      1. Know why?

The Canadian Government website has now deleted the copy of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms from our official website. If we can’t check to see if our rights and freedoms are being infringed upon, we are being held prisoner by unaccountable police state.

        1. Looks like they moved the page and rerouted it…this is still going viral though.

    1. “Why is there false information in the press release?”

Why would this press release be any different than any other press release? It’s been nothing but false information for quite some time, it’s just getting more obvious.

Unfortunately many have staked everything on believing in this fairytale, and others, and it’s become so personal that there’s no going back for them now which means they’ll swallow any lie, o matter how obvious, as they’ve been trained to do.

      1. The entire continent of Africa (1.3 billion people) has had less c0vid deaths than the UK (65 million people).

        Despite:
        -worse healthcare
        -millions unable to ‘lockdown’
        -minimal vaccination

In fact, only South Africa was significantly hit.

Few want to talk about this.

        1. Yep…No SUN in the UK along with far too many COMMUNISTS (its always been that way there).

Tons of SUN throughout Africa with Multi Millions taking HydroxyChloroquine DAILy.

….and a continent with some of the WORST Health Care on the Planet…yet every ASSHOLE polITICian in this pathetic country kisses THAMs ASS and ignores REALITY.

        2. Dr. Hatfill told War Room hydroxychloroquine is proven to be effective and costs roughly 60 cents per pill. However, the existence of a proven effective treatment would not have allowed Dr. Fauci and FDA’s Janet Woodcock to expedite covid vaccines.

“You don’t need a vaccine,” Dr. Hatfill said.

“It’s quite evident that Dr. Fauci, Dr. Woodcock, Dr. [Rick] Bright are responsible for hundreds of thousands of America deaths for causing this drug to pick up a bad name,” Dr. Hatfill said.

  1. Project Veritas is going after Twitter. Not for banning O’Keefe, but for lying about why they’re permanently banning him, giving stated reasons that are knowingly false and defamatory. This is the same charge that a judge agreed is a proper use of defamation law (and not covered by “it’s only our opinion) in the Project Veritas case against the NYT.
    https://choiceclips.whatfinger.com/2021/04/16/james-okeefe-is-suing-twitter-for-banning-him-youtube-ceo-admits-theyre-screwing-over-youtubers/.

Not the best video, he’s all over the place. 2 minutes in for the part I’m referencing.

  2. UDear Roger Waters; no one would even know your name if not for David Gilmour. Sorry. You’ve written a few lovely songs … none of which would ever have mattered if not for Gilmour. Gilmour is the YoYo Ma of Rock guitar. A maestro of melody. A man who plays with feeling and musicality … not raw speed and an avalanche of notes.

Why does his live performance sound so much like the recorded version? Because his solo is a musical suite. Every note in its place for a specific feeling. Not to be tweaked out of boredom or improvisation.

    Beautiful. Simply beautiful.

    1. “UDear Roger Waters; no one would even know your name if not for David Gilmour. ”

Perhaps, but I still think “Amused to Death” is a brilliant greatly underrated album.

    2. Here is a title track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-P614lmP3Y
      We watched the tragedy unfold
We did as we were told, bought and sold
It was the greatest show on Earth
      But then it was over
      We oohed and ahhed
      We drove our racing cars
We ate our last few jars of caviar
And somewhere out there in the stars
A keen eyed lookout spied a flickering light
      (Our last hurrah)
      Our last hurrah
And when they found our shadows
      Grouped ’round the TV sets
      They ran down every lead
      They repeated every test
They checked out all the data on their list
      And then
      The alien anthropologists
      Admitted they were still perplexed
But on eliminating every other reason for our sad demise
They logged the only explanation left
This species has amused itself to death

    3. Roger Waters wrote and participated in the lions share of Pink Floyd’s music. He’s also the master mind behind the concepts of Pink Floyd albums until he left in the early 80’s. Gilmour wrote and participated in the occasional song here and there, and is a damn fine guitar player. But Roger Waters has always been the creative and driving force behind Pink Floyd. Especially during there formative years. Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall.
As Roger Waters put it in terms of their stage shows. “That’s my wall up there, that’s my pig, that’s their dry ice”. If it wasn’t for Roger Waters, Pink Floyd would have stopped after A Saucerful of Secrets. Roger Waters as far as I’m concerned is the Pink in Pink Floyd.
Love David Gilmour, but when it comes to Pink Floyd, he’s no Roger Waters.
Waters political views on the other hand…

      1. Gilmour is not good at lyrics. His wife’s words are great in a novel, not so good in a song.
        Waters is brilliant at lyrics.
But no one can make a guitar sing like Gilmour.

