    1. Let me use the Radical Islam excuse … “mental illness”. Only, in this case … the white boy had an actual history of mental illness … with prior contact by the police. And the police must not have heard the genius of our President. Because they took-away his shotgun! By taking-away his shotgun … a Joe Xiden APPROVED weapon … the police drove him to acquire a high capacity magazine machine pistol. If ONLY the police had listened to our beloved Joe Xiden. Our Dear Leader could have saved lives. Right?

And one look at the perps picture just screams … disgruntled former employee and incel. HR Rep. must be the most dangerous job in America …

    2. No major changes in the case? Then why revisit?

This isn’t CNN, streaming lies for those with the retention of a goldfish, and paying airports for captive views. The door’s right there, no one is forcing you to be here. If you’re being paid to be here, on the other hand, then I’ll expect to read further disparaging comments about our gracious hostess from you tomorrow.

      1. Oh, unless you’re interested in the “the FBI knew him, but did nothing until he killed a bunch of people” angle.

FBI agents last year interviewed the gunman who fatally shot eight people at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis, the bureau said Friday, as investigators searched the home of the 19-year-old former FedEx employee…

…The shooter was identified as Brandon Scott Hole of Indianapolis, Deputy Police Chief Craig McCartt told a news conference. Investigators searched a home in Indianapolis associated with Hole and seized evidence, including desktop computers and other electronic media, McCartt said.

Paul Keenan, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Indianapolis field office, said Friday that agents questioned Hole last year after his mother called police to say that her son might commit “suicide by cop.” He said the FBI was called after items were found in Hole’s bedroom but he did not elaborate on what they were. He said agents found no evidence of a crime and that they did not identify Hole as espousing a racially motivated ideology.

So yes, history of mental illness, not an ideological event. From an AP story, as quoted at https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/04/indy-fedex-shooter-identified-19-year-old-known-locals-previously-interviewed-fbi-looks-like-chris-wray-dropped-ball/

Now, can we go back to being on-topic? Do you have anything so say about what Dr. Peterson was saying?

  1. No shit.
Even CBS photo chopped a gun out of a shooters hand.
Shows how far fake news will go.

  2. Once you start lying, you have nowhere to go.
Why would any “consumer of news” trust serial liars and permanently slanted views?
Interesting discussion,as the host says genuine speakers and honesty shine through, dishonesty stands out too.

Now the Trump Show is in hiatus, the media is tanking..
As the Captain says “Enjoy their decline”.

  3. I am unpersuaded. I agree entirely with Jordan’s message here. But, what is being underestimated is the power of government to suppress thought and expression. The government is in the process of taking control of the legacy media in Canada via direct subsidy. It is in the process of suppressing all other media which attempt to compete such as the arrest of Rebel News staff this week. It is in the process of suppression of basic powers of Parliament to govern, given its huge spending over the past couple of years in the absence of any budget reviewed and approved by Parliament. In the name of the current supposed national emergency we have suppression of the rights of citizens to assemble. We have suppression of the rights of citizens to practice their religions.

The only thing missing in my opinion are soldiers in the streets. This was the kind of thing in the old Soviet Union. It was brought down by remorseless pressure from the United States. But now, the only opposition to our government is an even worse tyranny found in communist China. And as we’ve seen in our government’s willingness to enter into military cooperation with said-communist China, our government is selling out to them.

Elections don’t matter; the Democrats in the US showed how elections are fixed with the desired results to be proclaimed by above-noted bought and paid for legacy media.

    1. Elections don’t matter;

And now General Flynn is suggesting that the public announcement of the location of the Maricopa County audit will bring about disruptions from Antifa/BLM groups that figure that they’re fireproof/arrest-proof and who don’t want an honest audit to occur. Should the National Guard be called out to ensure that the audit can take place?

    2. cgh, soldiers in the street, coming soon. Ontario has authorized the random stopping of anyone going anywhere. There won’t be enough cops so the military will have to be brought in to SAVE US ALL.

      1. Yup. As the Sgt Major used to say, “Wait for it!”

Of course they’re going to have to purge the ranks of any icky types first, jerk the leash and get the army in line real good. Hence all the character assassinations of late. The messes have been closed all year by the way. Wouldn’t want the troops talking amongst themselves or anything.

      2. Not entirely, vowg. There’s now an apparently growing list of Ontario police services which won’t observe the random stop orders, six at last count. This is how governments fail: when the military and police (the folks who are supposed to be the only ones with guns) refuse to obey the government’s orders. This, for example was the only reason that the storming of the Bastille could happen at all. The military can’t do the job of the police because it’s now being purged of anyone who doesn’t have the disease of political correctness.

  4. Cgh.
    Maybe.
But I agree with Jordan,it is amazing how fluidly people from all walks of life and points of view flow around the censors.
The more heavy-handed the Tech Lords become and the more reactive the central scrutinizers become, the faster it crumbles.
The Chiefio has been putting up means of breaking the communication monopoly that Facebook and Google are perceived to hold.
The idiocy shines through, here in Canada we have Government insisting we accept their “solution” to covid on faith,as they use state force to close churches..
    One faith Good,Other faith Bad?
And governing this landmass is impossible if the consent of the population is lost,we have been on the edge of urban rural conflict for decades,I am sure the Children’s Cabinet can cause open warfare.

