Good Morning Ontario!

The vaccines, mandates, masks, and passport systems have been such a resounding success you get to start year 3 of the pandemic with another lockdown.

Global- Ontario moves schools to online learning, bans indoor dining and issues new COVID capacity restrictions.

In completely unrelated news a couple of days ago in Australia…

Update: How much thought did you put into this Doug?

133 Replies to “Good Morning Ontario!”

  1. If they said “flatten the curve” they’d risk getting jeered out of the room, even by our compliant, cheerleading media. For a while now, “blunt” is the new mantra.

    1. There has been “speculation” that the Omicron variant particle is smaller than previous versions, thus it goes through the masks unimpeded. Government research could easily confirm/deny this “speculation” but all we hear is crickets.

I wonder if the various Schools of Medicine will take up the Omicron challenge and divulge the size of the Omicron variant particle.

Maybe if everyone ignores this, people will continue to wear N90 & N95 masks thinking they are being saved…

      1. “There has been “speculation” that the Omicron variant particle is smaller than previous versions . . .”

It is exactly the same size as previous versions, thus it goes through the masks unimpeded.
Masks filter spit and snot. They do not filter even the largest virus.

        1. Exactly, the width of a virus is about 120 nanometer. That is 120 meter divided by 1 billion. A hair’s width is about a thousand times wider than a virus. The only thing that will protect against viruses is a hazmat suit with gas mask with active carbon filters replaced hourly. Wearing a mask against viruses is a sad fucking joke. And it is even counterproductive. An average human being touches his face around 1000 times a day. The masks trap bacteria (which are much larger than viruses) and dirt and crap.

          1. “The masks trap bacteria . . .”

But at least they provide a warm, moist environment for the bacteria to optimally live and reproduce, so we’ve got that going for us, which is nice.

            Breath deep.

          2. People need to stop this comparison as it make us sound stupid.

It doesn’t matter how small a virus particle is because viruses don’t travel by themselves. They infect cells, and those cells are shed in clumps (skin, etc) or through aerosolized droplets of sweat, saliva or other body fluids. Those clumps/droplets/media are orders of magnitude larger than a virus, large enough to be stopped by a cloth weave mask.

Masks don’t work not because droplets and skin cells can penetrate the weave – they can’t – but because cloth/paper masks are not skin-tight, N95 masks have exhaust valves because their purpose is to protect the wearer rather than those around them, and a host of other reasons that mean masks are ineffective at stopping the spread of the media the virus lives in.

If you respond to a mask Karen with this bollocks about the size of virus particles you’ll be laughed out of the room if anyone there knows anything about cell biology.

          3. They provide a direct route into your respiratory tract for the virus. In other words they actually help you get infected.

          4. Oh, dear….. resorting to scientific facts again. Don’t you know that it’s only your opinion? Or so I was told by a tantrum-throwing Karen last year.

      2. MASKS DON’T WORK!

        Get that through your heads!

With mask mandates in place, and dirty, diseased heathen unvaxxed banned from society, the disease STILL SPREADS AND INFECTS!

        Incompetence or an organized Agenda?

Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, three times is ENEMY ACTION.

      3. Masks do dick all. They are a symbol of compliance, just like the muslim hijab. The Omicron would probably, in any other normal year, be considered a cold.

    2. “…compliant, cheerleading media.”

It’s an election year here in Ontario. Which means that the compliant, rah rah media will turn on Doug’s fat, white “conservative” ass. They still hate him, the difference so does anybody who would vote conservative.

prediction: It will be a blood bath possibly unlike anything you’ve seen, and Ontario may never recover from the Ford years.

Hey Doug, close it all down, it doesn’t matter because Amazon will deliver a bucket of tar and a big bag of feathers right to your door.

  2. ENOUGH, for fuck’s sake. Omicron is not the black plague or the Spanish flu, let alone Ebola. The people whose sole reaction seems to be let’s try all the measures that failed before because we’re sure they’ll work this time should be acquainted with tar and feathers. I wish I could say Doug Ford should look for a new job, but the alternatives are a million times worse, which tells you how deep Ontario has dug its grave.

