  1. Well I hope it doesn’t land on my roof.
It would be a cause for celebration for some here.

    1. Not to worry … the earth is 2/3 water. Soon to be 3/4 water … if you don’t STOP: heating your home, driving your car, eating meat, having a pet, wearing fur, and voting conservative.

      1. I voted conservative. Look up “ATT in Canada”. Authorization to Transport. Its like Open Carry, except not. Canadian Law Abiding Gun Owners lick this shit up.

  2. WeII….I guess we know now how China pIans to get the next “variant” into the popuIations of her enemies.

I guess they toId the IittIe oId Chinese Iadies to put away their spray bottIes and get out of the produce sections of Western grocery stores.

Now spreading their bio-weapon wiII come with its own Iight show.

    1. Yeah. We’re gonna colonize Mars without and debris falling back to Earth. I’m pretty sure that we can’t colonize Mars for at least 1000 years, but I have only just started my calculations of world industrial output, what kind of tonnage we can even get into LEO, and what kind of tonnage it would take to exploit Lunar or asteroid based resources. I’m pretty sure we’re fucked, but hey, the figures should tell me, and I’ll always err in the favor of what I see to be easier exploitation of space-borne resources. Gimme 6 months.

  4. I always thought you had to buy chinese junk from Amazon or Wayfair. I guess all need to do is sit on some land and wait.

  5. Canada: Couldn’t put a thing into space on their own without at least 3 decades of environmental and gender impact studies.
China: Puts a thing into space with a disposable booster, doesn’t care where it lands.
Canadians: “We’re gonna need better masks!”

    What a pathetic bunch.

    1. Sadly, I’d rather pay for Chinese space stations than local gimp-mask/hockey-ball gag/strap-on parades.

  6. If anyone gets clobbered by it the Chinese will blame the Americans or the victims. Why you riv unda ahbit pah?
The usual screw everyone attitude we’ve come to expect.

      1. Yes! Skylab landed in Australia. They even have a museum for some pieces.

      2. I remember.

I also remember the aftermath, where every single space-faring nation (including Russia) re-designing their systems to properly dispose and de-orbit every single piece of launched hardware. Except China.

I guess the Chinese aren’t smart enough, and/or they just don’t give a f**k about the planet we share.

Here’s another thing the Chinese don’t give a f**k about and have no plans to do anything about…

      3. Skylab wasn’t intended to re-enter, or, at least not when it did.

As a result of solar activity, the upper limit of the atmosphere was higher than expected, increasing the drag on the station. One of the objectives of the early space shuttle missions was to fly to Skylab and raise its orbit. Delays in the shuttle’s development caused its initial launch to be pushed off until 1981 instead of the late 1970s.

  7. They all have server farms in eastern Oregon. They like to use the dependable hydro-electric power and can claim they are carbon neutral.

I had a kid come to my front door, he was paid by the Government of Oregon to try to get me to sign onto a program that would be a couple of cents more per KW hour but would only be sourced from green energy. I laughed and asked him if he knew that the server farms run by these companies have contracts in place that in the event of a power disruption they would get the power before any city in the state. No power for hospitals or other essential services but you would still get your internet.

These companies really are the rapacious scum of the Earth.

edit- weird I wrote this under the Social Disease thread but it posted here??

    1. In the 1990’s, I got a flyer from “BC Gas and Hyrdo” in Britsh Columbia, entitled “Good News about your Gas Bill!” It went on to explain that how due to market volatility, they were paying less for natural gas, and then they explained how amortizing or bills would result in a slightly higher annual bill. Good news indeed, they were paying less and charging more, and were so happy about it that they sent out a flyer. Of course, making your own energy is “being a slave” to the sun and winds.

  8. supposedly the booster will strike earth between 41.5 degrees North and 41.5 degrees South, so Canada is right out.

So is my domicile at 45 something North.

    1. If it lands on a city, we win. If it lands in the bush, we win. More, I say, many many more!

  9. Thank God there is someone to whine about this, otherwise who else will help you when orbital debris land on you. Lord know, if the SHTF, all we gots left is other people. Most women are so fuckin’ clueless its unreal.

  10. I don’t think Canadians have much to worry about, the debris is likely to impact the earth within 40 degrees latitude of the equator (north or south) so that’s south of even the tip of Point Pelee, Ontario. The same is therefore true for the northern third of the lower 48, the UK and Ireland, most of Europe in fact, other than the Mediterranean regions. A lot of China is within the potential fall zone, hopefully it hits them (rather than innocent third parties) since they put it up there.

  11. These Progressive Scum never give up..
Next mystery strike from orbit on Key Largo, accidentally of course..
Never again will an American Politician demand China play by same rules..
