  1. CBC is also saying the churches challenging the lock downs are “cult like”. It’s this kind of nonsense that shows this is not about a virus and it has nothing to do with anything but suppression of dissent and CBC is Canada’s pravda.

        People still pay attention to the floor stickers? I never did and I go through the “wrong” doors as often as I can. Nobody’s ever stopped me.

        4. I was with a friend at a store to quickly purchase something and we were reminded by a series of twits WHO WERE SHOPPING WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND TOUCHING EVERYTHING that the floor stickers kept everyone safe.

          This is why if there is ever a zombie apocalypse, I am tripping those people.

  3. Not only are Canadians sheeple, we are willfully blind as well. Political repression, masking, covid, arrested for running a business or preaching at a church. On and on, and we shrug our shoulders and complacently accept these curtailments…..because why? How do we not see our lives and freedoms are being systematically stolen from us, right under our noses. When an actual politician, a pastor, a legitimate business owner, a traveler, can be arrested for doing regular things that were completely normal and accepted eighteen months ago, for a flu virus less deadly than a regular flu, it has gone too far to ever go back, and we are truly lost. The government paid off the media, and we accepted it, the government has destroyed lives and businesses, and we accepted it, and now we accept these latest transgressions. (not to mention the thousands of others the government has done) The police are also complicit, if any had ethics or morals they would resign. What will we accept next, yellow stars, cattle cars, and internment camps for the non compliant? Silly me, of course we will!

  7. RE Akin – using the number of people Joe Biden was able to attract to his rallys as a metric (and the electoral result), I see Max getting the most votes ever received by a Prime Minister – by a huge margin.

    So Mr. Akin – is the ability to draw crowds indicative of electoral popularity or not?

    1. How right you are. I and a friend experienced a situation yesterday that was reminiscent of something out of the Thirties in Germany just because we have an opposing view of politics from the rest of the sheep in our club. Bottom line is that I have been saying here for years that Liberals and Democrats are nothing more than Nazis in clown costumes. Well the costumes have now been discarded and we can see the new Hugo Boss uniforms. The Minister for Justice in America has now stated that if your friends, neighbours or even members of your family display opinions contrary to what is espoused by the party then they should be reported upon. We’re only six months into the Biden Reich, what will happen in the next couple of years is anyone’s guess, but a few of us are students of history and are cognizant of what is coming.

  10. I wonder if I will live long enough for people to catch up to me? Some have, and I see things on many other sites reflecting what I have said. It is a sad commentary on life today when an old man at the end of his life is pissed off at people he doesn’t know, yet realizes they are willing to destroy everything their ancestors built for an ideology that is just plain bullshit. Put your fucking mask on and shut up, says everything.

  11. L – In Communist China, the regime raids churches and jails Pastors and Priests. It also jails opposition leaders and makes illegal peaceful assemblies that would discuss or criticize it’s totalitarian policies.

    In a free and democratic society, there would be other political parties and leaders and a free
    press who would object to arbitrary measures, that clearly violate citizen’s Charter Rights and Freedoms. This whether, they agreed with the policies or statements of politician or churches under attack or not. Because they support the process foundational to a liberal democracy.

    Presently, in Canada the lack of criticism of government repression indicates a moral and
    political collapse/surrender by both the MSM and the MSM political parties. They no longer support even the concept of self-government, by sovereign citizens, who merely delegate their
    authourity(temporarily) to elected representatives, and thus retain that individual sovereignty.

    Canadians have to shoulder their responsibility to retain Canada, as a free and democratic society, or surrender to enemies both foreign and domestic. The refugees and descendents of refugees who fled totalitarian states, e.i. Soviet Union, Red China et al,

    Canada’s prognosis of surviving the Panic-demic, as a nation-state; it’s chances are 10% to 30%.

    Then it was “Good Enough for Government” And “How dare you people question our authority”
    Soon to be followed by “We did the best we could,all things considered”…

    To me the cause of Covid,the modelling of its potency and all those wonderful “Intention” of our “Good Government Minions”,these are all no longer all that important.
    ACTIONS.
    What our minions did to us,now that we can measure.
    That we can judge against our own before and after knowledge.

    They failed.
    No way around that.
    The Government run healthcare denied normal people access.
    The Government forbid all our rights,freedoms and due process of law..ironically to “Save Civilization”.
    Sorta like they euthanize the elderly to save them from living.
    The panic,incompetence and wanton destruction have cost us far more,than any illness could have managed.
    Now in hindsight,The Dread Covid seems as real as Emperor Justine’s common sense and integrity.

    Turned out the virus was not weapons grade and failed to create pandemic chaos..
    But the Government Help,now that did the job.
    Economic Destruction Nation Wide.
    For citizens trapped in Government “Care” deaths by the thousands.
    For free citizens ? Mere hundreds.
    Civilization?
    Denied to all but the “Law Makers” who were immune to the Mystical Dread Virus..

    When you destroy civil society,while claiming you are saving it..
    You reveal yourself fools..
    At best.
    Unfit for any position of authority anywhere,any time.
    My prediction.
    These same fools and bandits will now double down.
    Demanding we praise them for their help and persecuting each and every citizen who asks them to account for their actions.
    For these are persons with Delusions of Adequacy.

    Well that or the sure knowledge they must all cover ass together or swing together..

  13. I thought it was one of President *’s campaign rallies, at first. So Max can take heart that he’s doing as well as the person who received the most votes in US election history. Sarc.

  14. I keep hearing ‘we have to do something’ when it comes to mask enforcement. It’s true. We must.

    Based on my experience over a number of weeks I have been going into stores and other public areas sans mask. I would estimate that 7 out of 10 times no one looks twice, let alone ask me to ‘mask-up’. People continue to wear their masks because St. Bonnie tells them to – never mind that some 70% of the population is vaccinated at least once, plus another 145,000 here in BC who have natural immunity due to covid recovery. In all probability, many of those un-vaccinated have already developed natural immunity, due to exposure but without exhibiting symptoms.

    With current numbers (we get only 3-4 new cases daily in our region of VI) so low and individual immunity so widely dispersed, the chance of meeting a covid infected individual is vanishingly small and assuming you have immunity yourself, they present no danger whatsoever. Yet we the immunized willingly continue to accept St. Bonnie’s denial of science and demonstrate our fealty to her great powers by continuing to mask.

    Take it off. No one is likely going to confront you, but if you run into Karen or Ken, with a smile, say “I’m immunized and a mask serves no purpose for either you or I”. In my recent experience, the most likely to ask you to mask up will be an employee who is simply trying to maintain employer policy. Don’t get mad at them. Again, say “I’m immunized” but if you insist I mask, please know that it is a violation of the Canadian Charter” and then wear your mask or shop where your smiling face is welcomed.

    We’re in a herd mentality where we’re self enforcing due to peer pressure of those who would rather comply than be independent. We should set an example and give them courage. Take off your mask and I’m sure others will begin to follow.

    Remember: “If it is to be, it is up to me”.

    ***BTW, my wife tends to be a real ‘rules follower’, but today she told me she “didn’t wear her mask in the concourse of our local mall”, though she did wear it in stores. Baby steps.
