  1. Unlike the full body bag, I don’t care if a woman wants to wear a kerchief over her hair. I have pictures of my sister and her friends (typical teens) wearing them in the 50’s. They looked just as dowdy but … their choice. But hey, for real freedom be sure to add a face mask and have your papers handy!

  2. OJ, why give them the clicks? Anything controversial is parsed as good, with no comments permitted.
Perhaps in future you could screen cap the story and let the reader decide. I bet SDA gives those scum an extra million views a year.
    Just a thought.

    1. Good point. I clicked on it then realized it was the CBC which I have banned in all forms of media for 20 years.

    2. I understand exactly where you are coming from, Greg, it is really just a courtesy to those of us embroiled in these “media wars”. The few times I have had to supply a CBC link here, I put up a “CBC-link” warning. Then, the reader can choose for themselves if they want to award these scumsuckers with even one more click, or not.

CBC can take both my tax dollars and clicks and shove them up their lying, Liberal government mouthpiece asses.

  3. It’s more controversial within the chattering classes to be a stay at home mom than to subjugate yourself to one particular religion.

And she wants her daughter to be a walking flag of Islam in a few years too.

Everyone wants to jump on the minority train regardless of how tenuous their connection, fake Indians, fake black people, trans-whatever’s, “persecuted” muslims… losers…

  4. For starters, I don’t believe a word of these CBC ‘First person’ stories.

    They are pure propaganda.

    1. Funny thing, isn’t it? That the CBC never runs a story about a Christian woman being persecuted? No First-person Christian experiences.

PS … this woman relates a story about her experience in … Toronto!! So … according to this woman Toronto is a hotbed of hijabi-hate!? Really? Must be that 0.001% of the Toronto populace who didn’t vote for your Dear Leader

  5. If they are the Spawn’s people, the CBC will be their mouthpiece. Can you imagine them doing the same puff piece for a Christian? The Muslim headgear is no different than a Che Guevara T-shirt. One is an emblem of female submission to a theocracy based on a murderous warlord prophet while the other is leftist in-crowd virtue signaling with a deified murderous communist revolutionary. Both represent enemies of western civilization and liberty and a sign that they are people to be avoided and ignored and pointed out why. That the CBC gives them a voice is reason 598,437 that the CBC should be eliminated.

  6. I see the CBC site still invites comments. Beware. Your comments are not welcome if they contradict CBC narratives, and will be censored. Unless, of course they have changed tack since I shunned CBC over a decade ago. Ha ha fat chance.

    1. Frank

      ….they don’t welcome mine.
And My life has been the better for it.
Don’t watch it. Don’t read it
Have never been one for LIBERAL govt propaganda. (Paid or otherwise)..as it has been since I was 6….(1958)

And just lovin the global warming in Calgary the last few days…Bring it on..!!

  7. The comments at the bottom of the column show how utterly pointless it is to stick one’s neck out for this country.

A cleric’s garb is a sign of the office. A talisman or pendant is a visible sign of the one’s faith and not at all obtrusive.

The head coverings are a sign of the misogynist backwardness of primitive goat-herding cultures that white liberals, comfortable with their hatred of Christianity and Judaism, dare not criticise.

Women who have chosen not to wear this garment have either died or been mutilated.

    How is that for “diverse”?
