Vast Right Wing Conspiracy

Near future historians, if they’re allowed to write & speak, will severely condemn those who didn’t speak up against the tyranny being installed right now.

  1. Read “We” by the author Yevgeny Zamyatin. Interesting life story. A bolshevik in Tsarist Russia, then a fierce critic of Lenin and Stalin’s regime. The early anti-Soviet samizdat existed to publish his writings. He was “permitted” to leave the Soviet Union and lived in Paris, where he died in poverty in his early 50s.

“We” was published in the west in the early 1920s. It is early dystopian science fiction. It clearly influenced Brave New World, 1984, Ayn Rand’s Anthem, Kurt Vonnegut’s work, and several other significant work. Zamyatin wrote it as a reaction to communist terror, as well as in critical response to H.G. Welle’s scientific technocracy and Fabian socialism. We is a prophetic, but mostly unknown and obscure creation.

The rulers of OneState, the name of the totalitarian society in the novel, ultimately force devastating medical procedures on the population. The ruler is referred to as “The Benefactor”.

      1. Absolutely fascinating. Thank you!! I googled and also found an audiobook.

        1. D-503,
          Huge thanks.
          I missed that one.
Now in my Canon, alongside Rand, Vonnegut, Orwell, Bradbury, Huxley, Lewis, Stapleton, Milton, and some others, like the Gulag writer whose name I cant spell at the moment, but whom I want still to read. Not to mention some books of the Bible, like Ecclesiastes, the Gospels, etc.
Hey, can anyone please add to the list of essential ones, not the ephemeral kind. Maybe others like me would appreciate the recommendations.

          1. wiki says this:
Along with Jack London’s The Iron Heel, We is generally considered to be the grandfather of the satirical futuristic dystopia genre. It takes the modern industrial society to an extreme conclusion, depicting a state that believes that free will is the cause of unhappiness, and that citizens’ lives should be controlled.

We, the 1921 Russian novel, directly inspired:

Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World (1932)
            Vladimir Nabokov’s Invitation to a Beheading (1935–1936)
            Ayn Rand’s Anthem (1938)
            George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949)
            Kurt Vonnegut’s Player Piano (1952)
            William F. Nolan & George Clayton Johnson’s Logan’s Run (1967)
            Ursula K. Le Guin’s The Dispossessed (1974)
Ira Levin’s This Perfect Day (1992)

          2. Creepy Aldous Huxley refused to acknowledge his debt to Zamyatin’s We, unlike Eric Blair and Vonnegut. Ayn Rand was typically cagey about its influence, even though the novel was all the rage among the underground literati while she was a student at St. Petersburg/Petrograd. C. S. Lewis’s “That Hideous Strength” was probably also indebted to We. The writer Ursula K. Le Guin did not conceal her admiration. “‘We’,” she wrote, “is the best single work of science fiction yet written.”

There are several English translations. Zamyatin was by training an engineer. His Russian was epigrammatic, yet stylized. There is a recent translation written by a physicist that captures the essence of Zamyatin’s technical details. When you consider how large a genre dystopian science fiction is today, and that most of the standard tropes and ideas originated with We, it is astounding the work has essentially been forgotten and its author died in penurious obscurity.

    1. D-503:

Sounded familiar. I have a kindle sample of We.
I may not have even read the sample. I’m hot and cold on dystopian fiction. I’ll give it a look. Thanks.

  2. Germany and Austria are spear heading the tyranny, remove both governments using lawful means and the tyranny will end. The last time Austria and Germany united the world ended up with the Nazis.

  3. Please, explain again how the Russians are a cancer.

Because from my standpoint, the cancers guaranteed to kill any nation that does not cut them out are globalism and fascism with Chinese characteristics, which is slowly killing even China by making the Han so unhappy they’ve stopped reproducing.

The Russians are preparing to cut the cancer out and save Europe from its own elites—and not for the first time.

If Europe survives, those historians of the near future will credit Russia and Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin for her salvation.

    1. TWAT

The only reason you want to suck Puteen D**k, is because he trashes gays, so your stupid religious crap is the driving force of your posts in here. You should really go and seek professional help.

      1. Being the victim of one of your drive-by’s, NME, Me thinks that YOU’RE the one who may need help.

You may have serious psychological issues developing. You seem to think that anyone who doesn’t agree with your gay— ‘scuse me… HOMOSEXUAL agenda. (I’m taking back the word “gay” to mean “happy” as it was meant to be.) as religious zealot’s hell bent on turning western nations into some sort of Christian theocracy. Your choice of colorful language is a tell-all symptom.

As the idiom goes, “me thinks thou does protest too much.”

I don’t know if I agree with “the Awful Truth” or not, but I am willing to at least listen to his ideas, and not just dismiss his opinion as (unfounded) religious zealotry.

        1. “Being the victim of one of your drive-by’s, NME, ”

Sticks and stones, you’re not a victim.

And yes, Enema69 is an asshole, and yet his assessment of The Awful Truth (aka Strad aka Santa’s Ghost aka A Canadian aka Whatfuckingever) is correct. Incomplete, as there is much more to The Awful Truth’s derangement, but correct in this respect.

