I’m Going To Miss The Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is showing signs of recovery with some of the best coral coverage recorded in years, according to a survey of the natural wonder conducted by the commonwealth’s chief independent marine science agency.
The Australian Institute of Marine Science assessment – which found “minimal impact” from last year’s coral bleaching and increases in hard coral across 85 per cent of the reefs surveyed year on year –

  1. The report will be memory-holed before you can blink. Cannot upset the sun god. More hearts must be cut out and sacrifices made.

  2. You would think the green people would celebrate on hearing the news, but alas it’s one less thing they have to scold us for.
They do seem to experience long silences in the same way when we go through a prolonged cold spell.
Of course it’s not really about the climate.

    1. Healthy coral is bad for business. The business of global climate alarmism. The business of wealth transfer from rich white Western nations

  3. Fact is it was never dying. If you’re of the “Skepticism is the chastity of intellect” train of thought…consider it a win.
They were predicting the demise of the Great Barrier Reef since my elementary school days.
I don’t believe a god damned word scientists have to say anymore.

  4. Well thats great for the Great Barrier Reef…Elsewhere it does NOT look good for our Oceans, at least if the below MOVIE Documentary is to be Believed.

I’m not an Eco Tard by any stretch, and always thought the IDIOCY of banning plastic cups and Straws a Complete JOKE: Particularly given 90% of the Ocean HUMAN derived plastic comes from 10 rivers, 8 of which are in Asia – ASIA, where 90% of all fish and seafood in the world is Consumed as well…and therein lies the BIG issue.

The below film goes to great lengths to Educate all….and IMO does an excellent jobthereof.
from the Film: 48% of All ocean plastic is DISCARDED FISHING GEAR which on its own is an issue, but that stuff continues to kill fish every minute of every day……

The biggest issue is INDUSTRIAL SCALE Fishing using massive nets, bottom dragging along with the willfull killing of thousands of Dolphins simply cause they are competition to Chinese and Japanese Fisherman and thousands of sharks for their fins….along with Slave labour used to do the above.

    I HIGHLY Recommend watching this.
