  1. OUTSTANDING..!!
1 School at a time….But whose payin their day..??
    …Aaahhh, they’re all working nite shift eh…uhuh.!!

    Go brandon Go.

    1. Ouch.

There’s 40 volunteers. Looks like 6 at a time. Presumably they aren’t there all day.

Shift work? Mondays and Tuesdays off instead of weekends? Part-timers? Self employed?

    2. Steakman – I wondered that too but they are doing the right thing so let’s focus on that first .

Re “Toxic Masculinity”, I say nay nay, “Tonic Masculinity”.

  2. Excellent. And you know that the professional edumbakators are looking for excuses to get those dads banned from entering the welfare plantation.

    1. Exactly. Teacher unions – the Democrats’ paramilitary wing (one of many!) – will find an excuse to nip this little ray-of-hope in the bud. Doesn’t align with their unstated goal of destroying the country via the public schools and turning us into a third world socialist hellhole. Am I wrong? F—- no! Wasn’t it Eric Holder and Obama’s DOJ who attacked efforts to rid repeat violent troublemakers from our public schools saying it was racist?

      1. Oh yes, Sid V, one of innumerable little Obama-Holder bogus tricks called “disproportionate impact”.

Um, wouldn’t the appearance of DADS at the school trigger youngsters without DADS and therefore make this allegedly safer environment, UNSAFE? Or is Louisana behind the times.

        1. Typically the dads of kids without dads are incarcerated. If they aren’t, they are grooming someone else’s kids to become incarcerated.

      2. Of course you’re not wrong. dhimicrats have a long tradition of making sure black people never get a chance and will remain forever dependent, hence for example their opposition to school vouchers.
And yes, Heinrich Holder has lead the way to keep violent thugs, with life expectancy under thirty, in schools to make sure that normal children never get a break or God forbid education.

    2. The professional elites are certainly gonna try and stop this. If it works, regulate it. But they might NOT be able to stop this.

These are all dads of students in the school. It’s gonna be hard to red tape them out of there.

These dads may have really come up with something here.

      1. Hey, haven’t they already been declared right wing extremist terrorists by the US DOJ?

  3. Wait. What!? Kids ARRESTED !? For fighting?

I would still be in the Pen. if kids were arrested for fighting back in my school days. Fist fighting. No weapons. Mano y mano.

I’m not a fan of “no tolerance” school rules about fighting. Most kids eventually learn that fighting isn’t ‘the solution’ … but fighting can also provide a valuable safety valve … before it escalates into more permanent solutions … with deadly weapons.

ANY kid who brings a deadly weapon to a fight, and/or uses it needs to have the entire book thrown at them. Hard.

    1. Kenji- retired high school teacher here; like you, I had my share of scraps in my younger days, and I agree with your general assessment of no tolerance policies towards fighting, which punish the defenders equally to the aggressors , BUT (and I’m aware of the maxim “everything before the ‘but’ is BS) in some schools zero tolerance might be necessary- schools, unlike the one I taught in, that are extremely disorderly and chaotic; filled with kids completely uninterested in leaning anything.

I’m skeptical that those dads can make a long term difference, but if it’s a sign that black America is realizing that it needs to solve its own problems…

      1. Fair enough. I admit that I did grow up in a cushy beautiful suburban community where nobody feared lethal force in any of these fights.

I remember my very first fight like it were yesterday. I was in 5th grade. It was a fight with my best friend … real punches thrown. I can’t remember the reason why. He probably insulted me or something. The fight happened on the playground on a day we had a substitute teacher. The next morning when our regular (male) teacher returned, he called Rich and I up to the front of the class. He said “I understand you two got into a fight yesterday”. He said … “well let’s finish it, in front of the class”. So the teacher wrapped puffy down jackets around our right hands, had us hold our left hands behind our backs and said … “fight”. We both laughed at him like he was half crazy, and the class cheered for us to fight. He finally MADE us each throw a punch where each of us got hit with a flying zipper but no real contact. The teacher said, “OK, that’s enough. Have you learned your lesson?” We did. And remained the closest of friends, until Rich’s family moved to Florida.