F’king Canadian pussies. I cannot adequately express the contempt I hold for the frightened rabbits who pollute this vast land.

    1. I am surprised Global News allowed dissent within the ranks in the comments section.
ALL commentaries are against this lockdown , seems a lot of folks are pissed.
The comments are like those in here , gives me some hope.

Here’s to another 2 weeks to flatten the you know what.
2 weeks, 2 weeks , cue the fat lady from Arnold’s ” get your azz to Mars.”

      https://youtube.com/watch?v=XY5KTVA_2ys

      ” Get ready for a surprise “

      1. I saw a glo-bull report at noon today, and my reaction was a raised left-eyebrow a-la Mr. Spock. Fascinating. There appears to be a shift in the narrative — albeit a small one. There has been more exposure to protests and more on-the-spot interviews of people ridiculing the new measures.

    2. Omicron is not the black plague or the Spanish flu, let alone Ebola.

It is the Black Plague or equivalent because the state tells you it is.

      1. Jawohl!

And I vill Sieg Heil, Sieg Heil, right in der Fuhrer’s face!

    3. The issue is all about the number of people panicking and going to the emergency room when they just have the sniffles.

It’s been happening forever with our “free” healthcare system. Emergency rooms are filled with people who don’t need to be there.

I wonder if we can ever get back to “it’s just a cold, stay home and drink plenty of fluids and take Aspirin”.

    4. F’king Canadian pussies. I cannot adequately express the contempt I hold for the frightened rabbits who pollute this vast land.

The most disturbing thing to me about this pandemic is not the realization that Canadians are pig-f*cking stupid and will mindlessly believe and repeat the most shamelessly transparent lies as long as they come from the All-Knowing, Wise and Benevolent Government. I’ve known that for years.

What disturbs me is the sheer number – possibly a majority – of Canadians who would gladly say “yes, oberstleutnant, they’re in the attic” if it meant they got to preen on social media.

      1. Must agree Daniel, I’m quite disgusted with the number of people of my acquaintance who KNOW BETTER and are going along anyway.

How many people do you know who would drop a dime on you? I used to think that number was very small, but now I figure it is around a third to a half. Welcome to Nazi Germany, 2022 Edition.

  3. Well Dear Leader Adolf The Magnificent doesn’t seem to be worried. He’s still at Harrington Lake.

    1. Kenney folded long ago. He has washed his hands of any responsibility, entrusting everything to an unelected bureaucratic doctor who has not had contact with any real life patients in years, if ever. Hinshaw’s only concern is to keep the health care system from collapsing completely. What none of them cannot understand is that it already has. This “pandemic” has simply exposed the rot within that has been there for years. Omicron just went through our immediate and extended families. Some of the unvaccinated did not get sick, the other few had only a mild illness lasting no more than two days. All of the vaccinated got ill – mild as well. Interesting that now the mainstream media in the states is beginning to admit that those cheap cloth and paper masks did not work, Hinshaw is now going to provide “medical grade” masks to schools. None of them understand anything about how PPE works. It is a sick society that will destroy their children’s present and future. I am hoping that there is a small light that will continue to grow – one close family member in the nursing profession who was an absolute adherent to masking and vaccines has done a 180. They are now admitting that the current rules have nothing to do with science. Hopefully more will begin to wake up.

      1. Hinshaw’s only concern is to keep the health care system from collapsing completely. What none of them cannot understand is that it already has.

It was already a train wreck when His Ralphness tried to “reform” it nearly 30 years ago. The result was that he succeeded in making a mess even worse. (Can everybody say “Capital Health Authority”?)

