      1. Klaus is rubbing his hands gleefully.
“You see, you see, our strategy pays off once again.
Herr Bergen has finally realized the futility of fighting us at zee WEF”.

        1. Shouldn’t that be “Frau Bergen”? Not that it matters in this country any more….

    1. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME………
She doesn’t get it either…..NO THE BLOCKADES STAY UP BECAUSE THE GOVT LEADERS HAVE REFUSED TO MEET WITH THE TRUCKERS AND THEIR LEADERS…….

      Tone deaf Conservatives…………

    2. I believe I have mentioned years ago that I am the only living conservative in Canada. It would seem that many more have finally joined the ranks. Sadly the conservative party is not conservative.

      1. It hasn’t been since Bennett was Prime Minister. Maybe not even then.
MacDonald was the leader of the “Liberal Conservatives” after all.

    3. Looks like somebody has gotten to her.

They all cave … why? Who is either paying them off or threatening them?

    4. Wow, she flamed out in only a week. Even Joe Clark and Kim Campbell didn’t do it that quickly. Not much point in having an economy if you don’t have freedom; cart before the horse and so forth.

      1. This was the last straw for me. Am going to contact CPC headquarters and tell them I am revoking my party membership and to never contact me again.

It’s the PPC for me now. Cash and boots on the ground effort.

We need a purge. Anyone and everyone associated with the WEF, the Bilderberg Meetings, any Davos meetings, any TIDES or other eco-terrorists groups are immediate disqualifiers for ANY public office. The WEF has already provided lists of future troublemakers:
        https://www.globalshapers.org/hubs/vancouver-hub
        https://www.globalshapers.org/hubs/edmonton-hub
        https://www.globalshapers.org/hubs/toronto-hub
All names noted for future reference. Strictly for deciding who to vote for and who not to.

    5. They clearly either still don’t get it. Or never got it to begin with. What say you Pierre Poliviere? This your position too? If so, you are done.

      Going full MAX!

  1. Assume that whatever a politician–ANY politician–says for public consumption is a lie, and you’ll never be disappointed when you hear what they say.

  2. Candystripper BJ O’Bergen – thar she blows… Trudeau.

The CPC is just as treasonous as the LPC. Both parties need destroying.

    1. Agreed..!!

      There’s 3 who I will believe:
      Max
      Sloan
      Hillier

      The rest..?
      Spawn of the WEF
      Paid by China

      1. So far those men are the limited selection. Maybe a few more might come out of the truckers protests. Sure would be good to see more people like me with a freedom mindset.

          1. I’m 1/64ths Flathead Tribe. Have Thalassemia and Vitiligo; so I must be part black.
Is that enough boxes checked that the police will be hands off if I block the CPR?

        1. It’d be impossible for the police to shut them down – especially in the prairies where they’re crossed by grid roads every few miles. All it takes is a tractor, a pickup or a pile of rocks or manure.

        2. The RCMP might, but the rail police won’t, unless the company tells them to. I have it on good authority that in at least one of those instances, the cameras got shut off, and the blockade was quickly cleared, but that never made the news, because they didn’t want it to.

Keep in mind that the rail police (CP and CN have their own police…I think the largest private police organisations in North America, and possibly the west) have jurisdiction on all policing issues within 500m of a rail right-of-way, unless they choose to waive it.

        1. All it takes is a wire rope of one inch diameter, and a tractor, dozer, big truck, take your pick. Gives tractor/rail pull a whole new meaning

  3. Oh well, for a few minutes I thought there might be a chance that the CPC weren’t all a pack of gutless cowards who would stab normal Canadians in the back at their first opportunity.

Max sent me another fund raising email today, time to bust out the credit card.

Before the damage to the economy just hurt the Little People, now it is hurting the ‘Elites’.
Which is exactly why it is happening.

The damage can be stopped immediately and simply and everyone knows exactly how: End the mandates.
The only reason we still have any covid mandates is because politicians are pouting and wanting to cling to power.
When the Ford plant is down the workers can call the politicians and ask them them why they don’t simply remove the obviously unnecessary mandates.

    1. “The only reason we still have any covid mandates is because politicians are pouting and wanting to cling to power.”
That’s true. Mandates are being dropped everywhere as the virus abates and the containment measures and vaccines prove ineffective. This is all about ego . . . Totally galling.

      1. LindaL, we have covid crap because the average Canadian fell for the psyop, and irrational fear took hold, and I will say still well over 50% think they are going to die from the whu who flu and not the shots. As many have said there is no cure for stupid. By the way, the virus did not exist and rebranding the flu to force vaxxes was evil beyond the pale. Shooting that poison into children should get every government agent, employee, and politician a permanent spot at a labor camp for their crimes against humanity. Do I think anyone will do this, maybe not in Canada but it is starting in other countries. Uniformed Canadians will still bask in blissful ignorance as their lives, children and families are ruined.

