We can only hope that Mr. Bishop will provide a fair and equitable forum for this event, which would avoid an N-to-1 situation. Thus we trust that he will also invite the likes of @GadSaad and @jordanbpeterson to attend as well.

What is the truth about the sudden concern by Children’s Aid for kids with their parents in the trucks. I’m suspicious it took 10 days but the ‘brain trust’ in Ottawa is suffering a winterlude not previously known. And the Internet black out rumours, we await developments.
It’s a trap. Cameron’s linkedin says “public affairs and government relations expert” which is basically how to wrap the BS to seem nice and not smell. He has a history of at least from 2005 of just BS-ing for gov. His twater feed is full of friends like mr Butts or Glen McGregor + messages “can’t we all just get along?”

Anyway, Freiheit is smart enough to see that when the “discussion” is in effect.
Frei should use the science out there. It’s not his fault if he’s more educated or currentt than the people he’s debating, is it?

Interesting so far though I’m smiling that the moderator is comparing the freedom of the people nearby in Ottawa with the removal of freedoms of all of the Canadian people over the past two years. The word “myopic” comes to mind.
The first speaker is talking about “freedom of fear” and the “right to walk their streets in peace and quiet”. Uh huh. He’s now talking about the Freedom Protests equivalent to a “riot”.
Who exactly is debating the protesters’ side?

The 2nd speaker just said that the Freedom Protest has displayed a lot of Hate Symbols and insists that the protest is funded by Republicans in America. She/He is triple-vaccinated. Just self-identified as a trans-gender individual that none of Her/His freedoms have been infringed upon during the past two years. Just defended Joël Lightbound’s right to have different views.
What hate symbols? The several that did appear were immediately driven off because it was apparent they intended to undermine the protest.
The moderator just said that he was the subject of a physical attack. Paint me skeptical.

The moderator is now attaching the Nazi flag directly to the protesters. Now he’s attaching Jagmeet Singh’s “overthrow the government” tagline to the protesters.

She wants to really reach out to those people who are disenfranchised. When I looked deeply at who was organizing this convoy, I found people involved with white supremacy and racism.

Interesting that her allegations were not challenged, and she was not advised that she should only speak of things inside her own personal experience, as was at least one previous speaker. There is zero chance that she has personal experience of the “involvement” with white supremacy and racism that she mentioned.
So the co-host is pro-mandates, speaks 1/2 the time and a professional in media, brings in 1/2 of people who speak pro-mandates. This is no debate.
Its rapidly turned into Ottawans lecturing “others” about their ignorance. The undercurrent is that the “others” have outraged Ottawans by inconveniencing them.

I listened to about ten minutes, that is what I got too.
A lecture from out betters, betters who couldn’t fix a flat tire.

The trans is back and he’s carrying on about the legacy of “white supremacist men” that surrounds Ottawa. I’m happy that he’s conscious of the background of his community, but its utterly unclear to me how that relates to this discussion.
Summary: not a complete waste of time. The frustrations expressed by a handful of Ottawans who have briefly been inconvenienced seem trivial when compared with the desperation expressed by others whose lives have been destroyed by government mandates, and lockdowns which (the “science” last week revealed via Johns Hopkins) had no effect on the spread of Covid.
A circle jerk that accomplishes nothing. In fact, worse than that. It will have a negative impact. They’ll chop that up, disseminate it on social media to make the truckers look bad. Until they come to the table with concrete changes, there’s nothing to discuss.

In the haste and lust to rule the deplorable unacceptables, they’ve galvanized a majority of Canadians behind one issue.

This will all end when Trudeau gets permission from US teachers unions to end lockdowns and bacteria ridden childhood masks.

So we’ll endure more bleats from 62% of Canadians are against the truckers but the same percentage want all mandates gone.
The anti-mandate movement can only grow, the deluded doofuses still blissfully unaware, pretending we still trust their guidance.
If this isn’t a slam dunk for right or centre political parties everywhere, then there is no hope for free enterprise or speech.
With end the mandates Conservatives and PPC, the majority of voters now with nowhere else to go if they want to end statist control.
They’re not going to let this great crisis they created go to waste. Time to reset, a new normal – but what should be a rude awakening
