It wasn’t that long ago that this also happened at Yale. Should prospective employers forget that these students drummed two well regarded, completely innocent professors out of their jobs?
Personal Note: A few years ago I interviewed with a company in Silicon Valley that built a product behind the scenes for HR professionals to use. It contained a database of a whole lot more data about prospective applicants than the average person could envision being possible. So if anyone thinks that there isn’t “chatter behind the scenes” about job seekers, they’re delusional.
Students who behave in that manner should have their futures utterly destroyed. After a few good examples, this sort of nonsense will stop. The only reason supposedly educmakated asswipes like that misbehave is because faculty and administration are complete and utter cowards, idiots, and enabling incompetents. Ah, what the hell. In saner times children went to Yale to be mentored by such people.
My grandfather was a Yale graduate … JUST prior to WWWI … and he’s been rolling over in his crypt for many years now.
The proliferation of lawyers has led to this. Every 2 bit college has a law faculty. No matter intellectually deficient you are you can probably find a school to accommodate you. The quality of their grads reflect the sorry state of the profession.

If you want to be a student radical who has views that are little different from people like Erich Mielke or Margot Honecker then you have no business being in the law field.
The law faculties in the U.S. should be shut down for years. Law degrees in the U.S. are given out like candy canes at a Santa Claus parade. It would cost the U.S. less to put these SJW wannabe lawyers onto an island and provide for their every need for the rest of their lives rather than unleash those imbeciles on society.
And if you are a fast runner, a famous actor, or some sort of environmental whack job, you are awarded an honourary doctor of law degree in a big ceremony.

It’s been that way for most, if not all, of my working life, going back at least 40 years. Employers don’t see anything wrong in doing that, but an applicant who makes a step wrong has his or her CV consigned to the recycling bin.