          1. Not a victim, eh?

            Maybe you haven’t seen this yet… https://www.smalldeadanimals.com/2022/01/23/florida-vs-quebec/#comment-1568355

I’m not letting that go without saying something, so if you’re going to say something about me saying something, that says something more about you than about me.

“All About Truth’s” love of Russia may be a little hard to swallow (see what I did there?), but I’m not going to simply dismiss his opinion as some kind of a religious hang up against ga– Sorry… Homosexuals.

          2. No, not a victim, like I said sticks and stone. Also no, I haven’t read his comment. I mostly ignore them and occasionally mock them.

    2. Yes Pootin is going to carve up another piece of Ukraine to save Germany from the social credit system. This must make perfect sense in your head.

      and save Europe”

Ah, UNME… I’ve been wondering where you were.

      1. I saw this and thought of you, Colonialista. An Englishman living in Russia, who actually knows some Russians, asks “Why do so many people hate Russians?”

        https://www.rt.com/russia/546919-russophobia-high-west-expectations/

His diagnosis: xenophobia and plain bigotry. I would add poorly disguised anti-Semitism, Russians proxying for Jews.

(Western governments have aggressively promoted the conspiracy theory that the Jews controlled the tsar before 1917, controlled the Bolsheviks in Soviet times and control Putin now. Of course, that couldn’t be farther from the truth.)

        1. I’ll listen to this kind of drivel when russians f*** off and leave their neighbors alone. “Demonization” of russians will not stop until then. They brought nothing but misery upon their neighbors and want to do it again. They’re proud of their past of subjugating Eastern Europe and want to do it again.

They cannot be separated from their dictators because they worship their dictators. Calling them apes or primates is an undue compliment.

P.S. As for anti-Semitism, none is more anti-Semitic than Siberian Mongols. As soon as Jews had a chance to leave russia most of them did.

“Western governments have aggressively promoted the conspiracy theory that the Jews controlled the tsar before 1917”

Hate to break it to you, but Protocols of Elders of Zion is a Tsarist forgery that was used as justification of countless porgroms in russia by russians of Jews. Pogrom is a russian word.

P.P.S. You speaking against Xenophoia is a sad pathetic joke. Konni.

        2. My theory is that the white progressives need someone to hate and the Russians are perfect because when hating them they can’t be called racists.
Same applies to Christians, Trump supporters and white males in general.

  4. Social credit scores, no thanks.
Mislav Kolakušić one politician who is speaking the truth about what going on. He’ll have the Left Wing politicians running for cover. Watch this, some in his COMMIE audience are squirming in their seats. Think he’s what we need in Canada?
    https://mobile.twitter.com/mislavkolakusic

    1. Watch Yuval Harari’s speeches at the Davos Conferences. He’s the darling of the archons behind the Great Reset. He reminds me of those great-brained architects of the scientifically perfect technocratic society. You know, the bolshevik paradises that murdered hundreds of millions.

      He’s one frightening pyschopath.

    2. Nancy Ross,

Brave, just like our Canadian Truckers! Thank goodness for political “opposition”. Our UCP MP’s working so diligently for their salaries and guaranteed pensions, should be taking note.

I am making informational stickers to place on empty store shelves to remind others who is really responsible for this situation. They feature my favourite picture of “black face” and the text “ I did this” May have to add Mr. Butt(head) to a few, since he seems to have a lot to say about this topic. Wouldn’t want to leave him out.

        1. Nancy Ross,

Sorry, Shawnessy is too far for me.

Where masks are required, I use a small piece of paper towel carefully cut to size and neatly print this text on it.
“You do know this is global
THEATRE OF THE ABSURD- PERFORMANCE ART?

Then I attach this paper text banner to the front of the mask with a dab of glue to both side edges. These get tons of odd looks and people following me around, so far no confrontations. I am hoping it plants the seeds of doubt. Not sure I am successful, but you never know.

        2. the seeds of doubt

@Em: the seeds of doubt surely require the growing medium of cognition and sanity to germinate…hope springs eternal.

But you’re a brave rebel, so I salute you.

        3. I get dirty looks from my fellow tenants, face-diapered, in my apartment building when I pass by them bare-faced.

Since they believe that wearing one will provide protection, why should they be worried about me? Maybe it’s a case of “I’m making the effort to look like a prat by wearing this horrible thing, so why aren’t you?”

      1. LOVE your sticker idea. Em. If you are willing to share them, perhaps we can get more people across the country to start using them.

        1. Mr. K.

It really doesn’t have to be complicated, a package of post-t notes and neatly print or glue on printed text with/without an appropriate image.

          ie:
          TRUDEAU
          DID THIS (with text only)

          I DID THIS! (with image)

Either way use a nice big arrow.

          Or

THANKS FOR NOTHING – ON OUR SHELVES.
          TRUDEAU (with/without image)

          Be creative!

Sorry, I do not have an IMGUR account to be able to share my sticker. This is another way to support our truckers!

