  1. Separate, Alberta, and send Kenney, Notley, Nenshi, the RCMP, and the rest packing.

    1. I simply don’t understand why people are not rebelling against this. Hard.

    2. UCP==Useless Conservative Party. Kenney can go fuck himself up the ass with a rusty wire brush.
The UCP will be thrown on the trash heap. We may end up with the NDP if the Wildrose can not pull it together in time. But the UCP are history and no one is listening anymore.
Albertans are completely ignoring them all.

      1. In case it is too obvious for daft politicians (which it probably is), it is the base that elects you – you don’t get to elect the base.

If you want a new base, then quit and start sheep herding – you are no longer (and never were) fit to govern.

Bye bye Kenney, your time left is numbered in single digit months.

  2. miserable little back stabbing commie prick.

Doesn’t have a conservative bone in his body.

Bald face lying re health system getting overwhelmed.

    1. Today’s stats in Alberta: hospitalized Province wide 671, ICU 150, down 6 from Monday, 23,623 testing positive (if you believe the tests) out of 4.4 million. I was at our #1 hospital Monday …. business as usual. The surgical cast clinic was devoid of people, so these Docs are looking for things to do. I had a great meeting, by the way.
Kenny/Notley/snivel serpents are lying through their teeth.

      1. Government worried about full hospitals is just plain BS. They are using computer models and bogus tests to speculate that hospitals will be over whelmed. By the way, the government controls all medical care and the ability to build and staff hospitals. If there are inadequate facilities that problem lies at the feet of government.

  3. Kenney just committed political suicide. Be prepared for at least 4 years of hell when Red Rachel moves back into the premier’s office after the next political election.

    1. Yeah, that will be awesome, real employment only fell by about 10% (probably more) the last time she was in, can’t wait for round two and whatever tax hell (sales, carbon, increased everything else, I’d wager) she has in store. Unfortunately our best case is probably UCP minority with WR holding the balance, WR won’t win a majority. Wonder hat will happen when the 30% of the population that actually pays into this BS just says to hell with it and stays home.

      1. Yeah, that will be awesome, real employment only fell by about 10% (probably more) the last time she was in, can’t wait for round two and whatever tax hell (sales, carbon, increased everything else, I’d wager) she has in store.

It’ll be much worse than that. First, she’s going to get revenge on Alberta for having removed her from office 2 years ago. We have to be punished so that we will never be tempted to do it again. That’s what dictators do.

Once she’s finished with that, then the real devastation will begin. She will succeed in turning Alberta into a wasteland.

        1. You’re right, of course. Completely. The smart and able ones should bail now. The rest of us will be left begging for scraps if we don’t get one of the new government approved and subsidized green energy jobs.

          1. Yup, I bailed on Alberta six years ago, but now, instead of Kenny and Dinshaw, I am hating Horgan and Henry.
            Same shit, different gulag.
            No escape.
            Drink whiskey.
When finally cornered, take a last shot and rip some flesh, like a cornered weasel with an ethical sensibility would, perforce, enact.
            Peace.

          2. Stevie:

I’ve got it both ways. I live in Edmonton, but the house I inherited is in Fort St. John. If I don’t get it from B. C., Alberta will take care of it.

          3. Stevie, just goes to show you have stupid the average voter is.

          4. Mutt: Hey Jeff, these smart pills you sold me taste like sh*t.
Jeff: See, you are smarter already.

      2. If you removed the money that the TAXPAYERS are being forced to hand out to business in Alberta because of Kenney’s lack of Leadership, and the 2T that Trudeau has pumped into the economy. If you removed the STIMMIE FIAT and GRANTS and Corporate handouts. Canada and Alberta’s economies are minus probably 10%, perhaps more, I have never seen it so flat. NADA Nothing zero.
Alberta is a Dead Man Walking and the ripple effect is kicking in along with inflation very quickly.
By Midsummer/Late Summer we will be in full Depression mode.

  4. Most people in this province, are so paralyzed with fear that they would gladly vote the entire country into house arrest for “as long as it takes.” As long as it takes for what is a little up in the air, the complete and total devastation of the economy and civilization, I guess. People are mouthing off about this being a joke and mocking JK for not being tough enough on us scofflaws. Unbelievable.