    4. That guitar solo was repetitive and boring. Pink Floyd is the most over-rated band from the 60s and 70s. Their entire shtick is dark, dull and meaningless. Sorry, but I know the difference between great music and cult music.

If you really want hear great music and completely original and tasteful guitar solos … check out Steely Dan.

        1. Hey I like both Steely Dan and Pink Floyd.

As for overacted bands: Rush, U2, Queen, Beatles, Tragically Hip (there, I think I have managed to offend just about every classic rock fan).

      1. EASY now…. Floyd was and still is one of the Best EVER. Up there with the Beatles, the WHO, the Eagles, the Stones, the Doors (yea them too), and a few others. Steely Dan was great but not even close to the level of the above…and Im a fan of them…(they should have toured-more..??)

      2. Dear J West; Steely Dan is my favorite of all time Rock-Fusion band. But that doesn’t dull my senses to other music styles. Even Dan, themselves, used guest guitarists and other musicians to create DIFFERENT sounds from lp to lp. Gilmour has got his own signature and feel … every bit as much as Skunk Baxter or Larry Carlton

        1. You been tellin’ me you’re a genius
          Since you were seventeen
In all the time I’ve known you
I still don’t know what you mean
          The weekend at the college
Didn’t turn out like you planned
The things that pass for knowledge
          I can’t understand

Some of the best lines in history of rock.

          1. Fagen is a smart-ass, hard edged, New York artist. The sarcasm that drips from his lyrics is delicious.

            I crawl like a viper
            Through these suburban streets
            Make love to these women
            Languid and bittersweet
I’ll rise when the sun goes down
            Cover every game in town
            A world of my own
I’ll make it my home sweet home

    5. It’s an absolute shame that David Gilmour is a hardcore leftard, has TDS and is a longtime, dedicated pitchman for socialism.

We can admire his music all we want, but the man himself is an ignorant scumbag.

      1. Agree. Gilmour also took all the money he made from the Christie’s Auctions and gave to ” ClientEarth, which funds environmental lawyers and experts in the fight against climate change”.
Proof that talent and intelligence don’t always go together

      2. And what’s particularly sad is that neither of them have the intelligence to recognize that they’ve BOTH become THAT which they HATE (and mock in song). They ARE The Machine. They ARE the Freedom choking political hacks they deride. They just another brick in the wall of an Institutionalized Leftist Politic

          1. Gentlemen … for the record … I wasn’t claiming Waters was a useless, worthless collaborator. Rather that Gilmour’s unique guitar style and sensibility gave wing to Waters ideas … and made them listenable … memorable.

I like the almost orchestral way in which he plays. I love his feeeeeeel of the guitar … be it acoustic or electric.

I believe the same thing about George Harrison … listen to any Beatles song … and there will be several unique guitar hooks that literally MAKE the song. Riffs and lead runs that elevate the song and make it unique and memorable. Yeah, the Beatles experimented with lots of sounds and arrangements in the studio … but every single song has some unique signature of Harrison’s genius. Most are small little licks … but there they are … every single song unique and cool.

      3. “It’s an absolute shame that David Gilmour is a hardcore leftard, has TDS and is a longtime, dedicated pitchman for socialism.”

My thoughts too. Was a fan of the band (saw them three times in Vancouver…the first time was even at the PNE Gardens, before they become huge) until I saw the TV special where they had George Bush on a giant screen and were singing “The lunatic is in my head”.

Had no use for them ever since.

  3. https://theprovince.com/news/local-news/17m-class-action-lawsuit-filed-against-calgary-restaurant-over-covid-19-outbreak/wcm/092350f1-e149-4e68-a34a-00254848da4b
So, this guy and his lawyers think they can prove that he got Covid in this particular restaurant on this particular day? The funny thing about viruses is that they are sneaky – you never know where or from whom you picked them up. And every virus has different incubation times. These folks look like scamsters looking for a quick, quiet payout. Note that the owners of this restaurant are a large chain, not some little mom and pop operation.

