Subtly moving the goalposts

For months we’ve been told that getting vaccinated is the key to protecting yourself from Covid. This fully vaccinated South Dakota nursing home has been having a rough experience as of late, however. Is this a case of the mainstream media hitting the panic button (as we know they like to do), or an indication of a changing trend in infections and/or vaccine effectiveness?

Vaccinated seniors regularly deal with unvaccinated staff, visitors and community residents, face the rise of the more dangerous delta variant, and are less protected by vaccines that previously thought.

    1. Changing the narrative again rather than ever admit that the vaccinations doesn’t work.
Instead, the media wants to blame the unvaccinated for knocking off the vaccinated.

      1. They should blame Ralph Baric and Zhengli Shi for creating this chimera virus and Anthony Fauci for directing the funding to do so.

      2. The jab doesn’t work, or…the elephant in the room…the jab CAUSES Wuhan flu.
The writer blames exposure to family and staff, but those are the same staff that have been there for 18 months.

    2. Now THAT will be deemed *ahem* … “misinformation” … by Zuckerberg-Goebels Minister of State Propaganda. Best not to utter THAT phrase on Facquebook …

  1. The earlier post with the links to the breakdown of vaccine adjacent deaths by age is frightening. 60% of those who died soon after getting jabbed in the US are under the age of 20. Killing kids in the hope of keeping great-grandparents alive longer.

    1. I just crunched some numbers based on US numbers. For someone born today, the average life expectancy is estimated to be 80 years.
3600 dead from the vaccine, average age 5 years old (the average of the under 20 deaths). Effective years of life lost: 270,000 years.
630,000 dead from coronavirus. 94% had comorbidities. If those people had an average life expectancy of 6 months (because of the co-morbidities) then that 94% lose an estimated 296,000 effective years of life. The other 6%, by the average age of when they died, would average about 10 years remaining (based on a quick actuarial lookup). This would be an estimated 387,000 effective years of life.

So the vaccine directly causes 40% of the loss of life (in terms of years of life) as the disease. Doesn’t sound like such a good deal to me. Keep that crap away from my kids.

      1. Informed consent for children would include telling them that in 75 years they will enter a risk category for this virus.

      2. CM, the US numbers were and are bullshit. There is no damn way 630,000 people died from the whu who flu, no way in hell. the CDC have become the biggest liars on the planet and those who believe their crap are in real danger.

        1. that’s 630,000 that died with (not died of). The 6% value are those that we can be pretty sure died of. In other words… yeah.

      EVIDENCE SUMMARY
There are no specific guidelines for use of messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines or contraindications to mRNA vaccines.
No large trials of any mRNA vaccine have been completed yet.
The only evidence on safety of mRNA vaccines comes from small phase I and phase II trials of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, with
follow-up typically less than two months.
Systemic adverse events such as fatigue, muscle aches, headache, and chills are common.
Severe systemic adverse events were reported by 5 to 10 percent of trial subjects.
Localized adverse events such as pain at the injection side are common.
Both systemic and local adverse events usually are resolved within one or two days.
The rate and severity of adverse events appears to be higher for the second dose of vaccine than for the first.
Higher vaccine doses appear to increase the rate and severity of adverse events.
Larger trials of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines are in progress, with results expected in mid-2021.
There is not sufficient evidence to support any conclusions on the comparative safety of different mRNA vaccines.
Direct evidence on the comparative safety of mRNA vaccines and other vaccines is lacking.

Exit question: If the plane you were flying on had a 5-10% chance of crashing, would you go on ?

      1. That was pretty informative. Bottom line: the mRNA vaxes have not been properly tested. And yet, we have health authorities around the world giving them the a.ok. On a board somewhere that I recently read, someone was speculating the vaccines will not be given final approval in the States, as the effectiveness is increasingly questionable and the risk of potential adverse effects is high.

  2. How far away are we from having storm troopers goose stepping up the driveways of the unvaccinated and hauling them off to concentration camps?

