This is What the Elites Think of You

In times past, the elites would make an effort to pretend they were looking out for your best interests. They weren’t but they were just pretending to be nice. Now they’re skipping the nice part.

Btw here’s the a$$ who drew the cartoon

  1. Lovely. At first, I thought it was sarcasm against the “elites”. This idiot thinks it’s “ fascist” to protest having potential poison forced into your body against your will when it won’t prevent spread of the china flu.

I’ll be glad when we finally Flatten that curve

      1. Sorry to say it … but Canada would happily accept UN blue helmets to restore a little order on Canadas highways … Kissinger was right.

  2. The whole Prog charade is at its core, classist; the rest is just smoke and mirrors. It’s driven by off shoring and automation, instantaneous communication and digital technology. Some of this was inevitable, and it is not as though it doesn’t have some benefit; it’s just not a win win for everyone, especially for workers. In any case, as the numbers and power of Middle working America declined, the more global/ corporatist power grew to the point that they and their minions, in government and media/academia regard working people as hopelessly out of date dinosaurs and totally disregard their interests, to the point of disdain and contempt. The working middle of western societies just doesn’t have the clout, it once had.

    1. “The working middle of western societies just doesn’t have the clout, it once had.”

I believe it still does. Akin to the Convoy, it just needs organization & direction.

      1. Only when we have a leader like Donald J Trump who is willing to smash the TRUE FASCISTS in government who have seized powers NOT granted them by the PEOPLE. No, I am not the member of some “personality cult” … rather, simply smart-enough to know how a representative Republic works … err is supposed to work.

      2. Everyone should be heartened by the convoy and I hope you are right.
I was really addressing economic reasons for why the self anointed and so called “elites” believe they can get away with their disregard for workers, excepting public sector unions.

  3. Isn’t the definition of fascism when the government colludes with private industry to take away your rights? Well isn’t that what big business have done via vaccine mandates, now that’s the definition of liberal fascism.

    1. Precisely. Btw it’s fun to ask a Lefty to define Fascism. 99% of them are too ignorant to even know what the word means.

      1. Leftist definition is “anything and anyone we don’t like or agree with”. Thus, the modern day SA, Antifa was born from Leftist ignorance.

    2. Yes. But when up now means down, blue means red, and dark is light … Fascism has lost its meaning. Orwell was far more prophetic than I ever believed possible.

    1. Dumb … yup. But he’s scared too. He sees cracks appearing in his cozy little elitist world.

      1. It just might be they are …. people have a right to be angry, they stayed home watched, their kids wither, while wondering what the hell politicians where doing. Masks at recess, relatives carrying on like everything is normal not out of stoicism but the usual apathy and counting of sand grains. The attitudes that have fed the putrid empty vapid Liberalism , Justin feeds off of.
They have hijacked “nice”, and “peaceful” to turn people into a type of vegetable. They don’t want to be bothered to see the serfs that they really are and I think the last two years should be proof.
Toe the line or your fodder for the politicians counting on the serfs and their empty virtues.
I’ve had friends some vaccinated say they got emotional seeing the truckers and all the people supporting them.
Doesn’t anyone ask themselves how friggin arrogant and full of malice a politician has to be, to keep bludgeoning voters with BS over and over again that they get emotional finally seeing fellow Canadians say enough.
I think the West is really at at crossroads, either the brakes come on or the decline accelerates.
It’s sad and negative but that’s the way it looks to me.

      2. Scared? What? … he just wants everyone else to be “protected” from those horrible, terrible, unvaxxed truckers. The true Fascists simply want everyone else to be “safe”

  4. The Left views anyone who disagrees with them as a fascist.
They are the students who want safe spaces, the Ray Bradbury Book Club, the municipal councillors who tell you where you can’t ride a toboggan or skate, BurnLootMurder, the K-bec language advocates, the strident alphabet people, the Health Community, and so on.
    And Juthtin/Jughead are their leaders.

A convoy about lifting/regaining freedoms governments had no right, but all the power to take, is about as anti-fascist as you can get.

The “elites” State Security have real worries: that some might become assassins or go full IRA on the fuckers. That’s their worst case analysis. Groups can be easy to find because that’s a numbers game: the higher the number, the louder the chatter.
But they’re helpless against Lone Wolves.

Not advocating, but when “elites” and their minions talk too much, they risk getting punched in the mouth.

    1. Like Mike Tyson used to say, ” Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth “.

    1. And separatists, as some of those trucks are bound to be Western Star. Maybe some of them were built in Edmonton as there’s a WS plant just outside the city limits along the Yellowhead Highway.

      1. Ah. Thx. I believe I passed one of those “elites” last summer on my trip out to the left coast with our youngest. As you note, driving a Priapus. He was doing about 85k. Must’ve like his latte smoked ’cause his windows were down, in the middle of a heat wave & smoke show from the BC forest fires. New trend, perhaps?

  5. DeAdder is a commie arse who thinks hes clever. Thinks the barista at Starbucks is a fascist for making his mocha latte wrong. Needs a good kick in the pronouns.

    1. Communists think everything other than communism is fascism. They are too stupid to understand that communism and fascism are essentially the same thing just with different lipstick.

  6. You have to remember that your average journalist started out in art class but they couldn’t handle the heavy math load in Introduction To Finger Painting so they transferred into journalism.

    1. I always thought they were dropouts from Underwater Basketweaving 101 and couldn’t hold their brefs long enough. My bad.

  7. I refuse to consider some local hack cartoonist as a member of the “elite”, but I suppose he is sort of a lamprey creature to them.
And if he works in that area, I guess it’s necessary to suck up to trudeau.

  8. Although this appears on de Adder’s twitter account, I can’t find it in the Toronto Star where his cartoons are often published.

Perhaps the Toronto Star, in a shocking display of sound judgment, rejected the cartoon.

  9. The fascists are the government. Full stop. Fascism cartelizes the private sector and denies fundamental rights and liberties to individuals. In fact, the truckers are the true anti-fascists.

  10. I’m a New Brunswicker, and was stuck reading de Adder’s cartoons early on. A true leftist he. I was involved with the then-New Brunswick Confederation of Regions party, as a volunteer advisor when it formed the official opposition from 1992-1996, and I remember that this cartoonist took special delight in skewering the Cor party.

Anyways, the lowest of the low came when our local yokel CBC News tried to have a regular weekly piece with de Adder, whereby the CBC camera would train In on the white drawing board as the left-winger started to draw. Needless to say, this idea, with the news host repeatedly asking “What’s coming next?” made for tedious TV. Added to that, de Adder was, and probably still is, an arrogant and pompous human being. The CBC host and de Adder were leftists to be sure, but the cartoonist could be nasty to anybody, and that also made for irritating TV. After four of these drawing-on-TV episodes, the CBC ended the series. Now that de Adder made the big time in Washington, he must be arrogant as hell.

  11. He works for the Washington Post.

That’s all I need to know.

If this dolt and others like him are so disgusted by these “fascist” truckers, they are welcome to hide in their homes forever and watch their food supplies dwindle as everyone else who appreciates how a functioning economy works rebuilds their lives.

  12. Michael de Bagger

What a noxious turd. Democracy dies in silence. Make yourself heard.