    1. Ambitious lawyers. Perhaps they should consider asking which church group represents the Christian God and then sue them, as disease is commonly referred to as an Act of God.

They wouldn’t want to go after a mosque for the same charge though as that would be a hate crime.

    2. Now. there’s a Frivolous Lawsuit if I ever heard of one.
But this is Canada…with its LEFTIST Garbage Criminal non justice system…more than willing to trash a Capitalist business.

Hmmm did some BC Liberal/NDP MP-MLA put them on to this shit.?? I smell the machinations of the PMO here too…
Perfect way to fk over an Alberta Business eh.??

  4. The plans to build a Martian mega city you’d actually want to travel 300 million km to live in
    https://www.sciencefocus.com/space/the-plans-to-build-a-martian-mega-city-youd-actually-want-to-travel-300-million-km-to-live-in/
Mars looks like earth but it’s gravity is only about 30% of earth’s, it has almost no protective atmosphere (1% of Earth’s atmosphere) and it’s deadly cold every night (-75C on a good night at the equator) .

On the other hand, NASA has plans for floating cities in Venus’ atmosphere. At 55 km (34 mi) altitude, the atmosphere of Venus is 27 °C (81 °F) and 0.5 bar (50 kPa) (the equivalent pressure at an elevation of about 5,500 m (18,000 ft) on Earth). However, due to the large amount of CO2, the density for a given pressure is greater than in Earth’s atmosphere. Therefore breathable air acts as a buoyant gas. At the same time, the gravity at the proposed altitude is 8.73 m/s2 versus 9.81 m/s2 on Earth’s surface. But God help you if you get a hole in your airship.

    1. Mars looks like earth but it’s gravity is only about 30% of earth’s, it has almost no protective atmosphere (1% of Earth’s atmosphere) and it’s deadly cold every night (-75C on a good night at the equator) .

“Mars ain’t the kind of place to raise your kids.
In fact, it’s cold as hell.”

      Elton John Rocket Man

    2. From what I’ve read….

Nobody is going to live on Mars permanently.

Humans have evolved over 1000’s upon 1000’s upon 1000’s of years on earth which has a day that is about 40 minutes SHORTER than a day on Mars.
Every day on Mars, day after day after day will be 40 minutes longer, cumulative.
Every week that goes by the earth evolved human biological clock will be off by approx. 5 hours, and the next week by another 5 hours, and the week after that by another 5 hrs,and so on and so on and so on ad. Infinitum.
People will end up going insane living under that regime, because they will not be able to adapt to the Martian day

      1. Many of the controllers for NASA Mars missions have their shift schedules set up in accordance to the 24+ hour day.

Just how the human metabolism will adapt to the Martian day has not been clearly established yet. One alternative is to construct habitations on Phobos or Deimos or, for that matter, a station in an orbit with a more compatible period.

      2. Shift workers here on earth laugh at the annual spring forward fall back stories in media.

12 hour day shift followed by 12 hour night shifts followed by days, nights… and afternoon meetings…

        It’s killing us, but it’s a living…

    1. B A D – you beat me to the punch by posting this before I got up (at 5:30), however, this CBC link notes SpaceX beat out Amazon founder Jeff Bezo’s Blue Origin and links to the 18 astronauts (9 men and 9 women) currently selected by NASA to go to the moon. On the other hand, your article notes that an 85 year old Dem from Texas, with the confusing name Eddie Bernice Johnson, objects to NASA not owning the IP for the rockets… Good link.

      1. I heard about it while I was listening to yesterday’s edition of the Internet radio show The Space Show. The host interrupted the proceedings to announce the awarding of the contract.

A few hours later, some of the RSS feeds for the space sites that I monitor finally got around to mentioning it.

I’m not surprised at Blue Origin not getting it. Its record so far, while far better than Richard “Another 5 Years” Branson’s Virgin Galactic, hasn’t been all that great. Rumour has it that the lack of progress in recent months was one reason Bezos decided to step down from Amazon. He can spend more time with the rockets now.

