  1. After the shooting in Brooklyn Center on Sunday night,
they declared a 7PM Curfew on Monday for the four Metropolitan Minneapolis St. Paul counties.

They also put MN National Guard in Brooklyn Center.

    they protected the police station.

the local businesses? not so much. they did finally start clearing the looters after they looted.

        1. NR, Air Canada has always been and will continue to be a government owned airline. Calling something by different names doesn’t change the reality.

          1. Actually, Air Canada became fully privatized in 1989. IMO if they really want to help out the airlines the government must relax restrictions and come up with an overall plan to reopen all businesses safely and restart the economy – something that the CPC proposed awhile back and the Liberals, NDP, Bloc & Greens voted to keep the lockdowns going indefinitely.

          2. I had my first flight with Air Canada in the early 1970s. I wasn’t impressed. Now that it’s a publicly-traded company, it hasn’t improved.

    1. As an aside, you posted about the TV movie Witness to the Mob a few weeks ago.

I finally got around to watching it earlier tonight. If one has seen the movie Goodfellas, one has a pretty good idea of what WTTM is like. Like you mentioned, it was as if it was a dress rehearsal for The Sopranos.

      Messy beercups.

      1. Right, forgot about that. Not too many Mob movies around anymore, guess nobody’s ‘talking.’ Gravano had quite a life. In his very real autobiography, the ‘rat’ left nothing out. Read it years ago. (According to IMDB, WttM had a 7/ 10 rating, not bad)

You mentioned the Sopranos, currently I’ve been occasionally indulging in a podcast called “Talking Sopranos” which features Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa who played Christopher and Bobby, respectively, in the Sopranos. They analyze everything about the show and interview, at length, the actors, writers, directors, costume designers etc — anyone who had anything to do with the show. This Podcast is not for everyone — only die hard fans.

Here’s a sample of an interview with Edie Falco, who played Carmela Soprano, hope you enjoy it:

        1. It is starting to look like joining the mob/mafia just might be our way to real freedom. Breaking the law, what law? seems to be the only option left to canadians when it comes to freedom.

          1. The Mob respects the Family unit, unlike the Libs. Should we could start a list? Ha!

          1. Okay!
If I may add, Michael Imperioli is a match for you in one way– he knows movies!

Btw–“Messy beercups!” Where have I heard that before? Was that from ‘that’ very funny zany movie you posted here? Do you remember the name of it? I think I saved that movie but I’m having a hard time finding it without the title. Or, was that from somewhere else? I tried 3 search engines and came up empty. “Messy beer cups”, 2 words, no go, either! Not important, B.– nevermind!

          2. If I may add, Michael Imperioli is a match for you in one way– he knows movies!

Ah….. ya learns something new every day. Thanks.

Blame my movie knowledge, such as it is, on Turner Classic Movies. Who says that cable TV is a complete waste?

            “Messy beercups!”

Actually, I first heard that expression from a fellow student during my freshman undergrad year. He was in the Air Cadets for several years and learned it from his association with the military.

I’m sure I used it on SDA at one time or another.

      1. If she gets in she will be labelled a populist by the media. That means she got the most votes by citizens who actually voted.

    1. Has anyone ever put in a 16 hour workday? I once did for a few days. One gets too tired to eat and too hungry to sleep. Or, ever try night shift? In winter? Very weird.

      None of this is easy.

I don’t believe this person, Paul, sorry.

      1. I don’t believe she worked an 44 extra hours per week either. Then she went on leave for several months. She probably can’t be fired…

    1. Canada is a big piece of dirt filled with competing socialist interests. The so called diversity has pretty much screwed the place.

      1. Our politicians are really turning Canada into the ‘Hunger Games’.
Using the cops to enforce these bullshit laws with heavy fines for noncompliance.
While everything is illegal as it is. Can do or change anything as it is illegal.
Cops should arrest our politicians, they have enough evidence of corruption but don’t.
We’ll get to point of mass cops quitting like the US.