      2. Hudson,
You are correct, “ It is a sick society that will destroy their children’s present and future.”

This year those of us who have watched passively on the side lines for the past 2 years, need to become reacquainted with our backbones. Remaining silent is NOT a neutral stance. Dr. Jordan Peterson explained the biggest lesson to be learned from the Second World War to his students, was “that we are the Nazis”.

If we refuse to stand up against totalitarian measures being enforced without so much as a whimper, he may be correct.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead

  4. The world is out of sync. In recent days there has been the start of “the great pull-back” where mayors such as NYC’s Adams (and other politicians, not medical experts) are calling for a “back-to-work” and “you can’t run a city from home” appeal to ready the public for the “end-of-Omicron”. This will get going in Canada, probably by March.

The end (of covid) is near.

    1. The Democrats in the U.S. are only ‘pulling back’ in a vain attempt to save their prospects in the upcoming midterms. All politics, no science involved.

    2. Funny… I’ve been reading reports saying that the new NYC mayor is maintaining all the covid protocols, including vaxports, from the previous administration.

As much as I would like to agree with you… It still looks like more of the same to me.

      1. As one example, today on Bloomberg, the new NYC mayor says “we have to learn to live with covid”.

        https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2022-01-03/we-have-to-learn-to-live-with-covid-nyc-mayor-adams-video

He wants the kids back in school. Largest school system in the USA.

He only wants testing strategically, when they are needed. One diagnosis of covid – they want to close the entire school. Not any more.

He says just because you get vaccinated doesn’t mean you won’t get covid.

These are major shifts in the messaging. “We have to keep going. We can’t shut the city down”.

    3. I have kept a nice, long list. There has been a brutal re-alignment among friends and family. There has been re-alignment at work. There is realignment politically, in cities, districts.

Subtle “soft sabotage” and legal vengeance is in the air. Things are not going back to the way they were. Loyalty and support takes years to build. It is entirely gone now. And vengeance is a dish best served cold. Ice cold. Patiently.

VaxxiNazis, brace yourselves. Legal payback is coming.

    4. Adams said he would not roll back any of De Blasio’s mandates. So there’s that. This is so much Boomer email tier nonsense in these comments. Get your info from somewhere else besides Fox News folks.

  5. Government employees not going to miss a paycheck – as long as people remain insulated from this stupidity it will continues.
The only herd immunity we seem to have achieved is that of fear and compliance.

    1. Jimmy can’t read.
“Most of the claims for deaths being filed are not classified as COVID-19 deaths, Davison said.”

      1. I didn’t say anything about covid, dipshit.

The point, if you can manage to think at all, is that deaths are up despite, or possibly because of, the vaccinations.

    2. Also for the vaxxed Jimmy’s of the world:
“The number of hospitalizations in the state is now higher than before the COVID-19 vaccine was introduced a year ago, and in fact is higher than it’s been in the past five years, Dr. Lindsay Weaver, Indiana’s chief medical officer, said at a news conference with Gov. Eric Holcomb on Wednesday.”

That’s some stellar work right there from Pfizer, Moderna and the gang….

      1. Yeah, and the deaths rise and peak, a few weeks after your poison shots.

        Cause, effect.

Read the whole article, not just an item or two and deflect into your paranoid, totalitarian virtue signalling, DJ.

        1. No real increase in deaths Canada-wide beyond the natural (long term) increase due to an ageing population. You would think with all the vaccinated dropping like flies there would be an increase (a big jump from 2019). All those people jammed full into ICUs dying because their vaccinations caused covid. Yet no overall increase. It is a quandary.

          https://www.statista.com/statistics/443061/number-of-deaths-in-canada/#:~:text=Published%20by%20Statista%20Research%20Department%2C%20Dec%2010%2C%202021,in%20Canada%20from%202001%20to%202021%20%28in%201%2C000s%29

          1. Or you would think that with all of the Un Vaccinated dying there would be a big increase too. Vaxxed or Unvaxxed, very little increase. There is a slight uptick but I can see why the funeral homes aren’t overrun.

