  1. I refuse to do business with anyone who insults me or my intelligence. I regularly went into a Subway and was waiting to be served and noted that the server looked like a guy with tits. I walked out and never went back for a year and he/she/it was gone.

    1. May I suggest staying out of the lunchroom. I would say no one that works there reads anything posted in the lunchroom.

      Personally, I don’t care if some worker looks funny, is tattooed all over, or carves their ears into elf pointy ears, as long as they can competently do their jobs without any BS, all is good, as a matter of fact, I’d rather deal with a competent freak who knows their shit than a know-nothing drone who looks “normal.”

  5. It is the inability of black people to be comfortable with their own skin color that seems to cause much of the problem around race. There now is a growing problem of Black privilege. How many job ads call for whites not needing to apply … government jobs are chockablock with black people …. You barely see white people in TV commercials anymore. The music industry is largely black nowadays … same with many pro sports.

    Many TV show and movies star mainly black people. Asimov’s Foundation Movie substituted two white male characters with black women. Why?

    If black people simply lived in a place that was all black and run by black people they should have no problems that other countries are filled with people of other colors … white and yellow come to mind. But then they wouldn’t have the opportunity and prosperity they enjoy in the Western World, or what’s left of it.

    It appears to me that ‘colored folks’ have turned the corner with the undying help of self loathing white liberals and have surpassed equality to a level of ‘privilege’.

    Think of the benefits of having even one alleged black woman in the US vice presidency role … Kamala Harris … a genius … wouldn’t you say? Or is that dumb-shit Kamala, like Obama, and the current black woman SCOTUS nominee, affirmative action winners.

    This whole racism scourge is alive and well on the left … the rest of us continue to judge people on their character, not their skin color.

    I am on the brown side of the scale and I have sustained some racial flak , but I simply consider the source and move on. Most white people are NOT racist. I don’t think I can say that about most black people. Victim-hood is profitable …

When I was last in about 10 days ago (Alberta) they were announcing loudly and proudly at regular intervals that they now allow and encourage their “associates” to mark their preferred pronouns on their aprons…for the benefit of their customers to correctly interact while requesting assistance. SMH…

      The Chinook location is where I go usually, and it’ll be forever before I address anyone there as anything but what they obviously are.

  8. People are MORE THAN THEIR SKIN COLOUR. How I live as an individual was obtained by many years of hard work and sacrifice. Nobody living gave me a gawd-darned thing. Certainly no lying stinking politician. My grandma left me 5 grand when she passed 35 years ago.

This leaflet suggests that HomeDepot HR has already one or more ‘inclusion and equity’ “Director” or “Officer”s fully trained in the new satanic practice of HR-ing: shield the real HR stuff with some “360” app and daily/weekly indoctrinate employees with crap like this. It will show that HR is busy/hard at work. HR nowadays has nothing “Human”. Like in Orwell’s 1984: Minister of Love – nothing to do with love, Minister of Truth – nothing to do with truth, Minister of Plenty – you get the idea.

  13. Received an email from a Calgary organization that identifies the person sending it with their preferred pronouns and the statement , “We recognize our work, and the work of our membership, takes place on Indigenous territories across Canada.”
    Sigh, my family have been in Canada for over 200 years and it appears I still have no standing.

    1. I briefly worked for a large Canadian delivery company, and during my orientation, the “trainer” opened by giving recognition to the Indigenous land our company occupied followed by ‘blah, blah, blah’. Needless to say, I did not fit in and was relieved of my duties at the end of my probation period.

  16. What defines that piece of propaganda is the statement that talent is a quality to be shared.
    Get that?
    A quality that God gave you and you alone is something that you can somehow transmit from yourself and assign it to someone else regardless of their capability or lack there of.
    Example, an overweight individual using this claptrap logic can now blame their weight on those who are not overweight, like the only reason they can’t lose weight is because those thin people have some unfair advantage.
    When in reality the privilege is personal effort.
    Or as I like to call it, self generated renewable skills.

    These are likely the same people that blame God for war, famine, pestilence, greed, excetera.
    The subset of that are those that got informed that God’s gift is the liberty to follow his rules or not.
    So now they deny God exists so they can claim the rules are not applicable to them, to excuse all manner of perversion.

  18. Each time I’ve been in Home Depot, I can’t get what I was looking for. Lowe’s has an outlet about 15 minutes walk from where I live and it usually does. On top of that, the staff are willing to help you.

    1. See, around here in Sodom on the Rideau, it’s the other way around. The Lowes rarely has what I need and the staff are idiots. Home Depot is the other way around.

        1. The Lowe’s near me in eastern Ontario is useless. I think your case is an outlier.
          The corporate culture at HD is (was) generally superior, in terms of customer service, to that of Lowe’s. Lots of youtube carpentry and tool channels agree with my anecdotal evidence and small sample size. The RONA place I go to is OK as far as customer service is concerned, but its pretty small, in a small town, and they never asked me to wear a mask, but then again, neither have Lowes or HD. I still prefer lumber yards, hardware stores and what have you, to Big Box places, but the whole JIT business model is squeezing those places out.

        2. Funny you should mention Rona. The Lowes in question used to be a Rona, and it was waaaaay better as a Rona. *shrug*
          If I need stuff that the local Home Hardware sells, that’s where I go.

          1. Once outside of cities, things open up, things get real.
            There is a hardware store in Plevna Ontario that stocks Hilti tools.
            Yes, Plevna.

      3. I get a lot of gardening stuff, in season, at Home Depot (and save $$ with free gift cards by using American Express points). I don’t know what’s in their lunch room, but there’s no public sign of wokeness st the several HDs I’ve shopped at in Indiana. // Menard’s, though … THAT is a good store.

  19. As far as the pronouns on the aprons go, most of the employees run the other way when they see a customer coming so not sure it would ever be an issue. If someone is there that is helpful they are usually retired tradespersons and I doubt the care about pronouns.
