Divide by Two

A new study suggests that almost half of those hospitalized with COVID-19 have mild or asymptomatic cases.

The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in the United States right now is as high as it has been since the beginning of February. It’s even worse in certain places: Some states, including Arkansas and Oregon, recently saw their COVID hospitalizations rise to higher levels than at any prior stage of the pandemic. But how much do those latter figures really tell us?

If you want to make sense of the number of COVID hospitalizations at any given time, you need to know how sick each patient actually is. Until now, that’s been almost impossible to suss out.

  1. Validating what many of us already suspected. Almost all of the information and statistics concerning covid and vaccines are eventually exposed to be bullshit.

the pope has decided he ain’t dying for anybody’s sins…

“The Vatican City State announced Monday that effective October 1
no one can enter its territory without presenting a coronavirus
      Green Pass
, by order of Pope Francis.”

      one gigantic milgram experiment.

if they can’t tell if you have it without a lab test…

      1. So didn’t Jesus heal lepers? Meet the new lepers: the Unvaxxed. Great job Pippi Long-robe at really embracing Christian courage.

  2. Hence the massive media cartel propaganda about hospitalization in Alberta.
There is no lie like a big lie, then its ok.

For those that would like to comment that this is ignoring the problem, the problem is there and will be for a long time, the severity of it is a media creation for regimes to destroy free enterprise.
Not talking about big business, they will find a way to make more money to go with the flow, even magnify the problem.

  3. Nailed it.

    How sick (is) sick.

Go see the doc and walk out with a few pills maybe a mild head cold.

OR in the ER (which folks do when really not sick) and some who are really sick. Yeah never know.

I’ve seen them all in my 30+ years

  4. So basically somebodies are conflating those who are hospitalized BECAUSE OF the CCP virus with those who happen to HAVE the virus when the are hospitalized for three gunshot wounds.

    Sounds par for the course.

  5. This is what I have long suspected. Admissions to a hospital bed is a human decision and ALL humans have an agenda. And so if your agenda is to strengthen the covid delta fourth wave medical tyranny, then hospital beds get full.

At the end of the article they try to plug vaccines as usual by suggesting that more mild hospitalized cases are a tribute to vaccinations. Seemingly forgetting that ‘the vast majority of hospitalizations now are unvaccinated people.’

We’re in a media/government driven hysteria to consume pre-purchased doses of vaccines.

  6. We’ve learned that “hospitalized with Covid-19” really means: Went to the hospital for something else…was given high-cycle PCR test, which came back positive. Poof! Another Covid stat.

    1. Update from my last. There is 1 person in hospital in the entire region of 1 million people.

  7. Government health care, and government-insurance monopoly health care is replete with fraud. Covid is just the latest, (and most flagrant), example of the mendacity.

  8. and the upshot is… authorities cannot sustain a state of emergency when pieces of the narrative are falling on all sorts of peoples’ heads.

  9. I call this grasping at straws

“It’s underreported how well the vaccine makes your life better, how much less sick you are likely to be, and less sick even if hospitalized,”

Aren’t vaccines suppose to prevent you being ill and also spreading the virus?

  10. If you look around the world virtually every major politician has flipped to the consensus that tyranny is the solution to COVID . Surely all these politicians of every stripe cannot rationally think in unison like this. It is like some external power (Gates, Soros , Globalists , CCP etc.) has bribed , coerced , black mailed or threatened them or their family in some way. How else can one explain the universal behavior?

“The Story of Ivermectin”. It is not new to those who have been following HCL and Ivermectin , but is very well presented and informative naming the heroes and villains.

  11. Question of the day: Where are all the people who are dying at home?
Ask any first responders you may know. Or undertakers.
Crickets? Or is the media ignoring stories?
A story blasting “all the purebloods” that are costing the system is ignoring the economic reality: hospitals are a business. They do not care what is populating the beds. We all know an empty hospital will not be a hospital for very long.

    1. Deaths are no higher than they’ve ever been. The medical tyranny is based on pure fraud and relies upon gullible sheep.

    2. Off the topic, but another example: You, as a buyer, have a Realtor. They are supposed to be looking out for your best interest. But it is in their best interest for you to pay as much as possible. Higher commission.

The other missing dead are the homeless.

  12. Could someone tell me why mild cases and asymptomatic cases are even in the hospital? Thought only serious ill end up admitted.

  13. I don’t usually agree with Francisco’s half baked takes, but the crisis is over. Deaths began their plunge as soon as the vaccinations began making headway with the elderly vulnerable, and have been dropping like a rock since until now they are near normal and have been for some time. Francisco would have us believe that deaths should have started to climb as the vaccines were rolled out. Here is a graph that shows excess deaths in 2020 and how 2021 has returned to near normal levels.

  14. Its a private system – their threshold for admission is probably very low. The only numbers that really matter are case fatality rates and ICU admission rates.