          2. Hmm, I have to finish off 2021 but the little statistical project I did using selected funeral homes would beg to differ. 2021 vs 2020, obituary notices up 11%. 2021 vs 3 yr average of 2018 through 2020 up 18%, 2021 vs 2018 (precovid) up 20%. Many factors are at play besides covid. Suicides are up, social anxieties are off the chart. Drug and alcohol abuse plus other abuses. Omicron, it may be mostly sniffles but we are having a good friend buried this coming Saturday who came down with it. The real corker is with all the hospital restrictions the family will never know if he received proper care. Of course, what I have seen through this site and others with similar sentiments it is highly probable with the Ontario hospital system it would be reasonable to assume that more could have been done to bring our friend through this health issue

    3. Especially that even considering the worst of times, deaths in this age group should not have exceeded 10% at most.

Something is definitely up, RN. We’re talking general cases here. I maintain, even among the worst situations, the rate should not have been more than 10%.

  6. The vaxx works….provided you destroy the economy and prohibit normal human interaction in tandem.

  7. Remind me, what’s the definition of insanity? FFS, I despise this province and this country.

    1. A few weeks ago Dr Jordan Peterson was interviewed by Dave Rubin. He claims to know one of Ford’s policy advisors. The PA admitted no policy based on science, all driven by polls.

      1. You don’t need make-your-bed, clean-your-room Doctor Peterson to know this. For Christ’s sake boomers…

    1. Somehow I envision Ford as Fat Basturd from Austin Powers , slathering Chettos dust all over his disgusting naked putrid body screaming to the electorate ” do you fancy some of this Missy ” in the obligatory Scottish accent.

    1. And they’ll act shocked when and if someone hits back.

  8. Looks like they got a bunch of Jimmys in the latest poll they used to set their “policy”.

  9. A few postulates to consider:

    1. It has been long-rumored, and buttressed by leaks from bureaucrats, that the Ontario government is making Covid policy not based on science, but PURELY on the results of public opinion polling

    2. Assuming postulate #1 is correct, what if the public – upon whose opinion policy is based – are in the midst of a collective, irrational moral panic regarding Covid (known in psychology as “Mass Formation Psychosis”)

    3. What if there is a feedback loop at work here – i.e., the public’s overreaction to Covid causes the government to enact even more draconic Covid policies which causes the public to become even more frightened, leading to even more draconian measure ad infinitum?

    Seems plausible to me.

Interesting vid from Professor Mattias Desmet of Ghent University in Belgium who discusses the concept, causes and symptoms of Mass Formation. I don’t think it explains all of what we are seeing in Ontario – (i) the deflection of political blame and avoidance of legal liability (apparently at ANY cost) and (ii) Covid overreaction as progressive/Canadian virtue-signaling are also key factors in my opinion – but it’s something worth seriously considering. And NO, I don’t think that the Reichstag is on fire so I’m pre-emptively denying Godwin’s Law. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLDpZ8daIVM

    1. The federal Libranos have already been found to decide policy by poll. PM Shit-for-brains said last January that covid passports were divisive. What’s he say now?

      1. But they are divisive. Didn’t you hear what he said about those who don’t want to get juiced? They’re racists and misogynists.

The point of his statement was to single out the resistors and beat them into submission with everyone else.

Then things will go back to normal. (Yeah, right.)

    2. Even long before COVID, Canadians have had it drilled into them that our single tier universal healthcare system is the best in the world and it’s the one and only thing that keeps every Canadian alive and immortal for oh the live long day.

Now all we hear is that everything must be done to protect said healthcare system because it’s under grave threat from the new flu.

Hence, all/most/enough Canadians are terrified that said healthcare system will collapse, and as soon as it does each and every one of them will be consigned to a horrible death or worse, the advent of a 2-tier healthcare system.

It’s no wonder the opinion polls that are driving Ford Policy(TM) are full of nothing but fear and terror.

So yes, Eric, more than plausible, it’s assured.

