    1. Only World Wars end up stopping this kind of crap. This is 1933, and the World has a hard-on for Fascism. Little do they know …

      1. Unfortunately there is no one to stop fascism now. It’s imprinted in the fabric of western governments. We are at the stage of the USSR and German non aggression pact and a formation of an evil axis of communism, totalitarianism and Islamism. It does not bode well.

  1. 2 of my children are being forced into vaccines. One at university, now will not be able to attend in January unless proof of vaccination has been submitted. Another in Grade 8 needs proof of Vaccination to play on the volleyball team. Lots of peer pressure at public school. Teachers asking kids to raise their hands if they have been vaxed, down talking hesitancy, etc.

I am so tired of Canada (not just the vaccines) I am currently looking to relocate in another country. Any suggestions? Seems like every western country has fallen to wokeness and socialism.

    1. It’s probably better to go to a country where most people living there realize that the government is their enemy. None of this childish “the government works for us; we are the masters” BS. At least in such a place you can be confident your neighbour isn’t a character from Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.

Doug Casey has recently said parts of Mexico aren’t looking too bad. Costa Rica is always good. He spends time in Uruguay.

He also said that any place on earth can look good one minute, and turn into Haiti the next. He said to always be cautious, and never trust any place. I’m sure he’s got multiple passports and deposit accounts in lots of different countries. He’ll make out just fine.

It would be great if some of us western Canadian expats could form a loose community of independent liberty-minded self-reliant types. It’s always good to have a support network a person can trust.

      1. Mexico, what with its own version of the Liberal Party (the IRP; in power for most of the last 100 years), is what Canada will look like in, let’s say, 10 years. Minus the good weather and prosperity from oil and gas extraction.

    2. I think there’s only a few free countries left. Texas is the safest bet I think. After that Sweden and a distant third is Russia or Venezuala in terms of freedom.

      1. A few free countries, as of now.
        Shit changes, everywhere.
Yeah, Mexico sounds good today, but later, who knows?
How about standing ground in your own country and work, however you can, to make it free. You know, just like we tell immigrants. Hey, Immigrant, why don’t you try to change your nest, instead of fleeing to mine, etc.

        1. Stevie: Yes, what you say nags at my conscience. Your point is very valid, but working in Canada makes it next to impossible to homeschool. Can I really bring about change? 80% or more agree with these mandates and covid passports. more than 70% voted for Libs/NDP or greens. When do I oppose the will of the majority and when do I decide this is not the place for me and my children?

          1. Don,
            I hear your plight.
I have the luxury of not having children.
It’s untenable. Bringing about change seems unlikely, but Gandhi is instructive in that regard.
Whatever, I will stand here, though. I don’t like the idea of leaving.
Hope you will decide to stay, too. Your children may thank you some fine day.

    3. I am looking at Mexico. They are somewhat relaxed about Covid — no vax passports at this point. They are also somewhat affordable if what you have to spend is Canadian dollars. Challenge is can a person drive across the boarder, as flying from Canada won’t be doable after the end of Oct.

      1. The border opens for driving Nov 8 but you have to say you’re vaccinated and some people will get pulled over for secondary inspection where they need to prove it. So it’s already too late to drive over.

      2. I think the point about Mexico is NOT that it’s well organized and not corrupt. The point IS it’s disorganized and extremely corrupt. You have to stop thinking like a good little Canadian. All governments everywhere are the same. Out to screw you for as much as they can get. In a disorderly country where the local cop runs the stolen car syndicate, a gringo who just wants to be left alone can get by. Que? no covid passport, senor? Hmm, a few hundred pesos will provide you with all the immunity you need, senor. And so on. It’s in a technological bureaucratic tyranny like the US and Canada where you’ll have no quarter. There’s nowhere to hide in the scientific technological panopticon. What’s more, the maniacs in these countries are relentless in grinding you into the dirt:

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

        1. Corrupt. I’m wondering, and this is an honest question, do you mean you pay for what you need done. We can pay Canadian govt to set diversity seminars or we can get what we pay for.

Sounds legit. But if someone can squeeze you, and you have no recourse, then it’s like sections of New York in the 1930-1980’s. Interestingly enough, those who paid the protection survived and even flourished in some cases. However, they can also squeeze you for everything. Obviously not good.

