Mostly Peaceful

We’ll hear about it as soon as they choose a cleansing narrative: Does everyone even know what is happening in south africa at this moment?

A friend in South Africa writes;

Yes fortunately, we are far away from it – not THAT far, as there is quite a bit going on in Joburg but that is in another province – as much as it is one hour drive. And of course Durban/KwaZulu Natal – which is the start of the issue. There has been some absolutely appalling looting and damage, many people have lost a huge amount. But on the other side – this is being roundly rejected by many (black) people who are equally horrified and totally furious about what this is doing to the economy and the lives of people. There is a nation-wide wave of determination to stop any potential looters (elsewhere). Such as this one below. The gist is – anyone wants to try this in our area – bring it on. The Taxi associations are black-owned and represent a massive amount of taxis which are the backbone of public transport in SA. There are photos coming to the fore of people taking action against known looters in their areas, taking them and their looted goods to police stations. So yes, the violence isn’t yet quelled – but communities are fighting back against this. What a life. Yes SA is a great place to live in, but not the quietest and calmest….this is not to make it seem as though this is a little problem – it is a big problem. But ordinary people are saying – enough of this shit.

[…]

it is currently localised – in Durban/KZN (KwaZulu Natal province) and it has spread to Joburg because Joburg is the economic hub of SA. But there is the risk it could spread elsewhere, but with the involvement of communities and taxi associations we may see a stop to this. These guys (township residents and the like) don’t hold back when they take up the cudgels.

More on the taxi association action here.

  1. The beginning of the narrative seems to be “Grievances Boil Over in SA” …by the end of the day it will become “Trump and other evil racist whites oppressed innocent hard working blacks so much that they just can’t take it anymore and they’re now demanding reparations for slavery + free cell phones + free Nikes + free big flat-screen TVs.”

    1. Davers6

And the keys to every White Boer owned & Operated food growing plantation….just so as they can “ethnically cleanse” SA.

It does not matter 1 bit. African Tribal shit is inherent in the African Black population….as it has for millennia. One look to Rhodesia and how did that turn out.?? SA has been and continues on the same road. Am betting Islamic incursion soon….

All Emulating/Challenging Zimbabwe/Somalia/Nigeria for the title of Number 1 SHITHOLE on their continent. The US has entered into similar sweepstakes with Chicago leading the Democrap pack, Portland – Seattle and SanFran Cisco viable contenders.

      1. Average IQ in SA is 77. If you strip out Whites, Coloureds and Indians (total ~7 million?), it drops to the mid 60’s.

The US deems you too retarded to peel potatoes for the Army at IQ levels below 83. That is the first standard deviation above average for SA. These people suffer mass unemployment becaude they are simply not employable in industrial and technological societies. In this sense, I agree with the EFF. Give these people a home on a plot of land (smallholding) and let them grow their own food, and tend a few cows, ducks and chickens to sustain themselves.

They are wholly ill-equipped for any decent kind of life in a big city in the 2020’s.

        1. at 77 IQ, they not capable of raising chickens
          they need supervision

Need a B’wana on every farm

  2. Something about the jailing of a former President and people aren’t liking it much.

    1. That’s an excuse. This has more to do with extended lockdowns coupled with shortages and 42% unemployment. The SA Reserve Bank wrote about this last year – that these Covid lockdowns would wreck SA’s economy.

Big Health is to blame for this one.

  3. A friend down there says its primarily because of the unending Covid lockdowns. Chronically unemployed people will get desperate and angry. Canada should take note.

    1. Hunger plays very bigly.
When you have no food in your belly cause one of your tribal members slaughtered all the white farmers, shit is going to hit the fan.

      1. Can’t fix hunger by looting and burning electronic stores. The whole hunger thing is just a left wing talking point to give these criminals an excuse to tear down the society that they revile.

  4. There will be no narrative as they don’t even care to create one. Death and mayhem over there does not matter. They are more concerned with the death and mayhem they can create over here.

  5. Durban, Chicago and Baltimore. All the looting has something in common. The looters.
Now class here’s a multiple choice question for 10 points. The perps are:
    1) Norwegians
    2) Laotians
    3) Peruvians
    4) Black Africans

    1. “Durban, Chicago and Baltimore. All the looting has something in common. The looters.……….correct, and they are the same socio-economic class, shiftless, work-shy, envious blacks. Look at the photos coming out of SA and you will see people clothed exactly the same as Baltimore, Minneapolis, Portland-expensive runners, brand name clothing, usually hoodies. I would bet they all have expensive cel-phones on which they can watch and emulate the chimping-out antics of their US brethren. And the targets for these supposedly starving people-large screen TVs, stereo equipment, designer fashions-all to stave off the hunger pangs.

