  1. Well at least celebrate by burning the old red liberal/french rag.
Why celebrate the symbol of your oppressor and a criminal organization.
That’s like a former slave flying the Confederate Flag..

    1. Hey, I’m with you. I can’t wait till the bun fights start. No matter who starts it Quebec, Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia it does not matter. Provinces will find themselves in bun fights with both the feds and with their own counties over where the new borders will be. BC may just find itself one-quarter of the size it is now.

      https://nationalpost.com/opinion/conrad-black-the-quebec-secessionist-strategy-disrupt-the-status-quo-of-indifference

“… the federalist parties should agree that in the event of any province voting on a clear question by a substantial majority to secede from Canada, it may do so but all counties of that province that vote to remain in Canada and are adjacent to other provinces, shall secede from the secessionist province and remain in Canada. Provinces are no less divisible than Canada.” Conrad Black

      1. Why would we even consider the Clarity Act it is not a part of the Constitution and is basically an agreement to negotiate on Ottawa’s terms and use Ottwa’s appointed and rigged judicial system.
The correct and Internationally recognized way to obtain Freedom is UDI, Universal Declaration of Independence the same as the USA did with it’s Declaration of Independence.
It is legal and was ruled Legal by the International Court. And Canada at the time supported the ruling and recognized the legality of UDI.

        https://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/jul/22/kosovo-independence-un-ruling

        1. Yes, that was then. It didn’t work out so well for the people of Biafra, and the government of Rhodesia didn’t get very far with UDI. East Timor and South Sudan did manage to gain their independence, but both paid a pretty high price.

      2. Not true. Provinces JOIN Confederation as PREEXISTING ENTITIES. They were not “granted” their boundaries after Confederation. Such counties are free to lobby yhe Provincial Court to grant them the right to leave. But Confederation required existing geopolitical entities. These entities did not simply cease to exist since they joined Confederation.

And by Black’s logic, those who did not vote for Turdeau, can simply ignore his government and do their own thing. Pay the tax rates they see fit to pay, since they didn’t vote for him.

        1. Wasn’t Quebec’s boundary altered by the federal government twice in 1896 and 1912? Prior to 1896 Quebec was about 1/3 of its current size.

          1. There were only two “additions” to Provinces (oh and the NWT split, but that was by mutual agreement): Quebec ‘lost’ Labrador (their claim to it was never recognised by anyone other than them anyway) and got some other stuff, and Newfoundland ‘got’ Labrador.

BC and Alberta joined with their existing borders, no?. So, no, sorry Conrad Black, nice article. But pure entertainment!

  2. As I said in an earlier thread on this topic: “Meh!”

I haven’t celebrated “Canada” in nearly 20 years. I don’t miss it at all!

    As James said… “Faster, please!”

  3. So no more pretentious displays of multiculturalism by preening politicians seeking another photo op for the next election.
    What’s the down side again?

  4. Has a single body or bones been exhumed? Have any signs of foul play been confirmed by an accredited (apolitical) medical examiner?

    Hysteria

    Pure … prefabricated … hysteria

      1. Tuberculosis was a scourge during the late 1800s and early 1900s, and the schools were not exempt. TB sanitoriums (sanitoria?) were built everywhere – there was one in Kamloops – and those who were diagnosed with TB were shipped there willy-nilly. You still hear the occasional old-timer remarking about how people in the community just disappeared; that is often where they went. Native communities were more at risk because – apart from their lack of immunity – their traditional living quarters enabled the spread of the disease.

But what you won’t hear is that – as the disease ravaged the natives who had no immunity to it – there were initiatives to try to stop the death toll. “Preventoriums” were set up to treat native children who showed early symptoms of the disease. They were taken from their communities and kept in these hospital-like residences with the hope that fresh air and other treatments (we’re talking pre-antibiotics here) would enable the children to overcome TB. Didn’t always work, but a fair few got a second chance at living.

          1. Whitey brought TB to the continent, therefore whitey is evil. Whitey must pay up. No questions will be entertained.

    1. How long are they going to keep this stupid story going for? They know no one cares right?

      1. CBC is running an “ad” during commercial breaks. It’s just an orange screen with the words “All Children Matter.” My local Catholic elementary school’s sign say’s “We Pray for our Indigenous Children.” Every, single, frickin’ flag is lowered. They’ll keep this story going until we all care. I, for one, don’t give a damn.

    2. Has a single body or bones been exhumed?

Remember what happened with Kennewick Man? After all that foofaraw, do you honestly think that any of those graves will ever be examined?