    1. John, I agree with your points here, all of them. The issue for me is that none of this will be resolved peacefully. Governing the landmass may be impossible, but not if there is no opposition, or that opposition is sufficiently suppressed. I agree with you about urban-rural conflict. But there’s no sign the tide is turning in any beneficial direction. Urban voters continue to force unacceptable choices on rural ones; see the provincial Liberals’ wind power policies in Ontario for an example.

The Children’s Cabinet can indeed cause open warfare. It can cause outright separation as it does its best to drive Alberta-Saskatchewan into open separation. But my suspicion is that Canada will only escape from this totalitarian trap after its equivalent of July 14, 1789.

      1. Cgh.
Yes ,there is no avoiding violence.
That violence is being committed against taxpayers every day now.
And a violent uprising will happen, because there is no “negotiation” possible with a parasite.
No parasite has ever voluntarily stopped bleeding its host.
And our current, multi generational pack of professional parasites will never leave off their freeloading, for they have no means of earning an honest income.
Well that and they feel entitled to their entitlements.
We owe it to them..just like those “pensions” we must reward their incompetence and destruction with.
So oh yeah, sooner or later it is going to blow.
        The guillotine,because its our heritage.

  5. Peterson is brilliant. I do enjoy him. You can tell he loves exploring ideas and in interviews he is unscripted– just going where his thoughts lead him. In this case this absolutely correct. Legacy media is dead. Why would you want your understanding of the world filtered through someone else’s lens? Government may try to censor, but sources of information are too varied and too far reaching. Their efforts at censorship will not succeed.

  6. MSM cartel is done.
It is replaced by youtube/amazon/fakebook/Twitler cartel.
Yay I feel so much better now.

    1. No kidding. Ronald Reagan got two terms DESPITE a full court press by the legacy media. The high-tech-censored-news cartel denied PDJT a second term. Despite the highest Republican vote total ever. Yeah … the replacement “media” is far more frightening.

Mention the Vote Steal … and you’ll be disappeared. Anyone not frightened by that is brain dead.

  7. Ok, then.
Jordan’s continual swiping of his index finger under his nose is telling enough.
White pill in this chat is tantamount to being white shill.
And shilling the next badly edited book, to boot.
I want to like Jordan, as I have done in the past, but this conversation raises some flags.
Can you spell post drug opportunist?
And don’t get me going on the daughter.
Hey, do YOUR rooms need to be cleaned?
    The fook out a here…..

    1. All complaints about the image, nothing about the substance. You’re looking a lot like a liberal right about now, so I’ll ignore you.

    2. Stevie~”I want to like Jordan, as I have done in the past”

      https://www.dictionary.com/e/slang/concern-troll/

Why don’t you understand what Dr. Peterson meant when he told people to clean up their room?
You couldn’t have really liked Jordan Peterson in the past if you didn’t understand what he meant?

Stevie~”And shilling the next badly edited book, to boot.”

So you’ve read it already or perhaps you’re the editor? No?
Why shouldn’t he talk about and sell his new book? Are you against Free Enterprise?

  8. L – The Canadian newspapers thought the Trudeau gov’t. was throwing them a life preserver. It
turns out that life preserver weighs enough to drag them down to Davy Jone’s locker.

Being bought and paid for by the Trudeau gov’t. has made them idea slaves to his regime.
The promised censorship of hurtful ideas turns the legacy media into zombies.

The Social Media Oligarchs are bleeding content creators and those who follow them.
Their virtual monopoly is going to explode into a galaxy of competition, too. It’s already
started. No content creator can trust them; without trust the contract is mist in the wind.
5G will only accelerate this. Legacy media is going to need a museum next to the T-Rex.

    1. L – Ad Hominem arguments is a troll sign. Prof. Peterson’s acumen, is the billy goat gruff, knocking both such arguments and those who use them off the bridge.

      Hopefully, you can swim.

  9. In Lindsay Shepherd’s book “Diversity and Exclusion”, which I am well into, she used Peterson’s interview on Steve Paikin’s TVO show to start a discussion on gender issue in speech. The professors and admin at Laurier University as we see across Canada hate Peterson and attack him verbally as what he writes and says is pure common sense and we can’t have that. Can’t believe the crap that these universities pump into their students.

    1. …and the university staffers said that playing the video of Dr. Peterson could be likened to something as bad as playing a video of Milo Yianoppolous or Hitler. Mark Steyn once wrote, “If anyone can be Hitler than no one can be Hitler”, in response to one of the myriad of Hitler labels declared by some low testosterone sissy boy.

      1. Wait, so the university staffers thought that Hitler liked to gobble big black … nope, I shouldn’t go there.

The worst ideas don’t need to be silenced, they need to be highlighted and ridiculed.