    1. I think you are right Ryan, unfortunately all their fear does is make their lives more miserable and probably quite a bit shorter.

    2. That’s the thing: it’s all about hyping the fear. Nothing else. And because of the fear, they’ve created the social divide that now exists between the believers and non-believers, and heaven help you if you’re one of the heretics.

I wonder how many of the officials making these decisions actually believe the shit they’re spouting, because there’s more than enough evidence out there to the contrary.

  5. I don’t see any provision listed for individuals to obtain medical care. If you’re not supposed to leave the house, going to the hospital or doctor’s office must be prohibited, as must driving anywhere – no grocery pickup, restaurant pickup, etc.

And even if there is provision in the official documents, declaring a lockdown and failing to state EVERYTHING that is allowed would lead many people to assume that only the things that were stated are allowed.

Any hospital or doctor’s office can describe how the number of incoming patients has dropped significantly during the COVID scare, especially when lockdowns are ordered. And the excess death figures (increase in mortality above the normal averages) have notably been withheld from public scrutiny. With the outright bans on so-called “elective” surgeries (such as a scheduled heart operation) the data regarding home deaths overall, and deaths in categories such as cardiac, diabetes, and kidney disease would likely be very embarassing to the powers-that-be.

    1. He specifically stated “by appointment only” for medical/dental offices. Surgeries etc were already being postponed. Certain cancer stuff was excepted. Emergency/walk-ins are considered essential and still fine.

It’s not an absolute lockdown. He hasn’t gone full LeGault yet.

  6. Kenny points to cases going down in Sask and BC. That’s what viruses do — numbers go up . . . peak . . . and go down. ( 5 -7 weeks). The lockdowns do not impact this pattern, as we know from the number of places ( e.g.. Florida) that managed just fine when they abandoned lock downs. Kenney may have good intentions, but he is looking very foolish, and he is getting bad advice. Red Rachael is not the solution, but a new leader for UCP may be.

    1. “Kenney may have good intentions,”

FYI, it doesn’t get better until the soft hearted and weak have no more say.

“Masculine republics give way to feminine democracies, and feminine democracies give way to tyranny.” ~ Aristotle

  7. and you assholes out west always complain about ontarIowe. Now you look as stupid as we do!

    1. This. Very much this.

Albertistan ain’t the UCPtopia they always claim it is.

      Saskatchewan.. maybe.

    2. We don’t complain about Morontario per se.
We complain about fukc wads like you.

  8. I just watched a vid of Jon Carpay speaking at a rally of about 500 in Calgary. He states the lawyers for Pastor Coates asked the Alberta government to produce scientific evidence that lockdowns work. They have nothing.
I received the vid thru messenger…not sure how to post it here.
Powerful speech…would love to see him publicly debate/challenge Kenney or Ford.
If anyone else has the vid please link it.

    1. The court has ruled that the Alberta government does not have to provide any evidence to justify its lockdown actions. Our chief medical quack, Deena Hinshaw, must be giddy with joy.

  9. It is the beginning of May. Apparently these “experts” have no memory of last year. The worst of this peaked out and started to decline this time last year, maybe a bit earlier end of April. Ontario is starting to decline. Quebec started to decline a bit earlier. BC is starting to decline. The other provinces, just smh at the panic in Atlantic Canada over miniscule numbers.

They are locking down right around the time the cases should start to decline on their own. I am sure, like in all the other places, they will pat themselves on the back and say they did the right thing, without actual proof that their actions did a damn thing. And the biggest problem is that the vast majority of Canadians are happy to be told to stay at home, stay safe, protect the hospitals and the “heroes” working there. For as much as a lot of commenters here rail against this kind of idiocy, their fellow Canadians think this will save lives.

    1. You are correct Dwayne.
The MSM has successfully spread the message for the politicians.
      The paranoia is deep.

    1. It’s Stop the Spike now. That’s why it’s three weeks and not two. See?
Now to the gulag with you for mocking your betters.