  3. This is not a vaccine in the traditional sense. It is a genetic modification. It is also say, experimental. Hence the disturbing side effects. Lastly they are not being subtle in moving the ‘goalposts’.They are doing it with impunity. Worst, most folks simply do not mind or care. I weep for my country. Going for a walk now. Sans mask. With beer. Happy Emancipation Day.Whatever the hell that is.

  4. The Israelis already know that the vaccines lose their effectiveness in about 6 months. So the first group vaccinated, seniors, are the first ones showing the affects of fading vaccine protection.

The CDC has said that the vaccinated are as likely as the unvaccinated to catch and transmit covid19.

So both vaccinated and unvaccinated nurses can infect the residents sick and the vaccine protection for senior citizens has now faded. For these practical reasons, never mind the philosophical reasons to oppose a forced and potentially lethal medical procedure on employees, it makes little sense to mandate vaccinations. Given the poor durability of the vaccines and vaccine breakthroughs, using treatments like ivermectin seems like the obvious choice. Well, in a rational world it would be the obvious choice.

    1. “The CDC has said that the vaccinated are as likely as the unvaccinated to catch and transmit covid19.” Yes they have said that, but look how that fact is being ignored by the media and governments. I am already bring shunned for being unvaxed.

      1. That’s awful that you’re being shunned. I’ve never gotten anything worse than an odd glance or upturned eyebrow when I say I’m not getting one of the mRNA/DNA vaccines. If I add that I’m waiting for more traditional vaccines then the eyebrow almost always goes back down. If you say it with confidence and a smile people are less likely to bother you than if you appear apologetic about your vaccine status.

      2. Really? I’m increasingly amazed at how many people are clueless about the “vaccine” dangers. How can so many people be missing this?

      3. You are not alone, LindaL.
I had to preemptively shun myself, and that was a sad thing.
I really just wanted to avoid the actual messy severance with people on the other side.
Maybe that was too timid, or overly diplomatic, or whatever, but I just don’t want to end things in that way.
Instead, I faded back, went for a nice long walk, strummed my guitar, and hope to see ya’ll on the other side.
Is that defeatist? Perhaps. But what would be better? Punching Karens in the street? Then I would just be in jail without access to a nice long walk outside, and I would miss playing my guitar with a smoke at hand.
        That is where we are.
Anyone have a better plan, other than to resist on the margins?

    2. Good comments. Dr. Robert Malone believes that observations are consistent with the occurrence of ADE.

  5. Kind of a sneaky paragraph there. There was no need to mention interactions with unvaccinated– but they chose to imply that unvaccinated are responsible for the delta variant. It’s nonsense. The main message is that the vaccines aren’t working. No surprise there. The absolute (vs. relative) risk reduction has always been 1-2%. Now a big concern must be the ADE effect, that is, vaxed people becoming more vulnerable to subsequent viruses. The delta variant differs only marginally from earlier versions. Vaccines should protect, that is, if they protect at all.

    1. I noticed that too. No indication as to whether test and trace linked unvaccinated visitors and staff to the infections as opposed to the vaccinated. That’s typical of mainstream media stories like this. Zero digging. Just regurgitate some pre-arranged talking points.

    2. The injections ARE working. They’re doing what they were made to do. But they weren’t made to make you immune or stop you from getting SARS-CoV-2. The “virus” is a multiple-patented bio-weapon. So are the injections. Of course they don’t protect. Why is anybody here still not getting that?

      1. Hey, why have faith in herd immunity then? I never, that’s one reason I didn’t get vaxed, a big lie from the start.

  6. Do the 2 delta “variants” not have the same spike proteins as the previous original virus and it’s mutations?

Think back on every zombie and pandemic movie you have seen. They have been conditioning the world for this one for a long time.

The only way to deal with the infected, is to shoot them in the head. ‘The Walking Dead’ taught me that. ‘World War Z’, ‘Outbreak’, ‘The Earth Dies Screaming’ (1964), …
