Best Healthcare System in the World

With the all knowing, all seeing central planners.

NP- Canada doesn’t know how bad its doctor shortage is, let alone how to fix it.

Dr. Katharine Smart, president of the Canadian Medical Association, says once doctors are trained at Canadian universities, we don’t necessarily know where they go to work. We don’t know how many doctors we need, or which specialities.

“Health care is a bit like a house on fire,” Smart says. “Where do we throw the water today?”

  1. Ah … there it is. The true behind-the-secnes reason for the vaccine panic:

“We cocked up the healthcare system for 25 years, cutting too far and too deep. Now the only viable choices are IVM, or crappy vaccines that may, indeed, be leading to ADE”.

Why the constant boosting? Oh … just as Covid is like bad flu, the crappy Covid vaccines are like the flu shot Got it.

Based on the MASSIVE national pricing differentials, you can see why IVM was widely used in India, but why Pfizer would never let IVM see the light of day in the lucrative Western market.

What percentage of doctors, politicians and academics are getting kickbacks and grants from Pfizer? I’d like to know.

      1. Steakman, they would sooner kill us than admit they fucked up. Ivermectin is not necessary if you treat the fucking thing like the damn flu it is.

  2. probably have a massive department tracking this . reminds me of the government oil company in Kazakhstan years ago. A department of 6 monitoring well pressures , had not taken one in over 5 years , not even a fluid shot . had no idea of the pool pressure. they also had a soccer team and a department to fill up truck tires.

    1. We’re worse than a 3rd world country. In a 3rd world country, you can get your meds, or glasses, or whatever for cash.
We’re more like the Soviet Union.

Soviet man goes to Lada distributor, is told his issued car will be ready in 10 years. Asks “Will that be in the morning or the afternoon?” Lada distributor says “Its in 10 years, what difference does that make?” Man answers “Plumber is coming in the morning.”

  3. This is the health care system you get when you let politicians and a corrupt bureaucracy run it instead of people with actual medical experience. It’s fast approaching the point of no return to join the educators and public service unions as yet another socialist blight on our existence.

    1. The jist of the Canadian System is Canadians wanted, but didn’t want to pay.

Everyone thought they could scam, a bit, and get other Canadians to pay more.

Many Canadians knew it waa a scam. The old out of old pre death desperation figured they’d be gone before the crash.

Big buisness/gov loved the central place to steal money and lard up patronage positions.

      But that’s all long ago.

Canada is in the swirl the bowl time now.

      It will get faster.

  4. the truly staggering aspect about canada’s single source healthcare system (thanks a bunch uncle tommy) – is why anyone could think that gov’t central planning could turn out well in the first place. some suggest the provincial systems are broken; i don’t buy that. it’s more like the system has been limping forward for decades now and was suddenly forced into a 5k footrace.
it is almost a gift that the systems’ gaps, sinkholes and brick walls have been exposed. time for a serious review on how to make room for private medicine. what a mess.

  5. I can’t even get a doctor. I’m on a waiting list with about 5 GPs, have been for 3 years now.
Gotta use online clinics to renew my blood-pressure med prescriptions, and those are all basically flash-in-the-pan identity theft outfits.

    1. Even if you had a family doctor it wouldn’t make any difference. If you need a prescription filled one option might be a walk in clinic. I’m not on meds – probably because I’ve haven’t seen a doctor in almost a decade – but on the odd time I have needed a doctor I’ve got reasonably good service at a local walk in clinic.

  6. Here in NonToryio, the government led by Premier Flounder is having a tiff with the optometrists.

My wife is in the midst of retiring and wanted to get an appointment before bennies run out…nope. Not taking anyone for examination, sorry. Nope, can’t pay cash, of course. Not like in those unenlightened places like, say…Europe.

I can get one, no problem, still covered on my plan.

So, she’ll continue to drive with bad eyes. Can’t see the issue…

  7. Yep, my last appointment at least a month ago was pushed to the end of Nov. I was told just why and I for one, agree with them. The fucking government will kill us and blind us and any other damn disgrace they can get away with, why, because stupid Canadians have lost their way. I can’t be only old man in Canada who understands this. I hate the government even if once in awhile the medical system gets something right. Usually it is because the government has been ignored.

  8. The goal is termination by any means available of 95% of the world’s population. So why fix a system that costs lots of taxpayer money if it leads to extending the lives of the citizenry? That is counter to the agenda of extermination. If you understand the goals, then the process becomes easier to believe. It is called Agenda 21 and it underlies most of the politics you are seeing currently, including the non-existent pandemic.

  10. Women make up 65% of under 35 doctors in Canada. They just don’t work the hours that male doctors work.