      1. If we’re correct, this forces one to ask the question: what is the endgame here? (And I’m quite prepared to believe that there is none – that what we’re seeing here is a bunch of directionless, dim-witted muddling-through; although it DOES make one wonder sometimes!)

        1. Endgame is worldwide depopulation.
Then merge what’s left with silicon.
Final plan is no carbon life on Earth.

That’s the Coles Notes version, or would you like the longer one ?

          1. If you were going to depopulate the Earth – a noble cause – why would you ignore China, India, and all of Africa? Over 2/3 of the world’s population.

          2. Read UN Agenda 2021 and 2030 Steve.
            It’s a roadmap.
I also check out the altar they worship at, Georgia Guidestones.
When certain people tell me they have a PLAN , I tend to believe them.

Your welcome to drink whatever Koolaide that tickles your fancy.

  10. Failed state led by idiots empowered by losers within a post-faux nation of cowards and globalist pedos.
We need a whole lot of bus-sized meteor strikes to take out every legislature, council, hospital & skool board and planning committee when they’re all fully attended.
    So basically a miracle.

  11. As soon as the Trudeau government announced they had a multibillion dollar lockdown fund in the budget, it was 100% certain that there would be more lockdowns. Remember how much fraud there was last time? How much money went to people who didn’t need it? This is a feature not a bug…follow the money.

  12. How much thought did you put into this Doug?

It’s not his job to think. The 300 lb. muppet does what he’s told.
Further – I talked to a few GTA’ers over the holidays. A mix of Boomers, millenials, gen Z types or whatever the hell they are, it’s clear to me now more than ever that a fence needs to be erected around that whole district where they can all bask together in the gloriousness of being Covid lockdown poodles.
Someone should phone up water treatment and tell them to dial back the fluoride.
Good Grief. What pathetic excuses for men.

  13. FORD is a complete Fking IMBECILE…just like the rest of Canada’s ASSHOLE premiers.

Yr 3 of the same Bullshit that did absolutely SWEET FUCK ALL to “end Covid”…which due to it being in the Animal Kingdom as a whole can NEVER EVER be “eradicated”.

How long will it be before the IGNORANT STOOPID HERD Wakes the F up.??? I don’t see any cracks whatsoever in my family, they are all “MASK Up” & Marching Forward Headstrong in their “belief”..!! god forbid anyone questions the Govt.!!
It is they who keep the Charade/SCAM going

And still not a peep about Vitamin D nor about the disappearance of Influenza A/B, Seasonal Flu or the common Cold….not one DRONE questioning that. absolutely unreal.

SICKENING – and downright depressing…the STOOPID is strong in them all.

  14. The other night I was thinking that the penultimate chapter — “Why the Worst Get on Top” — in Friedrich Hayek’s book The Road to Serfdom is manifest and become flesh.

Resolution: Let us at SDA never again refer to these people as “elites”.
The word denotes oustanding achievement. Thanking you in advance for your forbearance I will flag every use until it disappears.

Paul McCartney is an elite musician and songwriter. CORRECT
Doug Ford and J. Trudeau are the elites. WRONG
    The Laurentian elite. WRONG.

    1. To get to the top in government you f*ck up everything. You cannot be fired so you get promoted. Eventually you completely f*ck up your way to deputy minister.

      1. ” Yes Minister ” and ” Yes Prime Minister ” from the exalted BBC , were manuals, not for entertainment.

  15. Mein Doug in the Headlights only had to say that it’s nothing to be concerned about and if you feel sick just stay home and you’ll be better in 2-5 days. Only visit the hospital if you are seriously ill.

That would alleviate pressure on the “health” care system.

Instead he used words like “catastrophic”.

Yeah, that should calm the fears of a spineless population.

      1. We have a vax pass, and everything that requires us to show it is now closed, thus rendering the vax pass pointless.

The optimist in me thinks that it may be a way of removing the pass by simply making it irrelevant, and when they eventually (like, in the spring when flu season is over) open up again, the vax pass won’t be a requirement. That way they won’t have to admit the pass is a failure, and deeply unpopular.

