    1. mature sane adults, Justin would not fit in with that group

On all 3 counts. He’s a 50-year-old spoiled brat. Thanks for nothing, Maggie.

    2. Trudeau should be tarred and feathered and run out of town. But in defense, he should stay the hell away from anything that demented fool Biden is involved with.

  1. Ukraine is a corrupt failing puppet state, and so is the US. Not sure if Justin is sitting this out or left out, but Canada is better off not poking the Russian bear. There is simply nothing in Ukraine for Canada.

  2. Chrystia Freeland, safe and sound in Ottawa, is the only important NATO official who is genuinely looking forward to another war with the “Siberian Mongols.”

This time, she’s sure, the Muscovites will be easily driven over the Urals because…who even knows, her only important advisors are the bottles of cheap vodka she uses as a substitute for food.

Justin does what Chrystia tells him.

A failed journalist with a drinking problem best known for her Nazi heritage and the lies she tells about Russians has nothing useful to contribute to a serious conversation about Europe’s fate. So she and her proxy the failed actor were not invited.

The Germans, some of them, learned their lesson last time and don’t want to be on the front line of someone else’s beef with Russia. The question is whether they can enjoy a lasting peace without the Americans going home and staying there.

      1. “Ukrainian” patriots like Chrystia.

They consider themselves the “real” children of “Kievan Rus,” a place many have never actually seen. The actual Russians are allegedly subhuman invaders, “Siberian Mongols” doing the dirty work of handrubbing Jews.

The Jews, of course, are responsible for everything bad that ever happened to poor Mother Ukraine—the Holodomor, Chernobyl, the Russian winter, you name it. Drive the Mongols back into Siberia, send the Jews to hell or Palestine, and nothing bad will happen to Ukrainians ever again.

I wish I were exaggerating. Even on SDA people with the sense and education to know better call Russians a “cancer,” that must be cut out of Europe if it is to survive. I expect such talk from Palestinian Arabs, not Canadians.

        1. “The actual Russians are allegedly subhuman invaders, ”
          Correct.

          “Siberian Mongols”
          Correct.

“… doing the dirty work of handrubbing Jews.”
Incorrect (that one exists only in your confused head).

        2. “The Jews, of course, are responsible for everything bad that ever happened to poor Mother Ukraine…”
          Nope russians are.

          “Holodomor,”
          That was russians.

          “Chernobyl,”
          Again russians.

          ” the Russian winter,”
Ukraine does not experience russian winter.

  3. Because he’s been compromised by some dirty little secret nasty habit by both Russia and China? And the USA knows it too.

Probably little boys and girls. Drama teacher dontcha know, eh what, say no more, say no more, a wink as good as a nod.

What, why can’t I make an awful statement like that without any evidence? it’s what Trudeau does about me and my guns and my energy usage.

  4. When even Dementia Joe figures out how utterly useless you are, maybe you should take heed.

  5. “Language such as ‘we are deeply concerned’ doesn’t reflect the outrage felt by most Ukrainian Canadians”

Canada is well-positioned to provide a concrete response – including providing weapons – due to the expertise it has built up by deploying Canadian Forces personnel, RCMP officers …

First off, and not to sound too harsh…but pick a country and run with it. The hyphenated Canadian b.s. is ok on a Legion sign but that’s the extent of it, you can’t be both. And as far as I know flights are still running in and out of Ukraine…enlist and knock yourself out.
And a big “no thanks” on your second request…160 Canadian men and women were killed in that god forsaken moonscape called Afghanistan, knowing the parents of two of them I can tell you it’s soul crushing, and veterans came home only to be gratuitously screwed over while multi million dollar payouts were awarded to those who wanted to kill them.
Play war with someone else’s kids, they aren’t your playthings just because you have the sadz. There is absolutely no upside becoming involved in a face off with two nuclear super powers.

There was a very strong anti war sentiment in the U.S. at the start of WW2 for a reason. Dealing with Europe’s homegrown psychopaths looked like it was becoming a habit.

    1. Exactly. Let the euro-trash hash this out on their own. Canada has absolutely NO interests in the Ukraine, our vile deputy PM’s nazi family origins notwithstanding. Not a single Canadian life for the Ukraine. Not one. And if the fifth generation Ukes in the prairies get pissy, fuck ’em. This is Canada, not a third rate, corrupt slavic shithole.

    2. Exactly.

Nobody stands to gain from the preservation of “Ukraine” but a few dozen Malorussian oligarchs—and they know that there will always be a place for them and their ill-gotten money far from Russian justice.

Only Chrystia and the grandchildren of a few unrepentant “Ukrainian” Jew-haters and Russophobes actually want war with Russia.

What to do? What we should have done in 1945—deport dodgy Ukrainian refugees to Russia to face whatever awaits them there, and don’t accept any more.

The Jews of Malorossiya aren’t the least bit concerned about the re-unification of Russia and aren’t applying for aliyah any more than usual. I’ll trust their judgement over Chrystia’s

    3. Part of American isolationism was built around the bogus Nye Report which claimed without any real evidence that American involvement in World War I was driven by American military industries.

    4. (applause)

It’s all very well and good to be wistful about one’s ancestors but one cannot serve two masters.

Even if Canada COULD contribute in a meaningful way, why should we?

    5. “Play war with someone else’s kids, ….”

