    1. I’ve seen it and the movie directed by John Carpenter.

Neither of them come close to The Thing From Another World, directed by Christian Nyby and an uncredited Howard Hawks. I mean, who can resist a flick about a walking vegetable played by James Arness?

        1. You wanna see some NASTY BUGS that’ll creep you right out is seeing a fishing net pulled out with these big parasites eating them alive by the billions as all the fish in this huge net being eaten alive.
I saw this on one of the ocean fishing shows…nasty.

        1. I watched it earlier in the evening. It reminded me of why I disliked The Thing. It relies too much on graphic violence and gore to make its point.

TTFAM is much more subtle than that. One aspect that makes it a better movie is what it doesn’t show, letting the viewer fill that in, and, thereby, building tension.

  1. Well if they aren’t dangerous apparently the Wuhan lab can fix that with Fauci’s funding.

  2. Why is a Chinese communist still working in US bio-labs? West China indeed – it’s Tibet.

    1. Yep! The place has been COOLING since the day it coalesced out of the cosmic dust cloud orbiting old Sol.

The conveniently-located therm-nuclear device in the sky just keeps of mostly habitable and “mostly harmless”.

How many Ice Ages have occurred?

BTW, we are STILL coming out of the last one, so I guess that MAY be interpreted as “warming”.

      1. Bruce, I once heard this analogy….

Climate computer models that don’t factor in the sun are like calling out the HVAC serviceman when you have no heat, and he inspects everything but the furnace.

    2. Yep, same here Warren.

I have and continue to have a hard time buying that preposition..
IN fact I’d argue that we are going in the EXACT opposite direction. One look at what is happening with our Planetary magnetic field plus the utter lack of SunSpot Activity…yea, things are cooling off.

This years winter being a pretty good example of things to come I'd say…

  3. Ice is melting as the world heats up is the very first thing I see, so it starts out with a bald faced stupid woke lie. I stop reading immediately, why bother, I can no longer trust anything the article says.

The temperature has been measured, the world is heating up only 1/3 as much as predicted. In scientific terms, that is called falsification, the theory of “global warming” is falsified.

The ice has been measured, the total amount of ice has remained the same (90% of it is in Antarctica, where it is increasing).

I mean what next, “penguins in Antarctica are dying out” (the penguin population remained the same), “children in the UK will never know snow” (that winter the entire country was snowed in, they had too little salt for the roads because stupid people believed the hype), or my personal favorite, where birds on a mountain were said to be unable to outrun the warming, lucky for them they had another means of getting around, duh!

When an article starts out with a phrase that proves the writer knows noting about science, and furthermore is willing to lie, I consign it to time wasting clickbait status.

    1. All in an effort to sell you wind turbines and solar panels to power our Electric Vehicles which our politicians are all in on even though our current power grid and massive infrastructure changes has to take place.
This will epically fail as even the manufacturers are opting out as they know it won’t work.
Only our governments agencies and politicians can afford this through credit borrowing.

Charging your EV at night on a Solar grid is actually quite funny if our politicians didn’t take this seriously.
Thank China for this big push as we’d have to import EVERYTHING.

      1. Imagine this, you embark on two policies simultaneously. One reduces the amount and reliability of electricity generation, the other increases the demand for electricity. Failure is built in.

        1. One more SDA comment that’s going on the fridge in the shop. Thank you Robert.

    2. Years past, I used to enjoy reading articles at IFLS. Then she went full-retard on the warming…it was everywhere. So I bailed and don’t go there any more, unless I don’t check the link before clicking. At best, it’s now just a way to see what the other side is up to.

  4. “These glaciers were formed gradually . . .”

So what you are saying is that it used to be a lot warmer?

  5. This sounds like gentle seed planting for when the Chinese send over another virus. They can’t use the “wet market” cover to dupe us again,
But a global warming, glacier melting, (conveniently releasing never-seen-by-man- before viruses ) is going to believed by anyone who flicked on the TV in the last 4 years.

    1. Kelly….LMAO

      You have it nailed.
Setting up the next “deadly virus” INDEED.!

There is no end to the “creativity” of these ASSHOLES is there…

  6. “Hey looky-loo! Whaddya thinks in that strange lookin hole?”
“Well why dontcha stick yer dick in it and find out?”
    “Sounds like a plan!”

  7. Okay I have nothing to do now. I’ll be happy to sit around and worry about an ancient virus in a f-ing glacier half way around the world. I’m soooo bored with our current viruses. Color me frightened MSM.

  8. Fear porno.
They dig deep to bring up something that is deep, it being the nature of it.
But no, they have to dig and bring it up to potentially cause pandemic.

The scientologists will do that, they will scientologize and get a Nobel Prize.
If a few hundreds of thousands die that’s just collateral damage, nothing to be worried about.
The rulers are good with that and will support that with large sums of other people’s money.

  9. The 800 lb gorilla in that BS article. If these virus organisms are in the ice, they obviously existed before the ice formed. They didn’t just come into existence in the ice. Some jackasses will write total BS and the sheeple will start bleating in fear. I prefer more honest, but defunct, publications such as “News of the World”. What would Batboy think of all this?

  10. Who funds this kind of stuff? pfizer, moderna Billy microsoft
Big pharma’s marketing departments never rest.