  16. The “Policy driven by Polls” is a canard. That is an excuse and a ruse so people don’t give too much thought to the fact this was/is planned. Every last policy aspect of it. Wargamed.

These policies were baked into the cake and are being driven by globalists led by Schwab, Soros, Gates et al.

This is the endgame. Totalitarianism. Its all or none for them and nothing short of national revolt (which looks bleak) is going to stop them.

  17. ” A couple of days ago in Australia”

A few days ago I had some business to attend to in person with local government. In both the City Hall and County Building there were new, never seen before, security stations to pass through to enter the buildings.

Ostensibly it was for the purposes of contract tracing, but the metal detectors are not there to filter viruses.

  18. Our healthcare system has done nothing to fortify itself over the last 2 years?.. OmiCON by all accounts is a mild seasonal flu.. This makes no sense..

    1. “…this makes no sense…”

Unless you consider what the objective really is, and then it makes a whole lot of sense.

I can tell you without hesitation that the objective is not to safeguard the population against the virus.

  19. I have noticed an uptick of those at The Real Canadian Superstore not wearing masks, in both Calgary and Edmonton (where I work atm) … I asked a guy a year ago (and another at KMS Tools) what the reaction was to this and both were fully prepared with “fuck off” and a short spiel on liberty and freedom as the default response to someone telling them to put a mask on.

And I suspected they’ve already heard of SDA, and True North, as the guy at KMS Tools mentioned The Rebel…

    1. In Vancouver an hour ago, shopping at one of the four foodstores I frequent. Nice Chinese lady said, “Sir do you need a mask?”. From me, no liberty rant, just a polite, “Oh no thanks, I’m not wearing a mask amymore”. Her: “Oh, okay”. Same store, much busier a couple weeks ago I had 6 contacts with mask pushers, 3 staff 3 customers. Stood my ground but very uncomfortable.

I’m a leper, not a lot I can do. But I can do this. I was the sole full face there.

      1. I’ve gone into the Save-On Foods in Fort St. John without a mask over my face and I’m not the only one. Nobody, including staff, said anything about it.

      2. Good for you. I don’t see that happening where I shop (Ottawa). The stores all have signs on the doors about masks required. I do manage to pull mine away from my face frequently, so I can breathe. If anyone complains, I have my response ready : It’s ok, I only do it when I am breathing in. “

  20. Just listened to a statement from the CEO of One America, Scott Davison. He states that the unaccountable rise in death rates resulting in increased costs to the insurance industries will be off-loaded to companies in counties with low “vaccination” rates. He also stated that there has been a rise in disability claims. This has had the insurance actuaries burning the midnight oil as the figures are coming from the third and fourth quarterly numbers from last year. The time frame is extremely alarming since these figures correspond to the six month delay since the “vaccines” were rolled out.
If the insurance companies can weasel out of paying the claims benefits it will result in a major hit to the future of the insurance industry. Who will buy insurance if there is no guarantee of ever redeeming the policy. If they can’t weasel out of payments the government will have to bail them out, if that happens how many more trillions of dollars will governments indebt us for. I don’t believe this to be a case of unintended consequences. The actuaries have worked out all the numbers for the powers that be, they are gambling that incremental force applied a quarter turn at a time will be tolerated by the masses.
The “vaccines” may have been developed to return mankind to the three-score and ten life expectancy, however it would seem that a goodly number of people have died earlier than expected due to adverse reactions to the “vaccine”. If the numbers stated by America One hold steady in the next six months then there will be a day of reckoning and retribution.

    1. Davison is not saying that the company wants to avoid payouts but he is saying that premiums for life insurance and disability will be going up.