  2. I have read a great many science articles from medical professionals from Dr’s to virologists, epidemiologists and a great many say that what is being done falls under the category of potential genocide. When people are clamoring to take a “vaccine” that is not really a vaccine, the ignorance is unbelievable.
None of those shots have ever been licensed for use on humans. In animal testing the animals died. There has been no long term testing and the potential for future damage is great. Everyone with a computer who is capable of searching and reading with understanding can see what I have seen.
Why are we ignoring the thousands of deaths around the world and in the US, as well as the now in the 100’s of thousands of serious adverse reactions that are occurring. Why is it now acceptable to kill people in the name of a virus?

    1. The media has done a terrible job of informing people about the nature of these vaccines and potential risks. There were four letters in Saturday’s Globe stating that frontline workers in care homes should be forced to vaccinate to protect the elderly. Of course no claims are even being made that these vaccines prevent transmission. People just assume that the vaccines work like traditional vaccines. Personally, I think the media is responsible for a mass deception which could have dire consequences.

      1. Yes, I agree. The media does a great deal of damage with their deceptive reporting.
And the reason they can be so dishonest is by their opinionated reporting.
This has made our nutbar politicians even crazier in their laws and policies.

    2. “a “vaccine” that is not really a vaccine”
“the Latin word vaccinae was formed from the adjective vaccinus meaning of or relating to cows”(used to develop the first vaccines)
There are over 200 products either developed or in the pipeline using 7 different modes of acting on the virus and they are called vaccines from our understanding of what a vaccine is and does.
The controversy arises from the use of mass vaccination where it isn’t warranted.

  3. Today starts the month long ramadan ding dong. Don’t miss Blackie’s statement on the wonderful contributions islam has made to his Canada. I’m starting my annual contest on how many Christians and Jews are killed during the ramadan bomb a thon.

  4. Well there goes the narrative. Blacklock reports on the release of a new study that shows Arctic sea ice has increased 27%.

      1. L – Different strain… you mean ‘Mutant Ice’.

“It could be on your car, house, sidewalk… causing broken hips, even potentially deaths !!!

Now that’s a scary headline the MSM can’t resist.

Talk of an anti-dote, sunshine will be repressed for a lack of double-blind, control groups and long term studies.

  5. Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau will once again address his loyal, drooling, masturbating media today. He will explain how wonderful he is and praise islam in Canada. He will then briefly attend his fake parliament.

  6. Remember Alfred E. Neuman of Mad Magazine and his catch phrase, “what, me worry”? Well, that’s how our Supreme Leader has always reacted to any significant threat to Canada. This is the latest threat he will not worry about:

“Canada’s spy agency says that it “observed espionage and foreign interference activity at levels not seen since the Cold War” last year and that many security threats have become “much more serious.” ”

  7. Breaking on the wires: Biden is proposing that he meet with Vladimir Putin, at a neutral country, for a summit. I wonder how that will go. Cringe-worthy.

  8. I am big on commenting about conservative leadership and organizations (or the lack thereof) in Canada. We need more of both. During the last few days, we see two events showing what passes as conservatism at its ugliest.

First, there were angry street demonstrations, of young people, upset at the clearly over-stringent 6:00 pm curfews in Montreal. Rebel News was there, and were raided by the Montreal police, but did Rebel News have much to do with the actual organizing of the demos. Not really, but they were there reporting the demos. The protestors were young and francophone, and tough. Here in quiet New Brunswick, nearly all of the province has very little of the China virus — except for little Edmunston, tucked closely to the Quebec border, which now is in full lockdown, and has nearly all of our China-virus cases — a town of only 20,00 people. I roll my eyes and shake my head at the French, and the street demonstrators, for they leave a bad impression to ordinary Canadians. This is one side of libertarian conservatism.

Second, the old Manning Centre (now called something live Canada Strong and Free) hosted a conference with Conservative Leader Erin O Toole make a few gestures towards small-c conservatives, saying something to the effect that there are differences between the Conservatives and the Liberals. One has to dust off ones magnifying glass and study real hard to discover any difference. This is the other sad extreme of todays conservatism: a decrepit old group like the old Manning Centre hosting Erin O Toole, promoting the fiction that this person in some way is conservative. See my post below on his opposing the private members bill opposing sex-selected abortions.