    3. Kenji:

YES. I just sent Kate some pics of 100s of little orange t-shirts on hangers on sticks along the boulevard leading out to UBC.
Interesting little psy-ops being put together here.

Your questions are sound, and fair.

    4. Yes.

Though opposition is futile in this country.
In fact opposition is with the program.

      So then you have that.

  5. Really Really Nice Curtains dept.
“A late motion brought forward Thursday by Mayor Lisa Helps and Coun. Marianne Alto”

  6. Hey
    Ho
    Can-a-da
    Has got
    to go.

We have become a fucking tire fire.

Good old Victoria where all too many dickheads speak with a fake English accent so to me its surprising that this anti-Canada shyte is thriving there. Oh well.

  7. You guys are missing the point, this is pure cultural marxism, by the most leftist of city councils. They aren’t going to let you seperate.

  8. End of a nation that never was…once a imperial colony decommissioned in 1931 and never properly reconstituted as a sovereign nation, now devolving to confused feral centralized klepto-communism.

  9. I have never celebrated Canada day. All other big fireworks days? Sure, why not. Well, this year’s Canada day, I will be blowing up fireworks for the whole neighborhood to see.

  10. The could rename Victoria. Pick a native name so we can celebrate their culture. Perhaps Tlaloc?

Just be careful if children are invited to celebrate.

    1. Minneapolis did that with Lake Calhoun.
It is now Bde Maka Kaska.
John C. Calhoun was an evil Southern Politician, no longer worthy of rememembrance.

“AND DON’T YOU FORGET IT!!!” Some raging masked Karen with an ECLA haircut shrieked at me.

  11. The only way out, as I said in another thread, is a political movement around a “one citizenship” model where there is no deference to racial identity or never-ending reconciliation of that which cannot be reconciled. Unless we all go back to Europe (and Asia, I suppose) the first nations will never see what they would consider full justice, but then they would be forced back into the stone age, one imagines that they have only a few per cent of the technological ability to sustain this lifestyle for more than a few years.

They may want that, but I don’t think it would end well. But in any case, we have been here for many generations and there will never be a return to ancestral homelands, if any political party were crazy enough to float that idea they would be crushed in any election.

The answer is clearly a model of one citizenship, moving on from the endless antagonisms and ending all special privileges. If there should not be white privilege, then why should there be any other form of privilege?

Globalists won’t accept the one citizenship model because it undermines their hidden agenda, which is a multi-cultural world that gradually extinguishes the white or European presence over several generations. We are about one quarter of the way down the road to that goal already, and we need to consult each other about ways of ending the drift, before this nightmare vision becomes a reality. It won’t be an improvement, I think we can all guess who will come out on top in such a defenseless social order. Those victors will then have each other to confront at a future time; we will in fact be eliminated if this agenda goes forward, because of simple demographics. Within three generations I would venture to say that white people will be quite an unusual sight in any part of the world. There are many people out there who would cheer such a development. I suppose for someone approaching the end of life anyway, it probably doesn’t matter much but I hate to think of the unintended consequences of this trend — I can’t see any good coming of it.

    1. The wretched of the earth are never going to accept a system that considers what they truly deserve.

With very few exceptions, what they deserve is extinction, and for their blessed ancestral homelands to be transferred to people with whom their Creator is much better pleased.

It will be easy to put that “one citizenship” model into practice in any given nation—when it is truly one nation, and all other pretenders to the dominion of the nation have died or scattered.

    2. “ Globalists won’t accept the one citizenship model ”

      Actually they do.
It’s just that they want the authority to determine what it is, who gets full citizenship with them in control of a global tax regime.

Sort of like the old Roman Empire.

    3. The First Nations would not find themselves back in the Stone Age. The government of China would be at the door offering “fraternal assistance”, and building roads, schools, lacrosse stadia, and maybe even water treatment plants (which they would happily operate). Probably even low-cost electronics.

    1. USA North…is Canada now. Just 10 years behind.
In my early years, I grew up in young Toronto for a few years. Then moved to northern Ontario.
20 years later, I moved Kingston, Ontario and had that same feeling to it.

  12. Well….I’m hoping NENXI does the same….I could care less about Kanada.

On the other hand, I care greatly about the West and in particular, Alberta – Sask – Interior of BC. NORMALLAND….(for now).

Cancelling Canada Day celebrations is fine by me…And it should “save” about 500,000 dollars of our Calgary taxes that will sure as shit, be spent on some other Piece of BS Art…

    1. “My Canada includes giant, circular, metallic, outrageously expensive light posts!”