    2. The “threat to our democracy” comment translates to “the proles are refusing to pay for our lavish lifestyles”.

  4. candice thump thump thump bergen, a very typical right side of the poli/soci aisle. A religious nut job

      1. Why is anybody surprised a conservative can’t be found in a caucus filled to the brim with Lieberal-lite?

  5. I’m probably overthinking this but I wonder if an unofficial assurance was given if the blockade was dropped then the dear leader could save face and drop the mandates without caving. If so then a naive belief that the deal was real to drop the mandates and an unrealistic expectation for the trucker’s reaction. Also possible she is doing what she can to warn of the impending power play to remove them by force. I would just like to think there is someone in the House that isn’t a tool. (my naivety in play?)

    1. That is so far past naive as to venture into the galactically stupid. Sorry, but that is the blunt truth. Back down now, the only thing you get is HARDER!

      1. Well thanks I guess, “galactically stupid”… that leaves “universally stupid” to work on. I’ll give it a try next round…ha.

          1. The trouble is.. They’ve kept everything behind the scenes for years while claiming transparency and that is why we are at where we’re at. If you are a politician and want to work for the Canadian people, it was called public service after all, you will only be followed if you are truthful. I know… Pure fantasy… We’ve been lied to for so long that there is nothing but distrust for these a+holes and they are going to have to work a lot harder to regain even a smattering of trust. Candace, I had some brief respect for you after you badgered that weasel Trudeau but now you want us to slide our trump card across the table? Next…

    2. Definitely overthought. Bergen’s doing what O’Toole was doing: listening to the other side. It’s character weakness and has all the wisdom of a parliamentary committee decision on clean drinking water on aboriginal reserves. She didn’t sign up for the MP gig to be a lightning rod for the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. She just wanted a 9 to 5 nice Gov’t paycheque with a guaranteed pension after 6 years. Politicians aren’t long haulers and they can’t handle callouses.

Like it or not the Ottawa truckers are being set up as the unreasonable ones. The thing is everyone in Canada is seeing what our Gov’t is doing to them and their support is grass roots country-wide. Anger is building and if truckers are turned into martyrs from police brutality, look out. Spring is coming.

      1. That isn’t going to happen. It’s rumored the Ontario government has declined 3 different meetings with the Federal Government and City of Ottawa. Everyone is leaving this to Turdeau to handle. He will resign.

        1. Trudeau’s ego is bigger than Canada. I think he’d burn parliament down before he’d resign. He’s waiting for Butts to come up with a solution but he crossed the border to get a free crack pipe.

  6. At this point, why even entertain the idea, or pretend if you prefer, that we have a functioning democracy?

Maxime Bernier was right to point out, much to their chagrin, that they are puppets of globalist edicts.

It doesn’t matter who ultimately takes over the reins of the party if the oligarchy cut them off at the kneecaps.

  7. Haven’t seen anyone flip that quick since Andrea Horwath.
Here I thought Rempel had the patent on talking out of both sides of your yap.

    1. Burton ^^^ awesome! Rempel certainly didn’t invent it. Sure has acted like she owns the marketing rights, though!

  8. Why is she not urging Trudeau to negotiate? She should be praising the Liberal defector and calling on all Liberals to pressure their leader to establish a negotiating team to work with truckers. Disappointing for sure.

    1. LindL

And you just don’t get it, there is NO to negotiate. The bar has been set. Just shut down ALL “covid”bullshit. All of it!

  9. Let’s face it, it’s controlled opposition. Nowhere in the provinces or federally have the opposition piped up about mandates and vaccinations through this fiasco. It’s been rule by fiat assisted by the media. Canada is at a tipping point. There is no doubt the intent of the governments is to have permanent vaccine passports and mandates.

    1. Yep, NS voted in a new conservative government that is even more oppressive than the liberal one. Once they obtain absolute power they’ll crush the peasants with the media holding the hammer.

        1. The governing Conservative Party in NB is lead by Adolf Higgs, the Macron imitator.

These fake Conservative parties need to drop the fake conservative moniker.

Trade the blue for yellow.(and green in NB. Irving colors for the Irving Party)

  10. Well that didn’t take long- what two days to stab the supporters in the back, not surprised their spines are made of jello. The truckers don’t need their support, but the cons need the voters support and I am sitting out the next election thanks to their lack of spine. For two years our economy was at a stand still where was the conservative outrage-yea shove it up your nose.

      1. My sentiment exactly. I started supporting financially right at the start and voted for the party rep in our area last election. We have to do something other than sit around with our heads planted firmly up our asses.

