  1. I see that Youtube has once again chosen to engage in censorship. Is the video available on Rumble or elsewhere. You really should post both sites to highlight the censorship to everyone.

  2. That guy used to be a hard core leftist. he’s been red-pilled with a vengeance lately.
    He’s still batshit crazy, though.

    1. Maybe if he got out of bed, took a shower, shaved, got dressed, left the house, he might become normal.

But I agree. We need more like him spreading the truth.

  3. Brand makes the simple yet devastating observation that our culture and government bends over backward to “celebrate” and support our differences … EXCEPT this difference. And more broadly … any conservative difference. Yes, this is called hypocrisy. In spades.

PS … Brand needs a wardrobe consultant. The morning-after gay-hooker look is a little creepy

  4. Sorry. This moron’s past behavior and speech precludes him from any honest consideration whatsoever.

    1. That attitude Anna is why Canada has stupid freaking liberals destroying the country.

    2. That’s on you, not him. He makes good points and that’s what’s important.
No one is asking you to date him or trust him or befriend him. This tribalism, however darkly satisfying is going to lead us to ruin. And by us I mean US, not the Russel brands of the world.

    3. Would you say the same for David Horowitz? Dr. William Jacobson? Reagan?

All were leftists in their youth who learned the truth as they aged into maturity.

      1. As Churchill said, if you are not a socialist by the time our are 20, you don’t have a heart. If you are not a conservative by the time you are 40 you don’t have a brain.

    4. Sorry Anna May….your loss.
He did an excellent mockery of JT in this last vid.
The red pilled lefties are my go to these days.
Dave Rubin and Joe Rogan, for sure.
Glenn Greenwald is up there too.

  5. AvE did a video thanking the truckers, as well. he’s got a pretty big international following that is not made up almost entirely of pot-smoking millennials.

  6. Not the biggest Brand fan, but this is an excellent take. Don’t let them control the narrative and spot light violent opinions. This is about medical liberty and bodily autonomy.

  7. can’t watch him for more than a couple minutes. His previous leftist attitudes have skewed my opinions of Brand, but it’s nice to see him making a bit of sense even if it is for just a couple minutes.

    1. Thor – it was actually 14minutes and 29 seconds and when I watched YTube it had
      624, 071 views on January 27th.
Of course, there is no mandate in place which forces you to view it, yet.

  8. Justin Trudeau and the captive media have been characterizing the truckers as right-wing extremists – using a buzz-word bingo that tries to link them to white nationalists, Jan. 6 insurrectionists, and Trump supporters. Naturally, the media has scrupulously avoided allowing any of the protesters to actually voice their views. The casual racism of this narrative is breathtaking, given the fact that Canadian truckers are overwhelmingly minorities in the first place, (over 60% of the Canadian trucking industry are Punjabi).

  9. How wonderful that this “gentleman” is on the correct side of the mandate, freedom, and sane discourse in the present day world wide covid 19 insanity BUT it doesn’t change the fact that he is a hard-core drug addicted ,drug addled, disgusting greasy Marxist, communist.
This guy has been on the wrong side of EVERYTHING that he’s stuck his nose in, his entire life, until today.
So I praise him for this post, but I don’t trust him and never will.

    1. Incorrect. he’s been on our side, for the most part, for about a year or so.
I welcome him to the ranks of the freedom-loving, just like that Lindsay chick from western university, that CBC broad who exposed the extreme woke agenda of the CBC, etc.

There are two types of people:
Those who wish people to be free, and those who do not.

  10. Love Russell since he saw the light.
His appearance makes it hard for leftists to dismiss him out-of-hand.

He into yoga and is vegan, so something leftists are drawn to out of curiosity…much like a worm on a hook.

    1. Speaking of Convoy:
We are hearing the trucks are just rolling in to North Bay ON, a bit behind schedule. Friend in city just said :”horns going off everywhere!”
They plan to leave around 4, heading east on HWY 17, going right past my hometown.
Will be bundling up soon (-13 and sunny right now) to join the crowd and wave the flag, and cheer.
      This is historical.

