Not My Fault, Part 406

Exactly how Ms Roth, a writer and Pilates instructor, is oppressed by “patriarchy,” and how she has been traumatised by it, crushed by the aforementioned “systems of inequality,” is not made clear either, and no examples are forthcoming. None whatsoever. Perhaps expectations of evidence – even a single, relevant anecdote – are now considered superfluous and impolite. Readers of Scary Mommy are nonetheless expected to nod in agreement, before checking their breasts for signs of “inherited trauma.”

On Patriarchy Stress Disorder, allegedly a “collective intergenerational trauma,” and “genetically transmitted,” “passed down in our genes” – albeit in ways left entirely mysterious.

  1. With the great global fascism reset in full swing and freedom, civil and human rights being trampled by new order governments as technocratic tyranny unfolds daily in our lives, do we really have the time and intellectual capacity to concern ourselves with deluded neurotics who dwell off planet?

  2. I wonder if she realizes that walking around with a body temp of 98.6F she’s heating the planet!

  3. PMS Disorder is much scarier, and she seems to have it 24/7/365. What a towering asshole from Hell.

  4. Wimmin (or is it womyn) like that are like the one in the thread the other day in which she tried to pass off her son as a girl. A real good way of abolishing the patriarchy, isn’t it?

  5. Elaine’s husband was one lucky man.

He died of an aggressive brain tumour, sparing him having to put up with Elaine’s lunacy any more.

Elaine clearly never got over the shock of no longer having the patriarchy around to make all the hard decisions.

  6. Whereas she only hates people if they have conservative views, even if they are kind ,generous, decent people with moral conviction.
