In 2011, it was Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood reciting the mantra about “rebuilding the Brent Spence or any of the tens of thousands of bridges in America.” Foxx, his successor, who would turn down the Brent Spence bridge, was also pitching plans to rebuild thousands of bridges.
Replacing the “damn bridge”, as Biden put it, would cost about $2.5 billion. Instead of rebuilding the bridge, Obama had poured a fortune into Big Green projects that failed.
Solyndra received a $535 million loan guarantee to build solar panels and went bankrupt. Abound Solar got a $400 million stimulus loan guarantee and went bankrupt. Tonopah Solar Energy got $737 million in loans and went bankrupt. Fisker got a $529 million stimulus loan to build electric cars and went bankrupt. A123 got a $249 million stimulus grant to build electric car batteries and went bankrupt.
Ener1 got a $118.5 million grant to build electric car batteries and went bankrupt. Biden had visited the company and hailed it as one of the “100 Recovery Act Projects That Are Changing America”, but he had also accidentally described it a little too accurately as “Enron One”.
The bankrupt company was then taken over by an oligarch with ties to the Russian government. But 40% of the company’s stock had already been controlled by a Russian state-owned bank as collateral for a mere $24 million in loans.
That’s why the “damn bridge” still isn’t fixed.

What’s operative with Solyndra? When the “Executive’s” appeared before congress to explain themselves they took the fifth. My opinion? Most of the tax dollars went back into the coffers of the Democrats.
Nope. It went into the swimming pools of the Solyndra owners and execs. These projects are giant slush funds for “Geeen” Activists … who then go back to bundling big donations to the Democrats. So yes, some of the $$ went back to the Democrats … but these “Green” projects are eyewash cover for using taxpayer $$ to reward the loyal Democrat donors.
Any time you see people sneer and moan about “BIG Oil” … all they mean is they WANT to be as RICH as Oil Industry Titans. But since NONE of their “Green” projects are profitable … the ONLY way they can get $$ rich is on the taxpayers dime. And the only way they can get to the taxpayers dime is to STEAL elections and ensure Democrats NEVER lose power. “Green” is nothing more than a marketing ploy to the voters … and a means to line pockets with taxpayer dollars. Not a damn one of these “Green” projects are economically self-sustaining. None. They are ALL … THEFT … of the cavernously deep pockets of the taxpayers of America.
We don’t have deep pockets. But apparently we have an unlimited line of credit.
But I bet the ‘Big Guy” got his 10%. they always get their percentage of the take. Always. Whereas I get told to shut up and pay my taxes because my money is needed by someone else.

A day late and a dollar short…most of the nation’s big construction labor unions, Ohio included, tripped over themselves in their rush to endorse Biden, most notable Ohio’s UAW who fell for Biden’s “working man from Scranton” schtick and were rewarded with Ford moving their production plant to Mexico after he was sworn in. Shades of the Keystone job massacre.
Although Trump won Ohio, Hamilton County where the Spencer Bridge crosses into from Kentucky voted overwhelmingly for Biden. Figure that one out.
Anyways…maybe it’s paid off, there’s a gazillion dollar infrastructure bill and I’m sure the bridge is mentioned in it somewhere.
What happens when you have no materials to fix these?
The material industry eloped to China and closed down.
Canada is in the same boat, no quality materials available.
Can’t even replace high pressure pipeline because the materials no longer exist.
Our politicians and governments have made sure that it is impossible to recreate the materials we used to use with in country materials over the decades.
By our toxic restrictions and regulations the materials we used to use and create are no longer in existence.
And need many government approval to try and get back.
The money is stolen in Canada exactly the same way.
Think the newly announced announced Moderna vaccine plant will be built anywhere but in quebek? The presser took place in Montreal and was hosted by a guy with a big fwench accent.
What is now taking place amounts to:
1. Arrange for 100% federal funding. No private money will be required.
2. Arrange for librano insiders to assemble the land base the factory will occupy (expect the land sale to result in millions in profits).
3. Arrange a librano contractor to build the factory (expect massive over runs in the cost plus contract).
4. Grease up the local union (mafia) bosses whose cooperation will be necessarily required.
The librano ‘insiders’ have already been tipped off on this project which allowed them the opportunity to purchase the necessary shares in the company’s involved so profits can made. It’s not insider trading when the libranos do it.
The difference between what the media told the naive admiring public and what Obama actually did is so immense that it boggles the mind.
Most people love Obama and have a high opinion of him, and have never EVER heard of any of the evil things he did.
Only a very small number of informed people know that Obama is a liar, a crook and only a microscopic number know he is in fact a psychopath.
Psychopaths have no conscience, feel no guilt, no remorse, will do anything to get what they want, and are often very charming people with lots of charisma…exactly like Obama…
Contrary to popular belief, most psychopaths are NOT murderers or serial killers, but they share a lot of traits with them, for example Ted Bundy was educated, eloquent, very very charming, and that is why he was so successful…at catching victims, murdering them and at hiding who he really was.
I am not saying Obama is a murderer, I am saying he is a psychopath, he is on video telling Americans on 28 different occasions that with ” obama care, they can keep their health plan and doctor” as soon as Obama care was passed, people found out Obama had been lying the whole time; they could NOT keep their plan or doctor…
Lying, deceiving is natural to Obama, he did not hesitate, blink or flinch, he is a psychopath.
Obama has no conscience, no remorse, no guilt and lying to 300 million people was nothing to him.