Absolutely TRUE story. It was 1966. Today? That teacher would be immediately fired, and our parents would sue the school. Times haven’t changed for the better. I am sad those days are gone, when teachers could dispense creative discipline. Our teacher KNEW us both … and KNEW we would remain friends. He essentially mocked our fight … and made us see the absurdity of it all

    2. Kenji, spot on.
I vividly remember thinking and then planning an attack on a fellow student in junior high who had been bullying me daily. It worked like a charm: the element of surprise! The bullying ended and we became fast friends. Respect often does that.
Yeah, “zero tolerance” can be a very dangerous policy against things that are not sufficiently dangerous.

Sadly, In our excessively feminized schools, most women are incapable of grasping this critical concept.

      1. The best solution to bullying is for the bullied to stand up to bullies. It does wonders for both involved. I too had enough and took on a bully. He and his followers stopped bullying me and others. We in fact became friends.

If it were today, I would have gotten in deep excrement and he would have continued and found it a validating experience.

      2. Yup.

I had the same problem in high school. The thing is that my tormentors were bigger and tougher than me. I could have taken them on right then and there, but being pounded into pemmican by them wouldn’t have garnered me any respect.

But, in each case, I finally blew my cork. I took a swing at the bully in question but all I did was hit them in the shoulder. They were so surprised at my reaction that they fell over onto a desk or two….. in the presence of a number of spectators.

The subsequent embarrassment at being unexpectedly bested by a twerp was enough for them to leave me alone.

    3. “No Tolerance” is how liberals avoid dealing with issues. Make it someone else’s problem. So, let police deal with it.
Police also won’t deal with it anymore. They just push paper with arrest and court records. The actual root of the problem is never dealt with.

  4. A classic case of state versus voluntary individual organization. This is what de Tocqueville spoke of. Statists misrepresent the Libetarian position by saying that it requires the state to do collective things; not so, but collective actions come from voluntary organization formed by individuals freely.

    1. Well stated. Which is why Democrats will kill this effort and any larger effort to spread it far and wide. Democrats don’t want parents involved in their children’s education. Just look at Loudoun County and all these other Boards of Education meetings across the country. The media hates these people. Look at what they did to that guy who objected to his daughter being raped in a bathroom.

  5. The Democratic party is not impressed.

How can you provide programs supporting women who want to have kids without having a husband……and then have it shoved in your face that dad’s are actually an important part of a civil society.

  6. If dads are doing the job that school administrators, judges and police are paid to do why are the latter being paid? Fire the useless idiots and reduce taxes.

  7. What a great news story. Made my day. It’s not often we get to hear some really good shit for a change.

    Thanks for that.

sure, it’s a great news story until one of the apprentice gangbangers
pulls out a saturday night special and wastes dumb ol’ dad.
then it’s all lawsuits and urban warfare again.

they had a similar group… ‘mom’s against mayhem’, or some other
      pithy title
in chicago and it got this kind of happyhappy press
coverage… until one unfortunate crusader got blown out of her
sensible shoes one cold chi-raq night.

      just sayin’

there’s a reason cops have kevlar & guns and travel in packs.

      1. More likely that one of ‘Dads’ will end up being a trouble-maker himself. The other Dads will try to chastise him for undermining what the organization is trying to do and, well, you know the rest.

  8. They don’t have education or psychology or criminology degrees.
It is not that they are effective in spite of not having those degrees.
They are effective BECAUSE they don’t have those degrees.
    Retired teacher here, too.

Regular folks doing what the “professionals” cannot figure out how to do.

  9. This must not stand! A culture cannot be perpetuated without institutions to teach and reinforce the values of the culture. Too much good work has gone into undermining the principle institutions of nuclear families and religion for this kind of backsliding to be allowed to happen. Revolution is near. We can’t let reactionaries gain any ground now!

  10. This is the most BEAUTIFUL story from 2021.
    Its called “stepping up”.
Also happens to take place in a city, we passed through during our honeymoon 40 years ago.
    (Irrelevant I know…..)

  11. And you had to ruin with Nora O’Donnel at the end.

Any way, the success of that means the Teachers Union will demand they be declared a terrorist group.
