Oh yeah, and It’s my guess it’ll never see the light of day. They say it’s the winners who write the history and there are still some malevolent characters who want to make sure their version of history is chiselled in stone.
The Bush family sure comes to mind. GHW Bush in my opinion is the Forrest Gump of politics, not to mention his pal Howard Hunt who managed to insert themselves in almost every major U.S. political event but only wittingly. Bay of Pigs, Central American death squads, Vietnam, JFK/ Dealey Plaza, Watergate, Iran, Iraq and that’s only the stuff we know about. These guys were bulls and the world was their China shop.
The media’s veneration of that Angel of Death when he died almost made me throw up in my mouth and drove home the realization that when it comes right down to it, we’re only bit players in the grand scheme of things.