Ok Cindy Sheehan. Nobody is sending any Canadian troops to Ukraine. Sending weapons and advisers to help Ukrainians bleed the Pootinista Junta is a great idea OTOH.

      1. I rather think Canadian troops are already there. Offspring’s friend had a tour there earlier this year.

        1. Yes there are some. A friend came back from there recently. But none plans to use them in combat. They were training the locals mostly on modern logistics and communication. Maybe there are some JTF2 operators poking around the danger zone but those guys are superheroes not line infantry. They know very well what they are doing, when to get out and what thy have signed up for.

None is contemplating sending regular forces to the front lines, and that is what counts. All these hysterics about blood of Canadian soldiers are just that, hysterics.

      2. “Nobody is sending any Canadian troops to Ukraine”

        Two comments later –

        “Yes there are some”

Hilarious. Anyways, I took a screenshot of your comment just in case things heat up.

        1. My argument should not be too difficult to keep up with, … well at least for anyone with an IQ above that of a garden gnome.

Here it is again for the cheap seats:
Nobody is sending Canadian troops to fight for Ukraine.

Sorry, I can’t make it any easier for you, I am all out of crayons.

          1. There are currently Canadian “troops” in the Ukraine you dumb bunny.
            Keep up.
            From the gov’t’s website: https://www.canada.ca/en/department-national-defence/news/2022/01/canada-extends-and-expands-military-and-other-support-for-the-security-of-ukraine.html
“This extension and expansion of Canada’s military presence in support of Ukraine will ensure that members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) will continue to provide enhanced military training and mentorship to Ukraine’s security forces through to the end of March 2025. “In the coming days an additional 60 troops will be deployed to Ukraine to join the approximately 200 women and men already on the ground, with the ability to increase the total number to 400 CAF personnel. “

            You’re being obtuse…is it intentional?

          2. You must be differently able. Read your own link they are there to:

“continue to provide enhanced military training and mentorship”

Not to fight the ruskies, you dumb twat. Their mission is several yours old. And it will continue even if Pootin carves up a part of Eastern Ukraine. None is sending troops to fight.

  6. When it comes to the Ukraine Canada is irrelevant on the world stage. They have no dog in this fight. That is why the Bong was not consulted.

    1. Canada wasn’t consulted because we have nothing to offer. Except pronouns, guilt, self-loathing and debt.

      1. Canadian forces are participating in NATO deployment in the Baltic States, are they not? Though most Americans do not know it, those who do greatly respect and appreciate
Canada’s commitment to a free and democratic Europe. I look forward to a commitment to a free Canada.

      2. Hey Trudeau, I know that Ukraine is asking Canada for weapons but how about first supplying arms to the Canadian Forces? Fighter jets, frigates, submarines, tanks, pistols ….. the long overdue incompetent Liberal procurement is appalling and growing. Oh yeah, besides dilapidated obsolete equipment the Forces are operating way below authorized strength. This needs fixing too.

  7. Any minute the Conservatives waste on this issue is a minute they should have been speaking out in support of the truckers and against all of Justin’s mandates, and all of the provincial mandates, etc.

That would of course imply that the Conservatives aren’t perpetually running scared of their own shadows, but we know that not to be true.

  8. At least the Conservatives are saying something. Most issues they could hammer Sockboy about they are completely silent.
Also have you ever noticed when a Liberal or a Democrat talks about “severe consequences” or “swift retaliation” that is usually code for “We’re not going to do bugger all”.

  9. The so-called Conservative party is irrelevant. The “leader” and the inner circle gambled that by abandoning it’s principles and moving to the Left, they would gain more GTA votes than they would lose by betraying their base. Let that sink in for a minute.

In doing so, the CPC has become the old Progressive Conservatives who were indistinguishable from the Liberals. Some of you will recall the old slogan: “Liberal/Tory- same ol’ story”.

Even die-hard CPC supporters are ashamed of the party, with many saying they can no longer “hold their nose and vote CPC”. Many have left the party that abandoned them, and joined the only conservative/libertarian party that remains: Max Bernier and the PPC.

  10. I’d suspect in order to be invited that you’d have to actually bring something to the table. The CAF is in a pitiful state and the few overseas military commitments we have right now have depleted the units that send folks out the door. Note that the Canadian military also has to be available for contingencies in Canada (think the recent flooding that occurred in BC) and if the troops and equipment are committed overseas–there will be very few to none available for the inevitable spring floods and summer forest fires that are annual events in Canada to which Canadian soldiers are expected by the populace to be present and helping in their time of need. Don’t blame the soldiers, blame the Canadian mindset that believes the military is nothing more than a bunch of social workers in uniform whose main job is to provide service for UN escapades and cheap manpower for floods, fires, provincial vaccinations, disaster relief to foreign countries, etc–instead of the people you call to kill the guys opposing you. It’s Canadian society that imposed that thinking on the bureaucrats and politicians–and the Canadian military reflects that thinking.

  11. “The Conservatives are questioning why Trudeau was left out of a meeting that U.S. President Joe Biden hosted on …”

I’m questioning why pinky & Co. are dealing with this chickenshit instead of questioning turdo about depriving Canadians of freedom.

    Yellow bastards.

  12. There can only be One King Clown, and that position had already been awarded to Biden.

Ukraine is just Wag the Dog, anyway; a distraction from a completely bankrupt domestic agenda.
