32 Replies to “Mark Carney”

  1. I’m ashamed to say that Carney works for me. He’s a director of Brookfield Asset Management and I own shares in that company. I voted against him when I submitted my proxy, though I don’t think it made any difference.

On the other hand, I have shares in Enbridge and TC Energy (formerly known as TransCanada Pipeline).

  2. He was a Governor of Bank of Canada and Bank of England. You don’t get anymore Globalist-Bankster-Wanker than that. Which is why he’s all in for every pet cause of the Davos elite. He deserves every verbal thrashing he gets because he’s a sock puppet for globalism.

    1. Yes, but the question must be asked whether it’s a blind squirrel proof when he gets something right, or he’s pulling a Trump and knows the guts of the system within which he must work well enough to have a righteous indignation and the knowledge “I would run this a helluva lot better than these bozos”.

I think it’s the first explanation, but Canada really needs someone of the second type.

    2. But, but, but … he’s dedicated to an “energy transition”. Here. Let me define THAT term for you. The people of Canada will have their CHEAP, PLENTIFUL, and RELIABLE energy replaced by: Necessarily COSTLY, SCARCE, and INTERMITTENT sources of energy.

And if you don’t like it? You’re not a loyal Canadian. And you don’t understand global economics … or something.

  3. Carney sees himself as the white knight of the LPC to swoop in and take over the Party after the Spawn crashes and burns but he has nothing to offer but the same mythically green bromides of centrally planned transition of fossil fuel to renewables (unreliables), which are unachievable in anything resembling a modern clean prosperous economy. What these clowns are doing is engineering a shortage of oil supply which will see prices skyrocket before getting anywhere near an actual transition which can only be to nuclear power (if you value prosperity) and the longer the delay to nuclear and the longer the dead end of unreliables are pursued, the worse the outcome. Ontario’s energy poverty is just a hint of what will happen.

    1. “What these clowns are doing is engineering a shortage of oil supply which will see prices skyrocket” hence their own investments in oil and gas elsewhere while our oil & gas industries here in Canada are hobbled by neglect and stupid pie-in-the-sky green policy.

    2. I have a similar theory.
He’s the perceived white Knight of the party establishment that wants him in the PMO because of the 800 lbs gorilla in the room.
      This is like Ignatieff 2.0.
The establishment has been shining his apples to get him into the party since 2015 when they realized how big a mistake it was to let another Trudeau get the leadership. Carney is of the manor borne and looks at politics the same way Iggy does. What he just got a taste of is what reality is about to befall him should he actually warm a seat in the HoC.
I would also suggest that after this encounter Carney had two discussions one with his immediate family and one with the establishment backers wanting him in the HoC.
I’m also guessing the one with the establishment was a reality check in which Carney either wants to commission a political hit job on the member for Carlton or he’s decided that politics isn’t something he’s interested in.
If it’s the later confirmation will be made through one of the Ottawashed scribes such as Ivison trotting out some talking point that Carney is now pursuing an appointment to some UN committee.

      But I digress.

What you just witnessed in that committee meeting was the Achilles heel of the liberal party. Namely that the liberals only election platform has a shelf life that is reaching his best before date.
The down side for the CPC is their leader is already contaminated goods.

      1. Iggy was/is an intellectual. All theory. Carney has/does move big levers. Big F**king Difference.
If he becomes Canada’s Grand Poohbah he’ll only have to answer the odd softball lobbed by the subject press.
Even in the HoC he can get others to answer for him.
He may indeed go elsewhere and I hope he does because if he believes he’s on some mission from Gaia, and he’s to replace Juthtin and become a real Prime Minister, we’re in a heap of pig shit.

  4. If you are wondering which of those two gentlemen have Albertans best interest in mind, just ask yourself which of the two could be elected here.

    1. Carney would sweep Edmonton in an instant. Too many leftists and Dipper sympathizers here.

      1. And he carrrrrreeees about Global Warming. And Canadians are such carrrrrreee-ing people.

  5. Another Globalist Parasite. Ha Ha Ha. Canada can not vote itself out of this mess. Canada is not a Democracy in anyway shape or form.
It is still a Colony. No longer a colony of Great Britain. Because the PM now holds all the Powers of the Sovereign. The Provinces are now Colonies of Ottawa and the PM.
There is no way anything can ever be resolved inside Canada.
The best we can hope for is that enough people wake up and quit the fantasy of thinking that if we could just elect Cons we would fix this mess.
Can’t be done. It can not be fixed politically by electing people to Ottawa.
Canada just quite simply is a Fake Democracy. An appointed Democracy were the Fake Queen Trudeau appoints everyone. With all the built in imbalances in the fake democracy it can not be fixed.
The sooner Canada is broken up into small countries or is absorbed in part by the USA the better off we will be.
Give Up The Fantasy that electing CONS will save you. The Structural Problems in the Political System are too overwhelming.

      1. This was all entered into Hansard by Walter Kuhl MP from Edson Alberta back in the 30/40’s.
I quote Doctor Beauchesne from the evidence of the special committee on the British North America Act in 1935. On page 126 of the evidence he is credited with saying:

“-the Statute of Westminster has altered our status. The time has come, in my humble opinion, when the British North America Act, except as to minority rights, should he transformed and a new constitution more in conformity with present conditions should be adopted. Amendments here and there would be mere patchwork which could not last. The people of 1935 are different from those of 1867. What we want is a new constitution. The new constitution must leave nobody with a grievance. A spirit of conciliation should predominate. For these reasons, the task must be entrusted to an independent body in which all the elements of the country will be represented. I, therefore, beg to suggest an imposing constituent assembly formed of eminent men coming from all parts of Canada. Provincial conferences, attended by a few ministers meeting behind closed doors, would hardly satisfy public opinion. The debate should be public. I want the assembly to sit in a city in the west. It would not be necessary for a delegate to be a member of Parliament or of a provincial Legislature.”