  21. While data from other countries shows that omicron is quite mild with far fewer hospitalization, Ontario modeling shows 2,000 hospitalizations per day.
    Three possibilities:
    1. Ontarians are a different species.
    2. Ontario’s modeling is utter BS.
    3. Ford is so afraid of the teachers (people who by and large don’t vote for him) that he’ll glom onto anything to keep them happy (and they still won’t vote for him.)

    1. ALL MODELING IS UTTER BULLSHIT.

I learned this a long LONG time ago in the investment buiness. I can still recall my epiphany when I read the excitable claim from some market forecasting service, “back tests perfectly”. Uh, well, yes, the model was built using that data.

      1. All modelling is only useful within its design criteria. The Geologic models I work with are with about 5% of reality on total recoverable coal. That’s close enough for planning purposes. As most data (read as “blasthole contacts”) are added, the models are updated to within 1%.

The levels of ineptitude in modelling the spread or results of viral spreading would not be accepted in resource extraction because even though all models are wrong, some are close enough to reality to be useful. The viral models are not even wrong.

  22. I have school aged kids in Ontario. Local school board sent me a letter yesterday, Jan. 2, jointly signed by Ontario’s minister of education (Lecce) and the medical health officer (Moore). In it they said “in-person education is critical to the mental health, development and well-being of children and youth” and that students “will return to in-person learning on January 5, 2022”.
Today, Jan. 3, ford cancels school. They are sadists.

    1. The PCs of Ontario must go go. Vote/donate/work for New Blue or Randy Hiller’s party. Anything but Ford. Best thing, a hung parliament. They are a useless appendage anyway..

      1. Don’t forget the Ontario Party, headed by Derek Sloan, with Rick Nicholls as their one sitting MPP.

The problem here is just that there are (at least) three alt right parties, which will split the vote and thus neuter all of them. If they parked their egos and joined in one alternative party, with sitting MPPs (at least three of them, which makes them bigger and stronger than the Greens), they stand a chance of making an impression. At the very least, it will be impossible to exclude them from a leaders’ debate.

  23. Canadians have been letting this happen for nearly three years now.

If they feel tired of not letting teachers baby-sit their kids and not being able to go to restaurants, where was their rebellious vigor before?

    1. Well yeah, however call a spade a spade.
      It’s 2 years completed and we’re starting number 3.
      But I feel ya.
It certainly feels like 3 years.

  24. Doug Ford has turned into a talking head. Maybe he always was one. These are not his decisions, but he is too dumb to know how to challenge them. I don’t know what it will take to penetrate the walls of obtuseness. I am about to give up.

  25. Thanks for posting Duff Ford’s speech. He spent all of 30 seconds on his decisive decision to use every tool in the toolbox, and it shows. Peasant. Vote New Blue or the Randy Hillier’s party if you can guys. Ford is toast.

  26. Meanwhile Covid hospitalizations are up 50% in 5 days across Canada. I believe most provinces have moved away from “hospitalizations with Covid” to “hospitalizations due to Covis” but I could be wrong.

Total hospitalizations deserves a look but would be skewed by cancelled surgeries.

    1. Two things: hospital capacity is a problem for the people who are paid to run the hospitals to solve. It is not up to a restaurant owner to offer up his business for destruction in order to solve a problem with hospital capacity.

The medical authorities have had 21 months to figure out what to do about this. If they have no clue by now, this is not about science but about gross incompetence.

      1. The focus has been on specialized ICU capacity. Unfortunately non ICU hospitalizations will probably have a stronger effect on cancelled tests/procedures/surgeries than ICU hospitalizations.

      2. Excellent point Dennis. Chicoms could build a hospital in a few days, for thousands, suffering from the original (i.e. somewhat dangerous) strains, while our betters feel it is cheaper to just shut down the economy and watch suicides and drug overdoses skyrocket again.

