          I miss the 1950′ and 60’s dresses from Coco Channel.
          That was some tres chic stuff back then.
          Gorgeous outfits.

          Heck the stuff from the 40’s wasn’t half bad either.

    1. CBC has this poor girl dressed in solid bright colors but they are really bad.
      Looking like a big bird wannabe one day, it was terrible.
      Even the Host was holding back from commenting those colors each day were terrible for her.
      After the Olympics, she’s going to need psychological counseling ya dumb bastards.

    Funny how they got to this state by unionizing the maintenance crew and then deciding they were too expensive to have them picking up trash..So the garbage cans overflow,but they must be ignored ,because these bins can only be emptied on Tuesdays..By members of the correct union and diversity suite.
    The best part is the way they anger the citizens who then start throwing the garbage on the street,as having carried your litter for 3 blocks ,till you see a garbage can,only to find it overflowing and surrounded by flies,just motivates you not to litter..Right?

    Leading Republican recall candidate Larry Elder said he would support abolishing the state’s current minimum wage, according to a Tuesday interview with The Sacramento Bee.

    “The ideal minimum wage is $0.00,” he told the paper.

    “I never have quite understood why a third party, like government, feels like it’s anyone’s business what my relationship is to an individual who willingly sold his labor and my relationship with that person when I willingly bought that labor,” Elder said.

    California law currently has a tiered system for minimum wage: $14 minimum wage for employers with 26 or more employees and $13 for employers with less than 26 employees. According to Elder, the government should not play a role in deciding wages.

    Recent polls show Elder leading all other GOP candidates seeking to unseat Gov. Gavin Newsom in the Sept. 14 recall election…

  11. I know nothing about trashcans. But I can smell the corruption in SF from here.

    You know the best way to get new trash cans would be to have your assistant/secretary contact as many of the Streets and Sanitiation Departments 100 largest US cities as she/he can, and ask them what they use including model #’s, who they buy them from, and how they like them. Maybe throw in a half dozen Canadian and Mexican cities too. Then call the manufacturers and send them your specs. Bet you could buy the best super deluxe model for a few thousand a unit?

    But that doesn’t offer as many opportunities for grifting, grafting, and kickbacks, as a custom San Francisco trash can model competition.

  13. You guys have it all wrong. It’s not about the actual utility of the designer item, it’s all about it looking cool and sexy, when it sits there resplendently surrounded by all the designer garbage than can’t be deposited though the small orifices. I’m only surprised there is no pop out porta potty toilet seat on one side. Surely that would be an improvement on indiscriminate poop on all the sidewalks. Of course these things wouldn’t be emptied on a regular basis anyway, so they figure to divert the viewer’s attention away from the overflowing garbage and poop, by drawing attention to the sexy designer shape.

    As said above, it’s like the US military spending seventeen grand on hammers and toilet seats, there needs to be enough excess in the pricing to cover the costs of bribes.

      OK – you make hammers – and the military will buy your hammers.
      BUT-but- BUT … YOU have to pay for ALL the military’s required, and demanded, Security Protocols.
      This is not cheap. Includes guards patrolling, etc.
      This comes out of YOUR profit on the, maybe, couple of thousand hammers you sell to the military in a year. And the military is NOT going to make exceptions!
