    1. That has to be only a fraction of all the cash that was lying around in that country when the taliban took over.

  1. So every time I pass by a $94.00 pair of Rib Eye steaks at COSTCO … I’ll just shrug and say; “Well at least this unaffordable inflation is going to a good cause. Women who are covered head to foot in black tents with slits for their eyes, and who can no longer get an education, are eating well … and no longer ‘feel’ insecure”. I will eat my plate of beans instead of a steak … as my own personal sacrifice for a Mullah’s fifth wife. Now I feeeeeeeel good about myself.

  2. Considering the amount of military hardware that was abandoned, surely the Afghans could raise they money they want by selling some of it. There’s a fortune in spare parts alone.

Those sales could easily be a significant portion of their GNP.

    1. You don’t think Anatoly Blinken went to Qatar for the sunshine do you? Nahhhh … it was to hand off stacks of cash to the bearded ones.

    1. Whose side is our government on anyway? WTFH!? We’re all Islamic now, eh? I guess Obama’s finally knocked us off our high (Christian, capitalist, FREE) horse, huh?

  3. The buying out of US citizens and others left behind is just beginning. The Taliban, unlike their Biden-lead enemies know what they are doing. When is the Spawn going to send his “brothers” a few billion?

  4. My guess is that this has to do with keeping the heroin flowing. “Lotta money in those white powders”

  5. Terrorists almost always do. They rarely pose a meaningful threat to anybody who matters. Nobody cares about Afghanistan. Nobody ever did.

Only genuine liberation movements are routinely and brutally crushed.

That’s the reason for the new fashion for wokeness in the US army. The globalists are in need of recruits willing to help them get rid of the Cracker Problem before the Crackers get rid of the globalists.

  6. It is right and natural that Emma with 2 moms pay the Taliban. We all know this, so why is anyone surprised?

  7. Pick your scenario for any given US$…
    1. You never get to any “humanitarian cause” at all, but are siphoned off by the Taliban (government) to do whatever they want. Just like aid in pretty much every 3rd world country.
    2. You actually DO buy some food or clothing for a citizen or two. Now, because they don’t have to provide for their own people (stupid Westerners….thanks for the $$) the Taliban can afford more guns and rockets.
Either way, you mean more guns and rockets.
    Thanks, Joe!!

    1. I’m not sure where you got the idea that its the role of a government to provide for its citizens. JT maybe?

      1. In that area of the world….yep, that is how it works. Hardly any agriculture, no industry, no infrastructure . Not sayin I want to head there, or believe in it.
My point was that these aid dollars will only aid the already well off Taliban leadership.
The very idea of sending aid to people who a short time ago were trying to kill your soldiers is such an anathema. But……given that the aid dollars are already designated – an idea that JT would love – We may as well be aware that “Humanitarian Aid” will only aid the Taliban.
The myth of Humanitarian Aid doing any good, or even reaching intended recipients, needs to be exploded.
As does the myth that government dependency is a viable long term solution to anything, which is your (well taken and very true) point.

        1. “Hardly any agriculture, no industry, no infrastructure . “
Canada/America should be shipping them water.
People can live a long time without money, but not a long time without water.

Hook them on Perrier, like the rest of us.