So basically, if you can pay you have protection. Kinda like our taxes (but don’t ask a farmer outside of the RCMP protection zone) are supposed to cover it, but? Our current ‘protection’ sucks – just ask those seeing a couple of strangers in their yard at 3:00 am.

This sounds suspiciously like an Ayn Rand. Love that book.

Anyway, Either way. I’m not sure. Looks like our old way is done. Go where it’s real life and you can make a living, even paying for protection? The way it’s been for 10k years? Thoughts? I’m curious.

        2. I think the point about Mexico is NOT that it’s well organized and not corrupt. The point IS it’s disorganized and extremely corrupt. You have to stop thinking like a good little Canadian. I should have been more clear – I think this is a fantastic comment. This little grease might seem corrupt, but it’s way less than your taxes now. Not even close. Corruption at 40%? Get to the other guy, he’ll take care of you for 35%. Guess what, there’s a guy at 30%. I’d be shocked if they are that high. It’s an economy of scale. They skim, not gouge like our government. And we get what? Potholes, not respected anywhere in the world, scolded?

On top of that, you can always form your own protection squad.

It’s community. It’s how we did things for millennia.

I agree with a previous statement, stop thinking like a good little Canadian, that’s probably gone based on election results. Just sad, but . . .

    4. Thar’s the problem Don, there ain’t anywhere to go to, unless you like Hungary. I guess it’s time to become Jeremiah Johnsons, and live in remote wilderness. Unfortunately, even there, it will eventually catch up to you.

  2. a reversal of Logan’s Run.

The old fogies have taken over control of the retirement lodge! Don’t trust anyone under 80!

  3. This is just to get the kids vaccinated. A move which makes ZERO medical sense at all. There’s a far higher chance of a kid being harmed by the vaccine than being harmed by covid.

    1. Making kids wear masks for extend periods is harmful.
      Masks restrict oxygen flow.
You want to convince me that restricting oxygen levels to a growing child is a ‘good thing’ then fill your boots.

I am not even convinced it is wise to allow mask wearing while operating machinery.

      1. Masks actually spread covid. Putting a wet mask on your face to collect the virus and then suck it into your lungs is just stupid.

        1. I completely agree.

BTW my wife teaches a class of 30 little 1st grader disease factories, who have exposed both of us to virtually every bug in the world (her class is a real multi-culti stew) over the past 25 years. We’ve somehow survived these “killer kids”.

Now she’s teaching the little tykes who MUST BE masked both inside AND outside on the playground. It is INSANE. And soon … these 7yo’s will be FORCED to get “the shot”. It’s bloody NUTS. Well … thus far, these little walking, talking, disease vectors haven’t KILLED us with the COVID. It must be due to the masks and their desks 6ft apart.

This generation of children are going to be mental and emotional cripples. Killer kids my ass … more like KILLER adults. They’re DESTROYING their own children.

          1. ^ That. 100%.

People are so selfish and twisted and self-absorbed they will put their own welfare ahead of their kids, forcing the vaccine and its risks on them.

            Sick and disgusting.

            mhb23re

  4. GVB has stated that kids are the circuit breakers for Covid. It can end, allowing the kids to have innate immunity, without being stabbed.
Kids are not at risk of death from Covid, unless grossly obese or immunocompromised. Only jab those ones.
Kids aren’t super spreaders, even if they were, then,

IF YOU ARE VACCINATED, YOU ARE SAFE, AREN’T YOU?

I don’t want to say I hope this backfires, but let the neurotic jab their kids first. If/when they stroke/clot/seizure/die, the parents got what they wanted. I wish no ill toany kids, but their parents ignored warnings.

  5. The Branch Covidians are officially insane, disgenic, discivilizational fascists. They’re so deeply afraid of losing their worthless lives that they will sacrifice anyone, no matter how innocent. This is how immoral societies die.

  6. Was that study commissioned by the teacher’s unions? Enough study from around the world says that kids don’t really get the coof bad, and they don’t transmit it worth a damn. Only when someone needs a narrative built do they resort to the weasel words in studies. Without definitive proof, they shouldn’t publish.

