Dear Kids
We are starting to see significant rifts in the opinions of MPs who, only a few weeks ago, were totally united in their support of a never-ending state of emergency. We all know that it’s the grassroot protests headed by the truckers that is making them tilt; it is not, as they claim, that the ‘science’ is starting to change. Some of the smarter ones have sensed a change in the political winds and are worried that their futures are at stake.
To a greater or lesser degree you are all sick and tired of the endless lockups, boosters, masks, passports, job losses, travel difficulties, and other useless and counterproductive restrictions on your freedoms. This will be your one chance to contribute to the process of reversing all this tyranny …. and it is tyranny. And if it is not reversed, well then, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
Not everyone wants to attend protests – and I understand that. But you have the easiest form of protest available at your fingertips: your keyboard. I have made the argument for the last twenty or thirty years that the number one reason our rights and freedoms diminish is because Canadians are too (pick one) lazy, or comfortable, or stupid, or cowardly to let their elected representatives know that they are being watched. We want to believe that all that is necessary for democracy to survive is an X on a ballot every four years.
So do your bit to get some sanity back. Email your respective MPs and MPPs and Council representative – tell them (whether it’s true or not) that although you have supported them and their Party in the past, you will not support them in the future unless they immediately open up your Country/Province by eliminating all Covid restrictions. That is all you have to say. Put your name at the bottom and hit ‘send’. You can find their contact info with a simple Google search.
I can’t stress enough the importance of doing this NOW. If you want to live in freedom, you have to work for it.

I have e-mailed Fat Kenney and my useless MIA MLA countless times. My MP just insists that I go after my MLA claiming all is at the provincial level. The Post Media twerps just mock my letter to the editor responding “safety comes before liberty”.
I will keep it up, however. By now they either call me the pain in the ass or have placed a target on my back.
I have emailed Ford countless times usually sending some of the science info from around the world. They don’t give a damn, none of them, they are all liars.
Emailed my mla a couple weeks ago. No word from him yet. Maybe he already knows I’m not voting ucp again no matter what they do. Ha!
I’ve already told them I’ll never vote for them again unless they accomplish some very public career assassinations and then switch parties. This “problem” has a solution so simple no one even needed to go to Ottawa.
So you won’t vote for their fkavor of tyrant, but you’ll vote for the other flavor of tyrant? Hmmmm…,
I know you Canadians are polite and all, but maybe what you need to do is HANG ALL tyrants. Ever think of that?

Yesterday afternoon I had a conversation about the trucker protests with a Canadian colleague in SF. She also was against the truckers but didn’t really seem to understand why. To her credit, she was open to discussing the subject. Later I sent her a dozen links. I think I’m going to bring her over to the light!
Good on this father for trying to do the same!

She named a virus omicron not because it has anything to do with sars-cov-2. It is the common cold. Amazing how many lies can be told about a flu virus.
It doesn’t hurt to send notes (mostly unacknowledged or auto reply ‘get your vax’), and it
is satisfying to vent a bit from time to time.
Done, morning emails sent. I enjoyed signing off with ‘have tractor, will travel’.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Remind your MP especially if they are liberal, that Trudeau’s intransience is the covid emergency now and they will be held responsible for his actions. Nothing a careerist politician fears more than a threat to is rice bowl. As for your Albertan MLAs, Red Deer is coming and only by removing Kenney will we stave off the red horde.