  5. We have this on one hand and we have people giving all their personal information to Facebook and Apple on the other. Very confusing.

  6. I’m not sure what kind of life experiences you have had to make some pretty strong statements about an entire country of 140 million people. Yes there were very horrible things that took place in Russia specifically and all of Europe in general but what I have come to realize is that nothing is ever as simple as good vs evil or left vs right. This whole situation gives me pause and many things lead me to question the official narrative. 1. The media, Trudeau and The Biden regime all seem to back Ukraine. You remember the connections between the Bidens, the Clinton’s and Ukraine? 2. I have read several articles about Nazi’s taking over the Ukraine government and corruption that is running rampant in that government.
    3. It seems to me that there is a significant Russian population in Ukraine and if they choose to become part of Russia I’m not sure that anyone should stop their right to self determination. I recall several wars starting in Europe over the last couple hundred years to liberate populations cut off from their motherland.

I don’t have any answers to this situation but I always have more to learn so I would be interested in hearing what you have experienced to give you such strong opinions.

    1. “Yes there were very horrible things that took place in Russia specifically and all of Europe in general but what I have come to realize is that nothing is ever as simple as good vs evil or left vs right.”

No, you’re not going to get away with this. These weren’t random events happening out of nowhere. That was russians hurting their neighbors. And yes, it is as simple as good vs evil. For example sending hundreds of thousands of ethnic Poles to die in Siberia during the 19th century was very evil. Katyn massacres were very evil. Starving millions of Ukrainians in the 1930s was very evil. Starving Latvia was very evil. And the list goes on and on. Russians brought nothing but misery upon their neighbors and are proud of their past. Russian crimes inflicted on her neighbors dwarf by order of magnitude what neighbors have done to each other.

“1. The media, Trudeau and The Biden regime all seem to back Ukraine. You remember the connections between the Bidens, the Clinton’s and Ukraine? ”

And? This is the first fallacy. “Since Biden bad therefore Pootin good.” For historical parallel replace Biden with Hitler and Pootin with Stalin.

But since we’re checking memories here. Do you remember the connection between Clinton and Podesta Group and russian banks and Pootin? What? You don’t? Does not fit the narrative?

“2. I have read several articles about Nazi’s taking over the Ukraine government and corruption that is running rampant in that government.”

Ukraine has her own problems. Most exasperated by constant meddling from Kremlin. I have no love for Ukraine and especially for Ukrainian politicians. And Ukrainian fascists in the past has committed horrible atrocities which to this day mainstream Ukrainian media refuse to condemn, bah even worship the thugs responsible (look up Volynia Massacres for example). None of it is relevant or excuses Kremlin’s meddling. And no, NAZIS are not taking over Ukraine, that is paranoid bullshit.

“3. It seems to me that there is a significant Russian population in Ukraine and if they choose to become part of Russia …”

Then they should be marched at bayonet point to Ukrainian border. They’re nothing but remnants of occupation. Ethnic russians were settled in Ukraine (and many other occupied places) to dilute local blood and destroy the sense of nationhood of occupied people. Tsars did it, Soviets did it, no difference.

      1. I don’t think many would dispute that Russia had a horrible track record with its neighbours in the past. Same could be said about the Germans, Chinese and going back even further Spanish, French, English, Romans, Mongols, or even the Vikings. Please don’t forget that as brutal as the Russians were with their neighbours they (the communists within) were as brutal with their own people but that does not represent the entire population.

I am not a Putin apologist and would never insinuate that because Biden is bad that makes Putin good by default. They both can be degrees of bad. Aside from a few interviews I have watched of Putin I know very little about the man other than he seems to love his country and has an unwavering set of morals. I acknowledge that there is also wide spread corruption in the Russian government as there is in the US and many other countries. Again I am not sure that makes the larger population that suffer under its effects complicit in it.
My greater point is that I am skeptical of the narrative that we are being fed by the same people that have proven so unworthy of anyones trust. Putin has been in power a long time and has not invaded its neighbours with the exception of trying to put the Soviet Union back together.

Myself, I don’t think anything that is happening over there should justify the death of one Canadian or American soldier. I hope that cooler heads prevail but at this point anything is possible as Joe and the other tyrants in western democracies need something to divert the public’s attention from their own problems at home.

        1. “Same could be said ….”

No same cannot be said, that is just a lazy deflection. Yes you can draw a parallel between Pootinistan now and Chicoms now but other comparisons are false, lazy and out of historical context.

As for russians brutalizing other russians. I don’t care, let them deal with their own demons however they see fit. Just stay the fuck out of Eastern Europe. That is all I am asking.

As for NATO intervention now and the patented “blood of Canadian and US soldiers” argument, nobody is arguing for that. Only russians claim that there is a danger of it. Just like only russians claim that expansion of NATO was an offensive rather than purely defensive move. So it is not even on the table. Should it be on the table? In a sane reality, yes? But in a sane reality West would not be self castrating for decades. In an even saner reality russians would have been wiped out with nukes in the late 40s. John von Neumann was right about that too.