  13. Don’t get me wrong, I fully intend to take advantage of the day off by getting shit faced at the lake and going to work hungover the next day. That being said, it’s excellent news that Canada Day is being canceled. Vote Maverick

  14. Meh.
I did not leave Canada Canada left me.
What a journey toward a new country, without moving one foot.
There is no one in Can ahh duh to represent me and I have no common interest with freeloaders and thieves..
Sooner we establish the land of Beef, barley and oil,the sooner we can stop supporting people who hate us and seek to use our own work against us.

I feel the same love toward these parasites as they have demonstrated for me.

    1. What a change from when I was a child, then a young man and now an old man. I feel like I truly am living in what many call the end times. How far we have fallen and I have watched it all. Sad people, living in their sad fascist tyranny and liking it.

  15. The same politicians that defend the current apartheid system and seek to strengthen that apartheid are the same politicians that kiss the ground walked upon by the Indian leaders and don’t hesitate to cancel Dominion Day as a servile gesture. Residential schools, as imperfect and apparently abusive as they were was likely the last serious attempt at assimilation as a way of breaking the cycles of continuous poverty, deprivation, and abuse within the government sponsored racial ghettos called Indian Reserves. The recent “discovery” of the Kamloops graves which were already known about are just an excuse for the next round of showtime for the Indian grievance industry.

    1. “…the next round of showtime for the Indian grievance industry.”

This quote should win the internet for the year.
American friends insert the word “black” for “Indian.”

      1. Be proud, we still have 80% racist whites left…
As our politicians and media show they ‘hate’ their white skin.

Don’t forget your gay flag, they want us to have a gay Summer.

        1. Not just the flag, either. Saw a fire truck pulling out of my local station the other day; covered in the pride flag colours. Park/city benches too, according to my husband.

  16. To Hell with “the city”.

What if REAL PEOPLE (both of them) come out and parade for “Kanaduh Day” and are smashed by the usual suspects?

Do you reckon that might “clarify” a few things”?

Will anybody publicly give a whatever?

    There’s your answer.

  17. They are using the mass grave as an excuse for the impossible task to get a firework display ready in 2-3 weeks when they normally have 3-6 months and not have it be the start of cancel Canada. When cities normally place the order for fireworks from China for July they had other things to worry about.

    1. It’s not a “mass grave”. Stop using that phrase. It is inaccurate and deliberately so.

  18. Heh … they voted for them and those they voted for will be reelected for a bright and sunny future. there will be no clouds and no meat only lotus to eat.
    Who you gonna call?

  19. Pierre started the process. Now Justin is finishing it. God save us from any more Trudeaus.

I celebrated “Dominion Day”. I stopped when Pierre unilaterally changed the name. Can you imagine if Reagan, or Clinton, or either Bush decided to change the name of “Independence Day”? They would have been impeached.

  20. But Multi-Culti makes everything better … or else. “Hallelujah, Hallelujah , da de dah, what’s it to yah !”
Your fiends at The Ministry of Love.

  21. Canada is not a country. Not a nation. To boot, it is clearly illegitimate. Which raises questions about the validity of Confederation in the first place. Secession is unnecessary. The entire construct of Canada is illegitimate. The government is illegitimate, seeing as it is occupying unceded First Nations territory. The Government of Canada is an Occupying Power, under the UN articles as written, and signed. Therefore, taxes must cease immediately, the country is cancelled, all Supreme Court judgments are null and void. Everything must be torn down and rebuilt. Redesigned. Canada must be broken up into their First Nations tribal territories.

So-called “Canadians” must get in the faces of ALL their government officials, and state they are illegitimate, amd must immediately resign. All public infrastructure must be removed, and the land returned to its rightful inhabitants. All taxes are henceforth illegal under UN articles and International Law.

Canada does not legally exist. Canada’s government is illegitimate, and has no legal authority. That makes Canada’s government a criminal organisation.

That IS the endstate of these investigations into Canada’s dealings with First Nations people.

Failing that, I call on China’s PLA to FORCIBLY REMOVE the organs and apparatus of the illegal Canadian settler squatter state immediately. The PLA MUST invade, round up and execute all “Canadian” government and judicial officials who refuse to confess their guilt, and free Canada’s First Nations people from the groaning yoke of illegal occupation.

Watch those Liberal pr1cks reverse themselves at light speed.

  22. My father escaped from Bolshevik Russia in the early 1920’s. When I was a kid, he would tell me that “Canada really isn’t a country”. He was right all along. It’s time to dismantle it.