If you cannot see the danger of BLM feeding the grievances, and talk of reparations because you happen to have darker skin (yes, you too canadian indians) then you are blind, low IQ people are easily roused. Weak politicians are dangerous.

  6. That’s been going on for years. My late mother used to go to a physician who emigrated from South Africa soon after apartheid ended. He saw the writing on the wall and he was saddened by what was happening there.

    1. BA

Same, wife n m’self have newdoc…South African Boer. Same reasons…and identical to our SUN Life Rep…he was the guy (and wife), that had to swim from that Italian Cruise ship that ran aground against an island in the Med a few yrs back…??

Laurence Davies- a Super Decent human Being..!!

    2. Sad indeed. Spent a winter there three years ago and remember this comment: if we didn’t have these troubles, everyone would live here. Every property had electronic gates and security signs posted. Two decades earlier, neither existed. Gradual change trumps sudden.

  7. Has anyone told the 95% of Africa that doesn’t live in South Africa that when they move south all they have to do is go to the stores and they can pick out whatever they want to outfit their house?

  8. They had supermarkets in SA? I thought those would have gone the way of all the white people.

    1. Hi Doug: South Africa has beautiful shopping malls, together with many informal trading areas. They have a huge industry and mining sector, with amazing abundance of agricultural land as well. Strong fishing industry. Wonderful road and rail infrastructure. Everything that a country needs for prosperity and health. The sad part is that the political class and their hangers on think only of their own enrichment, never of the good of the population.

      1. “the political class and their hangers on think only of their own enrichment”

Yeah, that’s how blacks think. Always and only tribal.

  9. As a Canadian resident in RSA during the change over in the early nineties, I can report on the huge optimism among the black citizens who believed they would finally gain happier lives. Instead, as it was commonly put, “The gravy train slowed for the black leaders to jump on.” The millions of regular people benefited little or at all. Zuma and his whole government and the governments before and since are almost all on the take. Just read the articles at “News 24” about ESKOM, the South African electricity giant. Then multiply by every state related entity. The break down now is orchestrated by the state and its clients. Food and pharmaceutical supply chains are broken.
What follows will be societal collapse and imposition of totalitarian rule. There are decently run countries in Africa: unfortunately many are being subverted by Belt and Road China paying off leaders for access to Africa’s riches. Weep…….

  10. what is happening in south africa now is what will happen to north america very soon.

the dragging store owners into the streets, beating them up, murdering a few of them , the looting and burning down of several hundreds of businesses last year by BLM was a taste of what is coming.

This is not a prediction, it is the observation of a fact.

    1. CdnFriend

      Sadly, I have to agree…
I continue to silently pray for the overdue BIG one….with a tsunami of 3-400′ …. time for a LEFT COAST Cleansing. I also note that there is a category 5 level fault line running through NY State…? Might it go as well at the same time…?? T’would wipe out all the Leftist Filth in North America in one fell swoop.

huh what..?? Oh, gee,,,,,, my my..!! (peering out my bedroom window as I wake up), look at all that wildfire smoke..that was quite the quasi lucid dream yea.??

    2. C F, It is already here. We just don’t have the all the violence yet. Stores are being looted and destroyed in America, businesses have been destroyed by governments. The politicians are raiding the treasury daily and every special interest group in the country is at the trough. There soon will not be enough, then the merde will hit the fan. As others have said, hungry people will take what they need and will take it from anyone and everyone, that includes Prime Ministers and Premiers, cops, judges, the military anyone who is threatening their ability to survive. Canada is in a very precarious position after the whu who flu insanity.

  11. South Africa has gotten a little worse every year since the end of white rule. Don’t know how bad things will get but the trajectory is obvious.

  12. Jacob Zuma has exploited the legal process for almost two decades on rape charges in which his victim, the daughter of a colleague, faced huge intimidation, later over 800 corruption charges for which he has not stood trial. He is in jail for contempt of court by ignoring the sub poenas to be interrogated in the State Capture Inquiry ie the looting of state assets which expanded enormously during his tenure and from which his family has benefited hugely. That he is finally in jail is huge, the legal system has finally exerted some traction over him. Ramaphosa, the current president, has a very weak grasp on the ruling party stuffed with cronies. The riots are easily stoked by those eager to escape investigation but they are concentrated in two of the nine provinces. Covid has fuelled the distaste of ordinary people for obvious corruption and ineffective government. This moment was inevitable. I just hope Ramaphosa has used his time to plan for dealing with it and rounding up the treasonous and kleptocratic.