  11. If Conservatives were clever they’d keep a low profile on this one, Trudeau and company can take it on and deal with it.
Obviously law and order is paramount, people need to be safe, governments need to ensure public safety.

Trudeau will not meet with them, he’s ignoring them and no media will seek him out.
If thing’s go badly enough he may have to take extreme measures if ignoring them doesn’t work.

      1. Bingo! That’s their trouble. They spend too much time trying to be clever instead of just being honest and courageous.

        1. They come by the Stupid Party sobriquet honestly.

Just remember, every little incident from here on will be pinned on the Conservative Party by Canada’s most dishonest, lying Media.

The Canadian Media already have their Jan.6 like Insurrection columns written.

  12. She likely has a Lexus on order and Toyota’s Cambridge plant just called to say it’s going to be delayed.

  13. The current turmoil is making it easy to see which group individual politicians are in. There are the entitled elites who are in it for themselves and really only need one thing – a bit more power. There are the “moderates” / “useful idots” that mostly go along with “the science” or whatever the “experts” say.
Then there are those who fruly believe believe that “a Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian.” They’re the people that will start a freedom convoy to Ottawa to protest a terrible injustice for someone else. They’re the people that join and support the convoy whatever way they can.
Once this freedom group gets large enough, it will be possible for government to do what is right. We’ll know they’re on the right track when we see the size and reach of government shrink and continue to shrink. Symptoms will be no government funding for media, a Class 1A (CDL) license outscoring a law or political science degree for getting elected as MPs and MLAs, AND Don Cherry honoured with the OOC (Order of Canadian) and being given a life appointment of choosing all future inductees (don’t waste money on a committee).

    1. ’a Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian’.

I guess that’s only true until you stand up to the government and don’t participate in their medical experiment. Then you’re a small minority of swastika-waving-racist-hater-mysoginists. Trudeau has replaced Mulroney as the worst lying, two faced weasel in Canadian politics.

  14. She could have called for talks and the need to drop mandates like every other country is doing, but no, let’s strengthen Trudeau’s position in this.

    Fools.

  15. Canada’s “Conservative” Party is in dire need of a very large and very high-priced public funeral,.

  16. The Tories are showing their relevancy. Forget ’em; they’ll be of little help. It’s best to maintain focus on Liberal continued arrogant inaction on this situation.

  17. I swear it’s almost like they get a phone call at 3 in the morning from some nefarious globalist villain, stroking his furless cat while telling them how very disappointed he is.

Remember the good old days when Max was deemed too “radical”? Good times.

    1. They might well be getting calls at 3 AM from Klaus Schwab threatening them, their families, or to detomate a bomb downtown or something. How else does EVERYONE start singing off the same page? Under normal circumstances, all those politicians couldn’t get together and decide on lunch, let alone policy! Yet now they are in perfect accord: same actions, same wording, same excuses. Fishy, that.

  18. HaHaHa.

Sorry, but I have to laugh at anyone who really thinks that a leadership change is anywhere near enough to change the corrupted heart of the CPC. The party is totally corrupted, their continued determination to promote leaders who pander to the woke mob and who always bow to globalists is clear proof of that. That and they have repeatedly demonstrated about the same belief in Freedom of Speech within their own ranks as Kim Jong-Un.

    1. That is true. I’m curious if you signed the petition a leadership candidate has posted on his website? Campaigning in the middle of this truckers protest and the candidate wants you to sign a petition? No commitments on his part?

      Not ready for prime time.

  19. It took one week as leader for her spine to turn to jelly.
When it comes to the Conservative Party, we have confirmation that a woman can do a man’s job.

  20. End the mandates, pass laws to ensure this never happens again, then every single politician in Canada must write and sign an essay apologizing for what they have done to canada then post a video of them reading it sincerely on Rumble. Trudeau must leave the country and never return. Then negotiations can begin to end the blockades.

CPC and UCP will get my full support after they do all the above AND the earth starts spinning the opposite direction.

    🙂 have a great day!

    1. Don’t mention the Earth, johnboy. Someone will notice it is spinning out of control and we must DO SOMETHING about it, an Earth spin-tax perhaps?

    1. Her constituency is in one of the most anti-vax regions in Canada. She is saying good-bye to the career on the Parliament Hill.

    2. Done.

I gave her the benefit of not mentioning I would not accept a talking points response. We shall see.

  21. If we’re still living under Castreau’s fascist faux-pandemic mandates, the economy isn’t hurting nearly enough. The pain you feel will stop when the mandates stop, little girl.

  22. Suggestions for a couple more mandates.
Mandate lobotomies for everyone who votes Liberal.
It is a simple medical procedure, not much difference than getting vaccinated.
Mandate an end to all the pouting by politicians and their media harem.