      3. When the first ‘surge’ came about Western Fairgrounds in London, Ontario was set up as a field hospital. My niece in law was integral in getting it functioning. Never say a patient if I recall. Have any other ministries in Ontario been asked to redeploy staff to help ‘this healthcare crisis’. Not that I know of. Oh, they can find enough bureaucrats to staff enforcement teams to chase down businesses not complying with mask bylaws. And my MPP, Monte McNaughton, can crow about hiring 300 inspectors to crack down on businesses regarding health and safety regulations. All the while dismissing trained staff from the hospital system. What a crock.

    2. That’s some vax you promote, with a developing negative VE, that will require some serious mental contortions.

    3. but I could be wrong.
      ***********************

Could be? When are you NOT!.
You should join Biden team when it comes to disinformation. You are the best.

  27. I wrote to the Premier’s Office. You fill in a form and I selected *Problem as the type of contact. Subject header of contact form: The Premier

Then I wrote him some advice. 🙂 I suggest all Onatrians do. Ontario-a-go-go.

    1. I have a better idea.
Visit outside his home , early in the morn with a bullhorn.
That works better than any email some mandarin will delete first.

  28. The socialist government will always enslave its people before it will allow a government program like universal health care to fail.. Failure is not a option but a police state is.. None of it is a choice ??.. A 30 second no brainer??..

??.. Our government? panics the public over a flu with a 99.7%+ survival rate so 10% of the population runs to emergency when they get a runny nose.. ??

Then we get locked down to prevent emergency from being overrun.. Its insane.. We are being played..

  29. What are the numbers on people who don’t belong in the hospital being turned away.. Is it racist tell a non white person to go home?.. Or do they admit them for observation (not racist) when they really shouldn’t..

Either they have forgotten how to do their jobs or they have greatly expanded what their job is..
Lost in some computer model where the biggest panic gets the most money??.. This can’t be a fundraising nightmare?..

Two thing I know for sure.. Ford is a idiot and I want out..

  30. He said he thought about the decision for about 30 seconds. I suggest Ford is the tool in the toolbox. I voted for this guy so I guess I’m the second tool in the tool box. Fouck when does this CCP charade end?

    bverwey

  31. Blubber Douggie showed his yellow and green streaks long before the election. You guys were just blinded by the light and weren’t paying attention to the bells and whistles.

  32. So are all the liberals thrilled with Ford now? He’s Juthtin’s ugly fat brother. They ought to be. What would they have done differently?

  33. Commie fascist governments never admit to mistakes, even when proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. They just double and triple down. That is why the narcissistic sociopaths are doing what they do.

  34. I believe martial law is the next step in Ontario.

This virus has never been about public health. Public health services are non existent since 2020 January. Now they fired 10,000 public healthcare worker for noncompliance with vax mandate and they did so even without provincial order. Have you seen Pearson airport? They handcuff and arrest people for no reason. They converted the half of Terminal 1 into a ‘testing’ facility, where they employ the lowest of the scums to test people. They are paid $40 hourly and none has any medical training. Passengers are coming out with bleeding noses. The municipal police forces are armed to the teeth in Ontario. The police forces are bulked up with the recruitment of the lowest of the scums. They are pampered with a minimum wage of 150k. They openly flex muscles with deploying 5 to 10 police cruisers for no apparent reason. Toronto has deployed drones. Halton has armored riot vehicles. All Halton police cruisers were replaced with mostly unmarked SUVs with tinted windows min 4 cameras on the roof. They carry machine guns. Why??

    1. Remember, there are MORE of US , then there are of THEM.
WE just need to retrieve our BALLS from our women folk’s purses.

  35. Well, sports fans, get ready for Premier Andrea Horvath later this year. She’s the only one who can beat Doug. Then remember Bob Rae’s destructive tenure and kiss your ass goodbye. All any NDP government can ever do is destroy everything productive members of society have built. At this point in my life, watching my home province self destruct until nothing is left but rubble counts as entertainment. Watching Toronto burn would be sublime.

  36. A few weeks ago Dr Jordan Peterson was interviewed by Dave Rubin. He claims to know one of Ford’s policy advisors. The PA admitted no policy based on science, all driven by polls.
