  1. But, but, but … the COVID vaccine is about “public health”, not a personal decision. “The Village” can’t tell you to get an abortion … but they can sure as hell demand you get vaccinated. And get locked-down. And have to put 1st Graders in masks. And shut down the entire Western, capitalist economy… then demand something get 6uilt 6ack 6etter …

PS … most of those children are not college worthy. They can’t think their way out of a wet paper sack.

But they have a “right” to graduate. That magic piece of paper confers upon them all manner of wisdom and insight and you, therefore, must conform to what they want for you.

      1. Kenji, BA. Here in the UK Dear Leader Blair said everyone had the ‘right’ to go to university. Unfortunately, this was taken to mean everyone ‘should’ go to university, even those without the required intelligence.
Some of them are entitled, arrogant and have such a superior opinion of themselves versus those who have not been.

One of my trainees who had just flunked (badly) an exam said “Of course I can be a train driver, i’ve got a degree for Christs sake”.

  2. Oh but many will say choosing an abortion doesn’t affect the health of others (remember: a fetus isn’t an other) while choosing not to get vaccinated adversely affects the health of others and so the “my body my choice” argument doesn’t apply.

Some will add that because we have socialized medicine in Chinada the government has the “right” to decide and therefore the right to punish. Right being a misnomer because the word that should be used is power. Of course you cannot opt out of health care – you are forced to pay for it though taxation.

In Chinada at least, you could apply a similar set of questions regarding private property and then bring up gun ownership.

    1. People still don’t understand we don’t get vaccinated to protect others; we get vaccinated to protect ourselves. Besides, it’s not a vaccine.

      1. OK, logic in the “covid” era. You are not wearing deodorant, that means mine won’t work.

  3. Most university students don’t have the intellectual ability to pour piss out of a boot, let alone a moral compass that doesn’t automatically point to self-gratification uber alles, i.e. evil.

  4. Recently on my local news, there was first a story about the need to restrict the unvaccinated from employment, which was then followed by a story about how terrible the discrimination was for people with AIDS back in the ’80’s.

Oh, the lack of self-awareness of tyrants.

  5. No real change in views.

If you can kill someone who fits into the palm of your hand, killing someone who is a fully grown adult with some experimental flu shot should be easy.

  6. Remember that episode in the original Star Trek where Capt Kirk tells the female robot “I lie”…then follows up with “I’m lying to you.”…which then puts the robot into a logic/illogic loop resulting in her head exploding? This kind of reminds me of that.

  7. The ads for the flu vax this year now states you get the flu vax to protect others. All previous years it was to protect yourself.
