  1. But she said officials must not be allowed to use Avant’s death or recent property crime to push for more policing, cash bail or other tough-on-crime measures that she said have been proved not to work.

Dear BLM cockroach … Every new crime unleashed by “your people” … liberated by NO Bail, soft on crime, and defunded, defanged Police … is PROOF of the NEED for Law and Order. All the things you claim “don’t work”

    1. I don’t understand having a system where voters vote for legislators to make laws, then vote for DAs to ignore those laws. Is it legal for a DA to chose to ignore the law, or is that illegal given that his job is to uphold the law?

      1. A superb point of fact. But we live in an era wherein Judges, Committees, and Health Officials can summarily ignore Election Laws … because pandemic …

Guess there must be a pandemic of criminals being illegally charged and incarcerated? In fact, that is the exact LIE we have all been fed. That our prisons are filled with non-violent drug offenders. Ohhhhhhhhh mommmmmaaaaaaa … those poor, poor, people who smoked ONE joint and are languishing in jail for decades. Ni&&ah Puhleeze!?

  2. Maybe, just maybe Liberals should stop supporting and protecting George Soros and his Ant-American, anti civilizationaire evil communist perfidy. Be careful whta you advocate for, it might finally get to you as well.

  3. What you get when liberal/democrat/communists are in control and want to destroy your country and society. Is Canada far behind?

  4. Violent crime up a lot and non-violent crime down slightly.
That’s as Progressive as you can get.

    1. They make it seem like a good-news, bad-news scenario. But what I wanted to know, was why Beverly Hills and not Oakland? They mention that crime in poor areas goes unreported and then they focus in on Beverly Hills. And these guys are the Pulitzer Prize winners for crime reporting.

  5. They don’t need more policing; they need martial law.

“Dear citizens: we have deployed National Guard units with orders to shoot looters on site. If you are caught looting you will not be arrested, you will be killed”.

    Watch that change quickly.

    1. Why would they do that? They created laws and policies to get the situation they are in now. This is what they want.

  6. It’s due to poverty! None of the 81 different social programs that put money in your pocket are working! Obviously they need 82!

(There were apparently 81 programs for everything from cell phones to kitchen sinks ten years ago when I lived there, maybe there are 82 programs by now, in which case 83 should just about do it!)

  7. It would be interesting to see the north/east half of the state break off from the south coastal problem half, but the chances are low in my lifetime.
But… if 20% of the population stood up as in the War of Independence that could set it off.
As I sayz, would be interesting.

  8. Remember those “Maps to the Stars Homes”?

Someone should come up with “Maps to the DA, Mayor, City Council, and Congress Person homes.” Especially the mansion of the loud, corrupt, race baiting, uncaring Maxine Waters. I heard her multi-million dollar mansion is very nice AND very far from her “Constituents.” Give them the attention they richly deserve.

  9. “The fact that this has happened, her being shot and killed in her own home, after giving, sharing, and caring for 81 years has shaken the laws of the Universe,” declared Oprah Winfrey, expressing her grief over Avant’s killing to her 43 million Twitter followers. “The world is upside down.”

The world is becoming exactly what a lot of these celebrities have been shaping it to become. Their ilk are ahead of everyone at turning the world upside down and behind most of us at understanding which way is up. And they’re as clueless as Alec Baldwin about who could be responsible. ‘Deplorables’ in fly-over country. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Too many people in California are being influenced by the news anchor in Rubber Boot, Montana. Maybe Rachel Maddow and Brian Stelter should team up and do an expose.