  7. So Japanese kids in Japan are okay. Japanese American kids are COVID spreaders? How about the Indians? Indonesians?

Do you think this is based in science or genetics? What is in the water these people drink?

  8. People this frightened of living, should voluntarily stop doing so.
Children are plague carrying rats,as they share all the diseases they need to develop immunities to.
Any adult who would damage children to save their own worthless hides, have no place in a civil society.

The question for our “intellectual superiors” :”What are you saving?”
    Having shut down civil society.
Stripped the tax payer of their God given rights freedoms and access to justice..
    What is left to save?

There is no place in this “Government Protected Society” for free men.
And because these fools and bandits see no limit to their power and have no concept of shame,we are now at war.
Canada ,this Statist Ruin, must be destroyed.

    And that destruction is unavoidable.
The fools and bandits who slow walked us into bankruptcy and dependency, have shut down most means of production.
We have insufficient income to pay for our spending.
The parasitic overload has grown all through the Dread Covid Theatre,as the producers have been shutdown, handicapped and nobbled at every opportunity..

Now these same thieves have told us,we have no rights,no inalienable freedoms and cannot argue these draconian abuses in court…But they want us to pay more tax to fund their Brave New World..

I think I will change my name to Typhoid Johnny Cash.

  9. I’m going to start hanging out with Elon Musk. Eventually, I’ll get my own planet, and my immigration policy is going to be pretty darn comprehensive.

“Ummm, are those berkenstocks? Sorry, move along”
“What’s that? You don’t eat meat? Shame. Move along”
“Ohhhh….we don’t use the word diversity here. Don’t let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya.”
“Did I just hear you complaining about having to stand in line? Well, let me remedy that for you. Bye bye.”
“Really? You never held a legitimate job in your life? No no…government positions don’t count. In fact, just the opposite.”

    1. Thanks for the second link. Auto scanning your phone to verify your compliance level: you are just another RFID-tagged cow en route to the slaughterhouse.

      Fück. Them. All.

  10. This is the beginning of the brain massaging for all those soft-headed numbskulls. Soon they will be wetting their pants about those nasty “viral reservoirs”. (When we’re they not?)

I will guess that the kids don’t get to go back to school after Christmas break until they are vaxxed…and the school will be the exclusive domain of the offspring of soft-headed numbskulls. Sounds kind of Utopian if you were a leftist, or a conservative who has been gulping down the Kool-Aid, stopping only long enough to take a breath.

  11. Could be – dangerous carriers – of covid 19. Yet another BS tell. Based on “viral load” so-called data undemonstrated as a significant factor.
The could be, except they aren’t, and children’s deaths were seriously ill kids near death or morbidly obese and diabetic. Every one of them.

Don’t believe they apparatchiks are lying, again, that this stat is virtually meaningless because it correlates and is causative to butkus?

“Of the 73 million children in the U.S., fewer than 700 have died of COVID-19 during the course of the pandemic, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Rauch puts the figure into context using the number of people who can typically fit into a sports venue.”

“Think about it in terms of football stadiums,” Rauch said. “In 100,000 kids, one of them is not going to make it with COVID. Everyone else who walked in is going to walk out.”

About 50,000 children under 14 have died of all causes since the start of the pandemic, according to the CDC.”

    https://www.usatoday.com/in-depth/graphics/2021/10/08/covid-19-kids-cases-hospitalizations-deaths/8361479002/

Let’s see of 50k childhood deaths during the pandemic scare, 700 covid deaths means it accounts for 1.4% of all childhood deaths.

          1. I don’t believe that is correct. Vaccination reduces symptoms to some extent and reduces severity, but you can still get infected and carry an equal viral load.

          2. Remote work site at mine in Nunavut has an outbreak. They are all vaccinated. If you can’t control it in a closed highly controlled area, you think you can in a….school.

            You’re funny

          3. It doesn’t. Even the corrupt CDC admits that.

Why don’t you stop lying? Better yet, go to your local clinic and demand another dozen shots at once to “protect others”.