  10. Brian Jean in a Facebook commentary this evening has his doubts…

“When a politician rejects the people whose votes he campaigned for, it is always his fault and never theirs.
The UCP was created to unite a wide variety of Albertans. They were attracted to the thought of Alberta being governed by a common-sense party that listened to them, that answered their questions and that was straight with them.
Premier, if many Albertans have stopped doing what you want, that is on you.
You have failed to answer their questions. You have failed to give them the data and information they were looking for. You have failed to keep them persuaded.
Leaders bring people together. Leaders listen and explain and convince. Leaders answer questions and provide the information that people need to understand things. A leader is sometimes in the hot seat – take it. It is your job.
A few weeks ago, I wrote about how AHS is hiding critical health data from Albertans – you have done nothing about that.
I wrote about how the CMOH wasn’t being asked the right questions and how to fix that. You ignored that too.
I made suggestions on how you could reach across the political aisle and unify Albertans. Your response was to arrogantly reject even those Albertans who voted for you.
Premier, Albertans have lost confidence in you. Those who didn’t vote for you have concluded that you are even worse than they feared. Those who did vote for you, know that you are not governing as they would have hoped.
You might want a “new base.” Albertans want better leadership.”

1 minute read… I don’t have another non-FB link to this for those who do not have FB anymore (or never have had FB …) and so I’ve copied it in its entirety.

    1. I started having misgivings about Kenney when Prinz Dummkopf was re-elected. The next day, I called his office and left a message, suggesting that he start drawing up terms for taking Alberta out of Confederation. I wouldn’t be surprised if I wasn’t the only one who had such thoughts.

I voted for him, expecting him to be like Moses and lead the people out of bondage. Instead, he’s made sure that we remain slaves to an unworkable and ungrateful country.

I have no idea why he betrayed us like that. Is he out of his depth and doesn’t know what to do? Is he being blackmailed politically? Has he been bought by China or Soros?

It doesn’t matter any more. I seriously doubt that the conservative voters of Alberta will forgive him for his performance and he will be another one-term premier, and good riddance. Unfortunately, that may also mean that he will be succeeded by Wretched Knothead and she will be ruthless in punishing us. “Scorched earth” will be a mild description of what her legacy is going to be.

      1. I didn’t want him here. I figured he’d drag the Ottawa taint back with him, and it seems I was right. I would rather have had Jean lead, but I voted UCP to turf Notley, and reserved judgement.

Judgement has now been rendered, effective as of October.

  11. Kenney’s attitude towards those who elected him is made abundantly clear here:

    https://westernstandardonline.com/2021/05/exclusive-kenney-tells-ucp-caucus-i-want-a-new-base/

The people who attended the “illegal” rodeo held recently in Bowden:

    https://rumble.com/vgiqe3-bowden-alberta-hosts-its-first-freedom-rodeo.html

were said by an MLA to represent Kenney’s base. Jell-O Kreampuff’s reaction was that he wanted a “new base”. That’s like the Doug the Slug Ford’s “yahoo nation” comment, isn’t it?

    Kenney has got to go.

    1. Kenney just signed up as Notley’s campaign chair. Welcome to the 21st Century Holomodor. Maybe he knows some type of mutiny is going on in his caucus, and he is going scorched earth on the party he leads. It will make him look good in Moronto when he tries to become Prime Minister of Kanaduh.

      1. Welcome to the 21st Century Holomodor.

Red Rachel’s dream. The oil industry better be prepared to deal with more forest fires encroaching on their facilities because the provincial government accidentally on purpose goofed up another water bomber contract.

        1. Is there anyone in the governments of BC or Alberta that even wants an oil industry? I think not. Letting it burn would be quick and easy. I feel badly for my grandkids, their life is sure to be unnecessarily much worse than mine. Seems too many refuse to accept this, a great many of them live on other people’s money, perhaps a clue there.

          1. I’m of the opinion that what happened at Fort Mac a few years ago was deliberate. The Knothead Dipper government bungled (accidentally on purpose?) the water bomber contract that year. It wouldn’t surprise me if those *&*&^##@!s hoped that the fires in the area would burn down the oil sands facilities. (“Ooopsie! Gee, we don’t have any water bombers to fight the fires right now. Sorry about your plant….”)

Red Wretched also appointed Tzeporah Berman as an oil industry advisor. Yeah, the same Tzeporah Berman who started her activist career by spiking trees on the B. C. coast. The same Tzeporah Berman who claimed that the landscape around Fort Mac was devastated looked like something out of Tolkein.

