      Africa with 6% vaccine rates, basically no lockdowns, masks or vaccines has the lowest death rate and illness rate in the world.
      The only lockdowns etc that need done is the lock down and holding of Politicians for trials and prosecution for Genocide and crimes against Humanity.

          1. Except that this never works. With persistent trolls like UnMe or Allan or dizzy and now DJ there is always people taking the bait. They thrive on hijacking threads and inserting themselves into discussion between civilized people. They spam a thread after thread making exchange of ideas and information impossible. That is their sole purpose and they have been diligently destroying this blog for years now. If Kate shuts the comments, they win. That’s what they’re after. They can’t take it that there are people opposed to the leftist narrative and consistently keep sabotaging this wonderful place.

If this “so called virus” strain actually exists, and the spike protein has mutated, it could be the strain that takes out most of the vaxxed as the so called “vaccine” was developed for the unmutated spike protein. This could make the so called “vaccine” totally useless against the new strain of the so called “virus”. And, more than useless, but more of a detriment if it has damaged the immunity of the vaxxed. Buckle up. Take your 5000 units of VitaminD3, plenty of Vitamin C, Zinc and Quercetin daily and you will be fine.

    1. The elephant in the room is ADE. Auto-immune Dependency Enhancement, I think it is also called Anti-body sometimes. Basically the immune system is compromised. I don’t think more boosters are going to help. Like finding sand in the crankcase and then adding more hoping the engine will run smoother.

I think Original Antigenic Sin is going to be the bigger problem, ultimately — we’ve got upwards of four billion vaccinated people whose immune systems have now been trained on a single target of the ancestral SARS2 virus, whereas anyone recovered from a natural infection before (or in place of) being vaccinated has an immune system trained on dozens if not hundreds of targets on the viral capsid.

        Wild strains mutate away from the ancestral strain, and voilà! — your vaccinated immunity ain’t worth much; and if the spike protein mutates (and it’s bound to, sooner or later), any vax based on the ancestral strain will be completely useless. (And right now, every vax is based on the ancestral strain, while the nu strain has at least 30 mutations on the capsid.) We were warned about precisely this problem 21 months ago by leading researchers in virology and immunology all over the planet, all of whom said “don’t vaccinate during a pandemic,” and we have “wisely” stuffed a sock into their mouths and told them to shut up while vaccinating everybody in sight.

        This is a massive shit-show in the making.

        1. I agree. The independant virology professionals I follow think Original Antigenic Sin is the bigger problem.

          In addition, evidence is increasing that the current vaccines are impairing important parts of the immune system and no one knows for how long. That could be another fatal flaw of the covid vaccines when facing not just covid but any virulent cold or flu.

            The real problem, is these resistant strains, will effect everybody badly, not just the jabbed whose immune systems are compromised.

          2. My understanding is that those with natural immunity will have an advantage because of the way the immune system processes and memorizes viruses. The entire virus is chopped up and each piece is stored in the memory from many different angles. Any new virus mutation’s pieces will have more similarities than differences with the virus the immune system previously memorized. Those pieces will be recognized by the powerful adaptive immune system while the innate immune system is already in action.

          Where is this number coming from? Governments? It seems far-fetched.

          First, we are asked to believe that each of several pharma companies developed, (in relative isolation), a completely brand new chemical formulation, rushed it through testing, and produced 4 billion vials of the stuff within the space of a few months?

          Apart from the physical limitations of time and space, are the constituent chemicals of these several formulations in unlimited abundance?

          If 4 billion people were each given a bowl of oatmeal all within a few months, there’d be a worldwide shortage of oats.

          What right-minded person could possibly believe such a fantastic story? Perhaps more saline is being administered than thought.

Our World In Data claims that 3.3 Billion people are “fully-vaccinated,” with partials probably pushing the number up around 4 Billion. My bad if you don’t like my guesstimate, I s’pose. I don’t think it’s unreasonable — and if we’re talking about OAS (Original Antigenic Sin), one dose is all you need to trigger the inadequate life-long memory-response of an immune system previously naïve to SARS2.

            The “recovered from infection” may just yet inherit the Earth.

            Thanks for your reply, Garth. I didn’t express myself clearly. I was not critical of you. I didn’t think you were making up a number.

            I think the “official numbers” are questionable.

            It’s uncommon for 4 billion units of anything to be produced in the span of a few months. People should re-read “I am a pencil” to refresh themselves on material and manufacturing dependencies.

            Considering these drugs have never been manufactured before, to go from zero production to 4 billion in months seems ludicrous on its face.

            It seems as though the things governments and official experts would have us believe get more preposterous every day. It’s a world-wide gas-lighting exercise.

Well, that’s eleven million doses a day, every day, for the last year, from six or seven major pharmacos worldwide (so a couple million doses per pharmaco). I don’t find the number unbelievable, per se, but it’s definitely a “we’re goin’ flat-out 24/7 and damn the consequences” kinda number, and also bodes ill for being able to create a booster that’s up-to-date on the latest mutations (in fact, several of the pharmacos have already said that their booster would definitely not be based on updated viral mutations, but rather the original ancestral strain, which strikes me as about as useful as getting an annual flu shot for a strain that was around three flu seasons ago).

            It’s shit-shows for everybody!

  17. I believe the topic is vaccine mandates and lock downs. I would take it a step further. The unvaccinated don’t receive medical treatment. Go home and take your Ivermectin and pray. The unvaxed can’t even board an airplane after Dec 1. You can’t leave the country for a vacation. Decisions is the word of the day.

Nah, keep ’em around. They’re amusing. Between their righteous religious indignation, their lack of historical awareness and their constant straw-manning, they kinda remind me of good times in my Ethics 101 course back in Uni during the mid-80s. I can still remember one of the profs gently pointing out that coercing someone to take on a risk, however minor, so that someone else could enjoy a real or perceived benefit, however minor, has been considered unethical by almost every society in history . . . and yet, here we are! — vaccinating five-year-olds ’cause Boomers and soccer moms are afraid of the ‘coof.