Not to worry about side effects: your blood runs cold and is immune from clots and myocarditis doesn’t affect those without a heart.

            mhb23re

          4. The vax cannot prevent infection, transmission, illness or death , they also cannot mitigate symptoms. If you get it, just like someone without the vax, you may be very ill, have cold like symptoms, or nothing at all. The unvaxxed and vaxxed are 100% equal in this equation.

  12. Maybe we can checkmate the globalists by starting a religion which welcomes death. The lockdowns would be a gross violation of our religious freedom. It’s called over-correction.

      1. Yeah it is noticeable that deaths are higher in Democrat run states and especially in long term care facilities

  13. The vaccinated are a much bigger threat to the unvaccinated and/or immunocompromised than children are:
    https://stuartbramhall.wordpress.com/2021/10/12/fully-vaccinated-are-covid-super-spreaders-says-inventor-of-mrna-technology/

This ‘Children need to vaccinated’ BS is a push by big pharma to make even more obscene profits.
They are pushing this crap despite the fact that for healthy children, the risk of death or injury from the vaccine far outweighs the risk of death or injury from Covid. They don’t care who is harmed or dies so long as they make as much as possible.

      1. i had a subscription to the atlantic – 40 years ago. i still read the occasional article.
it is 2 steps above the new yorker.
it is 3 steps above rolling stone.
it is 4 steps above salon.
it is 5 steps above vice.
the atlantic became a cesspit 25 years ago.

      2. Malone doesn’t take full credit for the mRNA technology. I heard him talk about it. The point of The Atlantic dissing him is clear: he has come to see that the injections are dangerous and is saying so. Bucking the “Trusted Media Initiative” narrative*, and they don’t want to hear it.
*the most bizarrely deceptively named thing going, and that’s saying something.

      3. You’re a moron.

You dis any researcher or scientist who pushes back against unnecessary vaccinations but drink Fraudci’s bath water like it’s amarone.

Even your appeals to authority are idiotic.

        mhb23re

  14. Imagine thinking that putting quotation marks around ‘science’ and a snarky comment negates facts that you don’t want to hear. Imagine being that willfully stupid.

    1. You have quote marks around your whole existence, ephemerial and virtual as it is.

    2. Imagine thinking the atlantic is a reliable source of scientific information. Imagine being that willfully stupid.

      1. Imagine yet another leftist “fact check” which checks something nobody has ever claimed. The ol’ straw man fact check. Straw men are NOT real. There. I fact checked The Atlantic.

    3. Why should you have all the fun presenting fantasy as fact? Like Russian collusion, Trump racism and a host of other mendactic crap.

Imagine being that willfully stupid. The trouble is in your case we don’t have to imagine, you being the poster child for hypocrisy.

  15. 110 subects of the study is too small. lso, the children were between 2 weeks (KA babies) and 21 years old (AKA adults) So I didn’t read any further.

    1. 110 subjects is perfectly fine. There have been perfectly good high-impact studies with fewer subjects than that. Learn statistics.

      1. Small numbers of test subjects is exactly why so much bullshit science emerges. Whether it be pharmacology, nutrition or most any other biological science. Small numbers of test subjects fail to account for the immense variability in responses in humans.

      2. Surely. That’s why pharma companies can rush new drugs to market with trials involving less than a hundred people.

The FDA likes to fast-track those drugs.

Because of the “perfectly good high-impact studies”®

        mhb23re

  16. I see the at the fear-mongers are scraping the bottom of the paranoia barrel.

Statistically, children are less likely to die from this virus.

One could always ask China what it did to this strain to make so nasty, however.

  17. Pretty soon the children will be taken away from their parents by the government. For awhile at least, and sent to education camps, where they can be comforted, coddled and indoctrinated. Only to become tomorrow’s thought police.

    1. children will be taken away from their parents by the government. For awhile at least, and sent to education camps,

Mao did it years ago. The children came back with little red books. They’d wave them in the air as they denounced their parents in the public square. Then they hauled them off to extermination centres. Three thousand year culture smashed into dust within one generation. It has never recovered. Anyway, back to the brainwashed murderous revolutionary guards. Jan Wong was one. Famous Globe And Mail reporter. Canada welcomes all. The Great Helmsman knows what he is doing.