        1. B A D – Bezos and Musk are a bit like Gates vs Ellison in the 90s. Bezos and Musk seem to align with the Howard Hughes model. Howard Hughes blew through probably billions of Hughes Tool company dollars with his sci fi fantasy’s and wet dreams like the Spruce Goose, Hollywood films, Hughes Aircraft etc. Some things worked out for him. His H-1 Racer was the last aircraft built by a private individual to set the world speed record. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hughes_H-1_Racer A visionary with the disposable income to make it happen. Competition is the key to the success of the world.

  5. I haven’t chased this down yet; but…..

Apparently they’re working on medicating people to prevent them from dying from the COVID-19 vaccines.

With a little license…. So now there’s going to be a shot, which has side effects (which may kill you) to counter the side effects of the shot which may kill you given for the COVID-19 virus which has a tiny bit greater chance of killing you.

    https://twitter.com/i/status/1382974120829198337.

In the case of M-RNA that would be four shots minimum.

    1. I’m glad they’re already working on this.

The participants in this medical experiment don’t deserve to die for trusting the wrong people.

      It’s a harsh lesson.

      1. I overheard a couple of rats discussing the vaccine the other day. One rat asked the other if he was getting the shot and the other rat replied “not until they are done testing it on the humans.

    2. Actually, depending on your age, the vaccine may have a greater chance of killing you. Those under 50 should not be getting this dangerous, experimental vaccine.

    3. DO NOT take any mRNA vaccine.

      Meet Dr. Richard Fleming.
He’s a cardiologist that has been studying SARS since 1996. He has read all of the Emergency Use Authorizations submitted by the bioscience corporations to the FDA.
All of the vaccines provide ” NO DIFFERENCE statistically than not getting the vaccine for Covid 19″

“I’m not anti-vax,” Fleming told War Room, Tuesday. “I’m just anti-bad medicine.”

  6. Rosemary Barton at the Trudeau cult’s CBC is upset. Last night and this morning she explains that the situation in Ontario is all Doug Ford’s fault. She states that her Justin is doing a wonderful job providing vaccines. Everything about Justin is wonderful. Protect yourself, and join the Trudeau cult today!

    1. Rosemary Barton is a fat ugly pig. I do not ever watch or listen to anything from the CBC, CTV or Global. They are all CNN FAKE NEWS. Bought and paid for in a dying profession.

      There, I feel better now.

      1. That’s why she was chosen to give us our sermons. The great unwashed don’t deserve anything nice you see. The face of our future.

    1. Sorry Kate, I thought I had selected “Reply” to BAD above. I copied this post under BAD’s link after I noticed my error.

        1. A Girl – Thanks for the tip. I keep learning at SDA. I am sure that Kate is grateful for your tech support…. 🙂

  8. the country has been effectively shut down for the last year. Despite that we still have 338 MP’s getting full pay, thousands of civil servants allegedly working from home and teachers doing very little on line, all receiving full pay. The liberal line used when they want to steal more of our money via taxes is “we all have to do our part”. All of those mentioned above should be paid no more than the $500 per week that ordinary Canadians are being paid via CERB To continue otherwise simply tells us pedestrians that they are more important than us.

  9. The Media is The Enemy.
    CBC and CNN lie together.

“The comment references the Project Veritas video released last night which reveals CNN Technical Director Charlie Chester, who bragged to a young girl he met on Tinder: “If the agenda say, is to like get, like Matt Gaetz right now, he’s like this Republican. He’s a problem for the Democratic Party because he’s so conservative and he can cause a lot of hiccups in passing of laws and what not. So it would be great for the Democratic Party to get him out.”

Chester then admits, “So we’re going to keep running these stories to keep hurting him and make it so that it can’t be buried and just like settled outside court just and like, you know, if we keep pushing that, it’s helping us (CNN).”

  12. Black lives Matter, if this were true then Barrack Obama would have corrected the issue during his 8 years in power. In reality during his 8 years 70% of blacks were on food stamps. ironically when Trump was in power most of those blacks were employed but the Americans in their wisdom wanted to go back to the good old Obama days. It looks good on you fools
