In a Facebook post, School Strike 4 Climate’s Auckland chapter said it was shutting down because it “has been a racist, white-dominated space.” It directed people concerned about climate change to Indigenous-led groups and said it would not be organizing any more climate strikes.

This is Life of Brian level stuff. If you can’t be important in your first group, quit and form your own.
Your objectives might be exactly the same, but the important bit is that you are now part of the steering committee.
Remember Lefties believe that they know what is best for everyone, and by extension, should be in charge. When they feel like they are getting enough respect from their peers they use their little clubs to attack the rest of society.
When they don’t, they attack each other.
Contrary to what the Left will tell you, the desire to be in charge, total charge, is a Leftie Trait. (After all, they know what is best for everyone).
Conservatives only want to be in charge of their own destiny and the destiny of their immediate loved ones. Everyone else can go do their own little thing elsewhere, just as long as they don’t start disrupting the Conservative or the Conservative’s family.
This is why you will see ‘Left’ groups rise, make a lot of public noise, and then collapse into in-fighting, while ‘Right’ groups only really crop up if you REALLY start to push them around and then disperse back to doing their own thing once their concerns are addressed.
Lefts want to be in change. Rights want to be left alone.
