 65% fully jabbed, about 25% unknown and the rest ‘Partly jabbed or not jabbed’ for the rest.
So, since the definition for ‘not jabbed’ works around allowing the jab 30 days (or similar) to start working it is entirely possible that even the ‘not vax’ people had received at least one jab.
So, based on the figures posted for easy public viewing, the percentage of hospital admissions in my home state could have been anything from 65% to 100%
Also, given the entire ‘Anti Vax People want to kill grandma’ paranoia I feel safe in claiming that if the ‘No Jab’ percentage was higher for hospitalisations then our ‘Experts’ would be singing it from the rooftops.

The Covid shots have trained the immune system to react as if the virus was the original pathogen, rather than the current variant, and the variant is not slowed by a wrong-footed immune system (if I understand correctly).
I’m curious why viruses cannot be killed using a resonant frequency….not prevented against….just outright destroyed. I know there is a study at MIT that showed you could kill (actually, destroy the virus shell) with low frequency sound waves emitting from a standard Ultra-sound machine. Considering the current state of the matter with Covid…you would think that this would be a hot field of study at the present. In fact, the very premise could be applied to a significant number of medical afflictions.

This aligns with my experience. We have so many guys off sick with covid now I had to work on my days off to cover. These sick guys are all vaccinated. I’m not vaccinated, got covid a couple of months ago and got better in a week without medical intervention. Some of the guys at work have been off sick more than once.
I know people don’t always read the linked articles and many probably won’t see this comment either, but in the article it does mention that being unvaxed doesn’t mean you are immune to the dangers posed by these mutations. Best we can do is stay fit and hope the decent people that got vaccinated get a chance to learn from their mistakes.

My family of four has just got through our first bout of the virus. It started with out elementary school aged boys, for whom the worst symptom was a mild cough. My wife was extremely fatigued with a persistent cough that hasn’t fully cleared. I’m the last to get it but it’s effects were worse than the others – flu like aches, fever, headaches, dizziness and fatigue. Nine days later and I’m still not fully over it. I’m in my early fifties but very fit. We’ve been on the FLCC nutraceutical regimen for the last 6 months. Unfortunately it didn’t prevent us from getting sick but rather that than injected with a substance of dubious efficacy and unknown long term effects.
My wife and I both fought and held out against the jab in our workplaces – my wife had a looming deadline but her employer, a municipal govt, relented on the mandate a few weeks ago. I leveraged the fact that there are only 4 of us in the company I work for and let it be known that I was perfectly willing to leave and sue, if it came to it.

In my Day Job the attitude to the Fauci Flu is slowly changed over the course of 22 to something like pretending it isn’t really happening.
My Lord and Paymaster in late 2021 went full ‘We want everyone to be fully jabbed and upload their status’ People who were not Jabbed would be still allowed to work but treated like lepers.
We were given a deadline (end of Jan) to get filled fully of needles and upload our status.

We were also told we needed to wear masks indoors. Then they softened it to you only had to wear a mask when you were walking around away from your desk… unless you were a leper and then you had to wear a mask at all times.
I got called out on it. I asked why. I was told that was because I was a leper. I told them that was private medical information that I would prefer not to have spread throughout the company and that I refused to confirm or deny my status. They went… and the issue was dropped.
(actually I also made a claim that being treated significantly differently was f.king my Mental Health and started to make noise that I was being deliberately bullied, so that might have had a little bit to do with it.)
Ironically they also worked out that even announcing by name that someone had Covid was a breech of private medical information. We get told that ‘someone’ in ‘this area’ has been confirmed as a ‘Case’, and then they shut the kitchen and bathrooms for 2 hours so they can do a quick clean of the common areas and… that’s it.
Eventually you ask if Person X is working from home, and get a vague answer about ‘not at work for the moment’ and then a week later they are back at work.
– Hey, not seen you for a bit. You been on leave?
– No, I had Covid.
That’s it. Covid has basically become annoying paperwork and most of us don’t even know people have had it. All this within 3 months. Back then a visitor was confirmed as a Contact and as a result about 200 of us had a 4 day weekend while they deep cleaned the building.

If the virus evolves/mutates to protect that vulnerability, then those with untreatable co-morbidities (the elderly, diabetics, those with suppressed immune systems due to implants or transplants, etc) will again be vulnerable to the virus. Such mutation is more likely in the huge vaccinated population. Hence there is the need to develop or find anti-viral medications that attack some essential viral function without harming the patient. The SARS-cov-2 virus is an RNA virus that is a fast mutating critter, so waiting isn’t a good idea. FDA/NIH should get on the stick with this one.