    1. Lobotomies for Liberal voters. Love the idea, Stan!!
      But…..
      How will we tell?
They will need some sort of lob-port, as it is so hard to tell a lobotomized Liberal from a non-lobotomized one.

    2. I think there was an example posted yesterday, it was quick and required only a 2 inch spike and a hammer. Quicker than the VaCcInAtIoN and how much is a pound of spikes? Much less than the US$34. Per person for the vax.

      1. Seams Right,
I would like to venture the suggestion of using four inch spikes, so the ‘point’ can really be hammered home.

  23. Yup. There’s the true “blue-ness” of the conservative party; nothing to do with conservativism, defense of our charter rights, our human rights. It’s all about scoring political points, checking the polls and recalibrating. No principle, whatsoever, involved in their current position. How can they expect anyone who has left them to come back? Anyone looking for new leadership, to choose them?

  24. Well they got to her pretty quick. What did they give/promise/threatenn her? Get with of the party inside office.

    1. Just sent her a letter to that effect; most cordial and polite. I won’t hear back though.

That should say “… get RID of the party inside office.”

  25. Thats right Candice, because only Goverment should have the monopoly to tell you to bend over, smile and tell you this is for your own good.

  26. Oh, so she’s Liberal-lite as well? Buh-bye, Candice. She should be excused, CPC should change leader TODAY.

That’s why I repeatedly said that CPC has some big problems: too many voted with the limp fish oTool + alarmingly low support numbers in Ezra’s poll 2-3 days ago suggested that there’s still a Liberal tumor within CPC.

Freedom Convoy is more necessary now than ever: since true/real Opposition is MIA, it is truckers’/farmers’ job to do it.

  27. “I urge the truckers to end their protests. Soyboys across the country are hurting because they can’t have their pumpkin poof lattes and their avacado toast……”

Was she being coached by Kim Campbell?

    1. “Was she being coached by Kim Campbell?”

Nope. By the same little poli-sci lefties that her predecessors listened to … and those little worms listen to turdo’s bought-and-paid-for media.

  28. She’s a fool and not particularly bright – Holland played her like a fine tuned knob the other day – diverted her to racism, away from the topic on the floor and she fell right into his trap.

  29. HA HA – conservative priorities. I’m staying with Max. Honk Honk!

Anyone see Herr Higgs latest fascist dictate? Good golly PROGRESSIVE conservatives sure do hate dissent.

It’s time to shut down NB/NS.

    1. What the hell has happened in the Maritimes? I guess my perception of down Easterners is completely wrong. I was actually shocked to discover that the Atlantic region is the only part of Canada to poll below 50% in support of removing the mandates. Oh well, a perfect illustration of overdependence on the Nanny State. Pull up your socks for God’s sake

  30. She made some weak-assed comments earlier in the week (Monday?) and had my bs detector humming. Sure enough…

  31. Look, they still wear stupid useless masks while talking about following the science, plus Parliament is an old building and as such must have poor ventilation. They are oxygen deprived.

    1. Aren’t they still in some off-site auditorium waiting for construction to end?
Maybe there is CO being pumped into the opposition side.

  32. “She has heard us and is now promising to fight for us.”

Sorry, I’ve heard those promises before.

    I’ll stick with Max.
If and when, someday, the CPC actually uncurls from the fetal position and accomplishes something, anything, then I’ll have a look.
Until then it is Cash On Delivery. No more votes or donations or anything up front.
    Show me.

  33. Hey CanDASS.

We Know at every one of you sniveling cowards are ALL-IN on this Scam and have been Since Oct 2019.

You know how to end it right..??
End ANY and all Restrictions country Wide: With power to mandate that over Any Provincial or Municipal Govt.

Do it, legislate it….and it ends, whereupon we start looking at Cementing in some LONG OVERDUE Amendments to our Charter of rights.

    1. Just another day where my bias that the country was founded solely as a safe haven for those that fled the newly formed United States.
They are not interested in the welfare of this “post-nation” state, their objective is the preservation of the government at the expense of the nation.
If anyone wishes to save it, knock yourself out. I won’t obstruct those efforts and god speed, but I won’t lift a finger either.

    2. How about just living by the existing Charter Rights (in the sense of not trampling all over them…)

  34. “I’m shocked, shocked I tell you to discover that gambling is taking place in this establishment”

    1. They’d probably make a few extra bucks per cheque if they just cross the floor and make it official. Fox News is doing an excellent job of covering the Ottawa Convoy. And an even better job of pillorying Trudeau. Joe Warmington being interviewed by John Roberts right now. Talking about the Grandfather honking his horn and getting arrested.
