Given the vicious, mean-spirited way Baldwin portrayed Trump on SNL over the years, I have to say I’m enjoying this guy’s fall more so than anyone who’s ever “had it coming”. This is THE definition of schadenfreude.

I am fascinated to watch this all unfold and to witness Baldwin try to wield his woke, white liberal privilege in order to cheat the justice system and his victims. So far, I estimate he is doing only slightly better than Jussie Smollett was at this point in his post-crime PR tour.
Baldwin just can’t keep his big mouth shut. I haven’t actually checked this, but I am pretty sure that if you look up the definition of the word “narcissist” in the dictionary, there is simply a photo of Alec Baldwin there.
Victim blaming taken to the extreme; he says that she, as the cinematographer, was telling him to hold the gun at her. And presumably to cock it and let the hammer go? Plus he says he feels no responsibility even though he fired the gun and he was the Director responsible for the production.

Who is the dick-head who thinks you need real guns on a movie set? Maybe Baldwin is one of them, but he can’t be the only one. After all, how many westerns has he made? There seems to be a whole industry of gun handlers in Hollywood. Why? Aren’t these the same people who want guns banned?
There needs to be a mock-umentry made of the events of the day, with Donald Trump in the role of Alec Baldwin.

This hit home for us, as have a friend who is a cinematographer and is often the DOP on a shoot, which is what Helena Hutchins was when she was shot. Friend’s response was to send out the reaction of a long-time armourer/props manager as to his procedures on a set. Needless to say, his procedures bore no resemblance to what was going on during the filming of “Rust”. What was interesting is that this man was so confident as to the rightness of his procedures that he had no problem threatening to shut down a production where others thought said procedures were overkill. Rather suspect the young armourer on the “Rust” set was chosen so she could be bullied into accepting procedures that were not safe.
