    when it takes that long to provide the story, or the person, it becomes a credibility issue!

  4. I’m embarrassed that even with events I was aware of like Ruby Ridge, the Whitey Bulger case, etc., up until 6-8 years ago I still thought the FBI was about fighting crime not creating it.

    Now I assume everything they touch is dirty. For example, a lot of those “bomb plots” they jailed a lot of young Muslim men for after 9/11 were probably as orchestrated by the FBI as thoroughly as the Whitmer “kidnapping plot”.

    1. It’s been an eye opener. Learning how the FBI hires “confidential informants” to do what would be illegal for the FBI to do itself (entrapment, bribery, etc.) for instance. In all of the Hollyweird productions that have a lot of FBI storylines in them, I don’t recall ever seeing one depicting that dirty detail of standard FBI operating procedure.

  6. The FBI needs to be replaced. But do not shut it down, because you do not want those 35,000 arrogant, corrupt agents spreading out to Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agencies nationwide and corruptly polluting them.

    Keep them together and assign them to investigating all the missing Native American and Eskimo women and children. There are about 5,000 that go missing every year. Solving these crimes and disappearances is a noble job that should be done, AND it will keep the FBI far, far away from Washington DC. Even if they solve every missing person in the last 30 years, it should take at least a decade. Heck, I would be happy to assign them to help the RCMP with their First Nations disappearances too. Remember how that was your biggest problem a few years ago, when Harper was in charge?

    Stand up a whole new organization. Make it a dozen separate Regional Organizations, all equal with individual HQ in the hinterlands. Make a rotating executive committee with 5 of the 12 regional heads that rotate out every 2-5 years. Make Washington DC, No. Va., and Maryland a separate area, without a HQ; where the agents are all temporarily assigned for only a few years. Prevent anyone from rebuilding the corrupt DC Praetorian Guard ever again.

    You should consider the same with the RCMP. Get them completely out of local and provincial policing. Only assign them to federal crimes, and keep their HQ far from Ottawa, Toronto, or Quebec City.