Kenney’s big mistake was in not cleaning house and sacking all those commie SOBs in the provincial civil service. He has shown he has absolutely no interest in Alberta or its people.

      2. Is it too much to ask that Kenney and Notley take a nice road trip together in a self-driving Tesla?

        1. Hinshaw, Shandro, and that twit Kaycee Madu should be with them.

  12. Control health care, you control the people. Can anyone, think of anything, that could not be justified by “we must prevent our hospitals from being overwhelmed”.

Yeah, neither can I. When Moe realizes he’s lost his base, the same is coming here. When he makes his play for the NDP base.

  13. “We will not permit our health care system to be overwhelmed”

Make that our neglected and totally inadequate health care system, you ridiculous little putz.

    1. And see, this is the thing that twigged on me last night: they’re still flogging the system.

Has anyone noticed that’s still the key messaging after a frickin’ year? Not deaths. Not people being sick. Not side-effects of vaccination. Not “long covid”, presuming it’s real and not just hypochondriacal hysteria. Not the social, emotional, and health costs affecting people in general and kids in specific. He literally seems to be following the BoJo playbook (or whoever’s dragging his choke-collar).

The covid stats from yesterday that I hacked together and posted elsewhere:

The case fatality rate is just a hair over 1%, for all ages and causes, based on the AHS data: 198653 cases, 2099 deaths, 1.057% (they report 1.1, but that may just be rounding). The infection fatality rate would be much lower, and the population fatality rate would be microscopic. Severe outcomes (hospitalizations) appear to be around 4%, ICU about 0.7%. Then you can break that down into age and other risk factors, and the takeaway is that they’re trying to scare the fuck out of a young, healthy population for no legitimate reason.

Assuming the vax program is legit, there’s no justification for this. None. The seniors are “protected”, and kids aren’t truly at serious risk and never have been.

They need to start telling the truth. Now.

  14. Just like a child, Alberta has been put on a 3 week timeout for bad behaviour. This is what our so called leadership thinks of it’s citizens these days.

    1. I’ve been hearing this but think it is to generous a take. This is what the commies do: if you are good citizens, then you will be rewarded. If you disobey the state, then there will be breadlines.
This is dangerous stuff going on.

    2. Hinshaw’s been talking to us like this since day one. Shandro has the same tonality. Kenney just sounds like a spoiled brat who had a toy taken away.

  15. Once you have the herd on the run, engaging full stampede mode..The herd beasts go crazy.
When panic, fear and madness peak, they start dying on their feet.
Are we at full panic yet?
14 months of propaganda, mass hysteria, fear and loathing.
The herd is past running flat out,the weak are falling dead as the mass swarms up the hill..Toward “Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump.”

    The Hubris is astounding.
The same people who have demonstrated their total incompetence, union mentality and willingness do avoid responsibility for decades, are now demanding we “Trust them on Faith” as they blame us for viral spread of a flu virus..
Insisting that they can stop this virus,if only we believe..As they fence in and arrest Christians who gather to pray to their God.

So,the same persons who cannot balance a budget, cannot take idiot criminals off the street, cannot stop invasive species of weeds and wildlife..CAN STOP a virus.
    Or so they say.

But only they can save us.
To be saved we must surrender all our rights, all our freedoms and every ability to make our own choices..Presumably all our assets as well.
For only then can the Enlightened Ministries save us..

    It,Government, is a cult.
Of the most malicious foul kind.
Withdraw your consent, for these fools cannot govern.
    Not even themselves.

  16. “The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule.”
    – H. L. Mencken

It’s pathetic that young people are never exposed to this man’s timeless irrefutable wisdom, but get the theories of Michel Foucault, defender of pedophilia, as early as grade school now. Never forget who hires the teachers.

  17. Comrades. The new normal is here. Welcome to the gulag. Kiss your freedom goodbye. Now that they have proof they can terrify the population at will it will never end.

  18. Geeze people. This is Kenney’s reaction to Alberta’s just-getting-started Resistance Movement. His mistake.
There aren’t enough cops in all of Alberta to enforce the Tyrant’s will if the people withdraw their consent to be governed.
Another Rodeo is already in the planning stage and we had a first big protest on Main Street here in Airdrie last weekend.
You Negative Nellies need to have a little faith.