  11. Just read an hilarious comment on the Toronto Sun article on the convoy:

    Give Trudeau a break
He’s suffering from a severe case of Coward-19
Can’t think or talk and only feels better if he hides under his bed

    1. To be fair to Trudeau, he may have misunderstood what his advisors were talking about. He may have thought they asked him if he was into man dates

    2. Fortunately, he tested negative for Cahuna-19.

(saw this on SDA earlier today – – worth repeating.)

  12. Pierre Poilievre is again doing the job of a leader, while the guy that thinks he is a leader follow the socialist agenda.

Pierre Poilievre Responds To Press “Extremist” Gaslighting
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7R-K7_gvb44

Note how he elegantly ‘splains (sic) to the ideologues the way a normal person would report it.
Too bad he does not want the leadership position.
This country needs people like Poilievre to talk to the media cartel.
Watch the mass media cartel as they twist and work around to discredit Poilievre from now on.

Though there is a better chance that the mass media cartel is not going to make it public.

    1. Poilievre talks the talk, but doesn’t walk the walk. He votes how he’s told to by Erin.

      1. Yeah, that’s the nature of the current so called leader.
For better of worse, it is good that Poilievre says things that are right.
If Poilievre does not, at least in part, give in to the so called leader, he no doubt, will be told to shut up, after this.
Poilievre is obviously conservative as opposed to the supposed leader by miles.
If the supposed leader shut’s him up, that would not be good.

It is too bad that Poilievre has to dribble here and there just to be able to speak his mind.

    1. The world or at least Americans know now what is going on, though 90% of politicians and the whole media cartel that is covering for them. They are, as is their want, using all the derogatory names that the socialists/fascists are know to employ in an emergency, since they have no argument.

  13. Brand has over 4.7M subscribers and averages 600,000 views per podcast. Wow, I didn’t realize he is a bigger draw than Tim Pool. I’m not so monolithic that I don’t value their reach.

    Exasperated

  14. I live in the Ottawa area. No, I don’t work for any level of government or public institution and am no fan of Trudeau and his ilk. A lot of the more rural parts of the Ottawa Valley are pretty conservative and, while distinct from rural Alberta or Saskatchewan, they aren’t foreign the way Federal/Laurentian Ottawa is.

For my manifold sins, I had to drive downtown (yeah, right in front of Parliament no less down Wellington Street) this morning and saw the beginnings of the protest. One truck had arrived on Wellington in front of Parliament with a giant F— Trudeau proudly emblazoned on the side of the trailer. A few people with big beautiful Canadian flags and handwritten posters braved the cold (-17, worse with windchill) to chant and wave.

To my very pleasant surprise, the local radio station — CFRA — gave a quite positive and sympathetic analysis of the situation during their late morning opinion show. One bit that stuck in my memory (from memory so not exact):

Host: “So any bad apples would only be a small minority…”
Guest [interrupting]: “No, no, it’s not fair to phrase it that way. Any negative actors would only be an extreme fringe, and we never define a movement by an extreme fringe that tries to attach itself”.

Host and guest agree that CBCs coverage is predictably awful (Canada’s Insurrection! Treason! Racism!), but express slight surprise that Global was so bad.

I found this interesting since you’d normally expect an Ottawa-oriented local radio station to be kind of negative on the city being gridlocked even more than usual, but the themes the protest is hitting resonate with a lot of hardworking non-bureaucrats/educrats here.

A later interview with the Ottawa police chief was again fairly positive; he noted that they’d had good discussions with the main protest organizers — though did warn that there might be malign “other social media actors” whatever that means.

  15. Speedy Gonzales, but very articulate and balanced. I saw someone earlier in comments (Hans?) mention something about trying to get through to his Aunt in BC what this is all about… maybe send her this? Lol.

  16. Listening to Brand reminds of the good old days; trying to play a record at the wrong speed. Man, he talks fast! 🙂
