            Years ago, the US Supreme Court “ruled” that carbon dioxide was a toxic pollutant.

            It was way back then I thought that the government has just legally sanctioned the potential regulation of our autonomic exhalations. A catastrophically dangerous precedent given colour of law. It received some attention in the ephemeral press and then the collective consciousness moved on.

            There is NOTHING that the government does not arrogate to itself the right to control and destroy — for its own benefit.

Start making idiotic mistakes and you have to be transferred out. And it needs to be a step up to get around the constructive dismissal rules. Finally you get to where you can put your stain on everything you touch. This is a result of letting the civil service grow out of control and unionise. It is also the brain dead electing politicians who follow the bureaucrats rather than represent the electors.