And on page 128 Doctor Beauchesne is reported as follows:

“I would suggest that the assembly do not sit in Ottawa, in order that it may not have the appearance of being dominated or even influenced by the dominion power; and as the western provinces are of such paramount importance in the country, I suggest the best city for the representatives to gather in would be Winnipeg.”

        And again on page 131:

“There have been many disputes about provincial rights since 1867 and it seems certain that when a new constitution is drawn up, the distribution of federal and provincial powers will have to be modified.”

        And page 135:

“I think the time is ripe for a change in the constitution. I do not think you would need much publicity in order to draw to the attention of the people of this country that the British North America Act is inadequate.”

        And finally on page 129:

“Whether our country should be changed from a dominion to a kingdom is also a subject which might be discussed. I would suggest that the country should be called “the federated states of Canada.”

  6. The Provinces are now Colonies of Ottawa and the PM.

    More correctly, colonies of Quebec.

  7. The Liberals have been strangely silent on the shut down of Line 5 from Michigan to Ontario… or have I just missed it?

  8. What a weasel that Carney is. Despicable, freaking lying liberal.

    1. Carney seems like a natural to be leader of the LPC.

(not to be interpreted as a compliment)

  9. The problem with people like Carney is that he’s Juthtin with a brain.
Our current Prime Moron sometimes pretends to believe he moves the pieces, but he’s also admitted to being a “figurehead”. So he knows that we know that he knows he’s a half-wit.
Carney is dangerous and lethal because he knows WTF is going on behind the doors behind the doors. He will move the pieces. As King of Government Gang Green & Statist Citizen Control he’ll rule with a not so benevolent fist with all the power that Watcher says the PMO has.
Carney’s face might just turn out to be Big Brother.

  10. We are in an ideological and economic war with global elites. They are the enemy and we must defeat them.

“The first duty of a government is to promote the economy, commerce, and free domain of a nation’s citizens in order to foster their general welfare. In a tyflocracy, a few power holders have decided that this is an incomplete purpose of government. Instead, in tyflocracy a social cartel assumes power, in the name of virtue, and holds that general welfare is something which is rightfully and only possessed by the government and its corporate proxies. Such welfare therefore can be bestowed solely through the direct and ‘just hand’ intervention which this government provides. Virtue always justifies despotism. Opposition is then defined as ‘terrorism’.”

  11. “The problem with people like Carney is that he’s Juthtin with a brain.”

Pretty much. Born with a silver spoon and raised as a pampered, arrogant, entitled tit – with no thought or care about about those who aren’t.

  12. When he has the balls to either (a) lead a Party insurrection and kick Pinky No’Tool’s arse out the door or, (b) pack his bags and leave the sheep pen, then I might listen to him.

  13. Carney is sniffing around looking for the opportunity to bring himself the most glory. Given the mess Trudeau and company have made the list is long.

  14. If we are to assume That Carney, what an appropriate name for a modern public figure,is a banker who actually knows finances and is able to perform basic mathematical function..
Why would he want to assume political power?

What is in it for him?
He really is a modern Liberal.

We can see the age old cycle of “Democratic Politics” where the spendthrifts waste like crazy, buying power, then when the OPM dries up,they surrender power leaving the serious citizens the joy of cleaning up the mess.

Meanwhile their comrades in arms of the media call the cleaners, nasty mean spirited evil doers and praise the “virtues” of the “lovable scumbags” who bankrupted us..
Over and over again we have seen this.
The Wasters are “Our Friends” and the “Conservers are evil”.
    And it works.
Adscam being total proof of how stupid and corrupt Liberal Voters are.

    1. Why would he want to assume political power?

Carney not just a “Banker” but a central banker, the ultimate central planner, a puller of levers and controls at whim. He thrives on power to control others and has the arrogance and sense of entitlement that goes with it. He’s a sociopath.

  15. I enjoyed this Poilievre vs Carney exchange immensely. Mark Carney got a good tongue lashing. That’s the most action we’ve seen in a long time since Trudeau has everything censored by his henchmen.

Pierre Poilievre would make a great Prime Minister. It would be no fun for him, at this point, to have to clean up the Liberals mess. A mess, it is.

Little Marko seemed weak. That is, because he is weak.

Carney has a great education. He’s a citizen of the World, a millionaire. He’s experienced and has held many positions in his career. He sounds like he’s a mover and shaker, like everybody wants to hire him, like everybody wants to be near him, like you’d like to chat with him at a cocktail party, like the perfect weekend house guest, like you can’t get enough of him.

Well, if you look at his resumé, he doesn’t stay a long time anywhere. Why’s that?

    The man is scary.

    From link below:
“There was some controversy with his time running the Bank of England. Staff members compared his temper flare-ups to ‘being tasered’.”
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Carney

We don’t need anymore loose cannons running Canada. If he’s in and Justin Trudeau moves to the U.N. or where ever, Canada will have to officially be known as a balkanized entity. We are no longer a Nation as it stands now.

  16. Carney Barker.
Pierre is excellent, but given the low information masses in Canada, he would never be elected as PM.
    Sad but true.
Oh, and those masses of dullards don’t even see things like this, let alone understand them if they did watch and listen.

  17. Carney is a disgrace to humanity.
It’s easy to see why the world is in trouble with these globalists running things.
That’s why they wanted Trump out so bad, he was messing up their plans.

    God Help Us!