  13. The cities may control the mayhem for a time but outside of urban areas is wide open. You had better be prepared to defend yourself to your last breath.

SA is descending into tribal madness.

    1. Interesting fact, the first slaves in Jamaica were white English and very white Irish.

      1. Oh! You mean like Kampala Heiresses great, great, grandfather?

As an aside … just how did Britain manage to make Jamaica a profitable place? What? By making cane sugar, Rum … and the Playboy Club? Here’s an idea for the Natives of Jamaica … how about replicating the English success? How about not having an island that is an 85% No Go Zone for whites and tourists? My advice to all who take shore excursions from cruise ships? Don’t venture very far at all from the dock. You’ll be taking your life and valuables in your hands.

  14. The churches that preached anti-apartheid sermons 40 years ago are mysteriously silent on the situation in South Africa. Deposing whites was always the objective and now that they aren’t in power any more, who cares? “Social justice” has been done and the “social gospel” has been successfully fulfilled.

    1. Black Natives can operate a prosperous nation just as easily as a bunch of racist old white dudes … right? OTOH … perhaps this cultural collapse is the feature not a bug? A return to the every man for himself primitive culture of Africa before the arrival of those baaaaad Christian whites? And the elimination of capitalism in S.Africa is good for the planet too! Right?

      1. So far their failure has been phenomenal. If they tried to fail then their efforts would be considered a success.

  15. Let me add that simpleton Rock Stars who are good with music … but not so good at lyrics … are partly to blame for dumbing-down generations of D+ students.

    Out where the river broke
The blood-wood and the desert oak
    Holden wrecks and boiling diesels
    Steam in forty-five degrees

    The time has come
    To say fair’s fair
    To pay the rent
    To pay our share

    The time has come
    A fact’s a fact
    It belongs to them
    Let’s give it back

OK. We’ve given it back. And … Rob Hirst… what self-righteous lyric are you gonna pen now?

  16. My wife and I (both seniors) did a three week, coast to coast drive through S. Africa and Swaziland just 4 years ago – against the advice of our Joburg raised son-in-law. Best trip we ever did. Never felt endangered and we were surprised at what appears to be a growing black middle-class in the cities.

OTOH, we arrived at a Karoo region farm based B&B after dark and were surprised to be greeted by an armed, uniformed security guard who accompanied us from the parking area to the lodging. Also surprised that ADT Security was everywhere – kitted out like combat soldiers – kevlar vests, AR-15’s and uniforms. It’s true that virtually everyone in city suburbs has not only private armed security, but that walls and gates are topped with either strings of barbed wire or embedded broken glass.

Still, I’d love to go back again……

    1. Keep rolling the dice No Guff. Reminds me of a Canadian I met in Mexico relating how at one time he and the wife liked to stray off the resort every so often to visit those parts no one else does. Y’know…”see how Mexicans really live”
      Uh huh.
He doesn’t do it anymore. Some need to learn the hard way.

  17. Just because you never felt in danger doesn’t mean it wasn’t there or exist.

I was in the US a dozen years or so and stopped at a service station to fuel up.
It was getting late and I was on the edge of a rez. I saw a road on a map that cut through the rez and would shorten my drive. I asked the gal at the station if the road was ok. She paused and looking directly at me suggested it wouldn’t be a good idea for me to drive through there.

I didn’t bother to ask why.

  18. Hmmm……perhaps the regime that enacted Apartheid knew something about the peopIe of the country that the rest of us were not aware of…….

Strangely enough, I don’t feeI any better for predicting exactIy this outcome when I was a young man…..peopIe just Iaughed at me and said I was a racist.

I wonder where those peopIe are now? (University facuIty no doubt)

  19. On The Ground UP Date on South Africa. Not MSM, because the MSM does not want the Commie ANC or the Commies in Cuba to be shown for what they are….
In South Africa. Guns are saving lives. Never give up your guns. You will need them…
If you don’t have one get one. Bonus Point. Learn to reload ammo.

  20. South Africa quickly became the world capital of rape and murder after Mandela ” liberated” them from the big bad whites.

SA is still in the top 5 of the planet as far as rape and murder rates are concerned, it is beyond a hell hole.

Strangely the main stream media for decades has managed to hide from the masses the fact that South Africa has been descending into violence more every year, raping, torturing, murdering more whites every year.

For most people it is a surprise that there is violence in SA, because the media, the very very dishonest media has been refusing to inform people about it for decades.

The silence of the media makes them accomplices.

The media are the enemy of truth.

    The media are the enemy.

They also hide the violence of BLM and Antifa.

    The media are the enemy.