Two bad signs about our conservatism here. Flame me if you want.

    1. With all due respect David, if I may, the curfew was changed to 8 pm from 9:30 pm. These latest protesters in Montreal are Antifa. They’re part of the overall plan to reset the NWO Financial system because, as you know, Conservatism is a thing of the past. The pandemic actually ended a long time ago, aka –the seasonal flu, it comes and goes.

Glad to hear all’s well in N.B. Are people forced to wear masks there, indoors and outdoors? If so, it sounds like a successful experiment.

      P.S.
I’m wondering how you knew POTUS Trump was going ‘out’ and Biden/ Harris was going to come ‘in’? They’re changing America fast! Any comments?

  9. I was listening to talk radio today that had a liberal slant. The consensus was that Doug Ford was responsible for the shortage of vaccines. Anyone with half a brain knows the blame lies with the little Chinese puppet in Ottawa. Had he acted responsibly rather than listening to his masters we would not be facing the problems we are today

  10. Two days ago I posted a CTV news article happily stating that Erin O Toole would vote against his own MPs private members bill opposing sex-selected abortion. Here is a link to the Indo-Canadian Womens Association stance, opposing sex-selected abortion:
    https://icwaedmonton.org/preference-for-a-male-child/

The link shows the text clearly on my tablet, but doesnt show the text on my rickety PC, so I hope it is working. The text is about 8-9 years old, but it is eloquent. So Mr. O Toole, to show his fake solidarity to the Indo-Canadian and Chinese-Canadian leadership, turns his back on women like these. This whole issue cries out for leadership and organization, but of course there is none.

Btw, most Canadians oppose sex-directed abortion. But few seem to care.

  11. Once again Rex Murphy at the National Post trashes Big Chief Gay Eagle With No Balls.

  12. Former President Barack Obama and Mrs. Michelle Obama issued a statement on Tuesday about the fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright :
“Our hearts are heavy over yet another shooting of a Black man, Daunte Wright, at the hands of police. The fact that this could happen even as the city of Minneapolis is going through the trial of Derek Chauvin and reliving the heart-wrenching MURDER of George Floyd indicates not just how important it is to conduct a full and transparent investigation, but also just how badly we need to reimagine policing and public safety in this country.”

Guess the Obamas have made their decision on George Floyd trial.

    1. And the Obamas live in a home surrounded by a high fence with Secret Service agents on guard duty 7/24. They don’t give a dam about BLM burning and looting poverty-stricken communities.

    2. Does Obama not realize that he and Michele are responsible for the civil unrest in the U.S. For eight years they continually race baited the blacks to stir them up They should retire to their ill gotten gain and keep their mouths shut

    1. YouTube is very lucrative. Ezra mentioned 500k/year.
K.B. needs his share of the pie. He was broadcasting from the much talked about foot bridge that Nenxi sub-contracted to Spain. Good luck to the Calgarian. G’bye, K.B.

      1. Now Rebel’s YT channel has been demonetized, I’ve noticed that it has started advertising its brand name merchandise. It’s sort of the same thing that Bill Still does on his channel, and for the same reason.

    1. This seems to be one of the weaknesses in our supply chain and constantly locking down and harassing industries by our government.

  13. Baksheesh!
Somebody doesn’t understand the Librano Way.

OTTAWA — Fees paid by the federal government to third-party consultants have ballooned since the Liberals took office in 2015, with expenditures for engineering, legal and other services rising $6 billion in six years.

Costs for “professional and special services” increased to $16.4 billion in 2019-20, up from $9.5 billion when the Liberal government took office — the highest level of spending since at least the 1990s, according to public data. At the same time, the cost of paying government worker salaries has also increased sharply, from $36.8 billion before 2015 to $47.5 billion in 2020.

The federal public service has swelled by roughly 10,000 bureaucrats per year under Trudeau, to roughly 380,000 today.
