Margin Of Fraud

Isn’t there a word for the merger of corporate and government power?

On Wednesday, President Joe Biden again repeated his baseless smear that Georgia’s new election-integrity law is a modern version of “Jim Crow” and celebrated the fact that Coca-Cola, Delta, and Major League Baseball have condemned the legislation. He called these moves of woke capitalism “reassuring,” even while he admitted that MLB and others have left victims in their wake by pulling out of Georgia.

And I don’t think it’s “woke capitalism”.

  1. We know Joe is old. But just maybe he doesn’t remember. Jim Crow was a dem-o-rat law, passed and enforced by them.

  2. It’s not woke capitalism. It’s companies capitulatimg so the actual woke assholes leave them alone.

    1. the flaw with that thinking is that the woke assholes will leave them alone, now that they have a target willing to accept whatever woke bull$hit is next

  3. Marco Rubio asking MLB commissioner Manfred if he’d be willing to forgo his membership at the hyper elitist Augusta National was a particularly nice touch.
    As yet…no answer.

Anyways, Biden is set to announce a gun control EO which may or may not include confiscation.
    That’ll be fun.

    1. Similarly, Democrats should unilaterally relinquish their personal firearms to demonstrate their ‘wokeness’ respecting gun control.
      What are the odds?

      1. Oh, they don’t have personal firearms. Their security does, though. Therefor, they must immediately divest themselves of all bodyguards, security, etc. It’s only fair.

    2. Burton, I just read what his EO stated. I guess he chickened out. They prefer slow increments, you know, death of a thousand cuts, that way it’s more palatable to the victims, and they put up with it longer, without revolting. As said elsewhere, when they finally announce confiscation in the US, it will be “interesting”. Popcorn sales will be epic.

  4. Corporatism. How else are you going to get your green gadgets built if you don’t wield some major influence with manufacturers?
A free market would never produce those kinds of products.

  5. It is the same way the Nazis ran Germany, with the support of big businesses, such as Bayer, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. Here is a list of the companies that profited from the Holocaust, most of which are still in operation today. Interestingly, Coca-Cola is also on the list.

Communist China, of course, also operates in the same manner, with major companies such as Huawei, acting in complete concert with directives from the government.

    1. China, while being run by communists is an actual case of fascism.
      Same shit, different pile.
      There is no better example.
      Its by the book.

  6. Actually, it’s called fascism.
How ever Americans think it can’t happen to them, it’s happening at this very moment.
The social studies graduates have been and are now working on the sophisticated language, for the plebes to accept.

    1. Well, classic Fascism is different, from a Marxian point of view (and Fascism was a Marxian doctrine), in its class content. Fascism was conceived as rule in the interests of the unproductive classes – the unemployable, the career criminal, such non- capitalist aristocracy as may survive, the parasitic professions and especially the civil service. These groups share a common alienation from the productive classes and common interests among themselves; the thieves and the layabouts can fairly speak for the mass unemployed, and when you least expect it, the mass unemployed can become the numerically and culturally dominant class, and democracy demands rule in their interests.

That’s not quite what we’re seeing today. This regime is first and foremost capitalist, and indeed led by the most importantly productive elements of the capitalist class, but is sustained by alliance with the unproductive classes. But it is concerned with the interests of those classes only so far as is necessary to secure the alliance. The purpose is not to rule in the interests of the unproductive, but to remake society in the interests of the leading capitalists by destroying labour and small business, liquidating them as classes, leaving big capital with effective control of the means of production. In style it’s much more Stalinist than Fascist, and yet Stalin considered himself to be acting in the interests of the industrial working class, while the new regime targets them along with the kulaks.

      1. Socialism and Fascism are both variants of statism (supremacy of the state over the individual). The difference is in the ownership of the means of production. Fascism out-performs socialism economically by relying on quasi-market function instead of central planning but both serve the interests of the state (and those owners and managers in compliance with and in service to the state) rather than the masses. Fascism is not (Laissez-faire) Capitalism as there is no free market in goods, services, and ideas. China’s economy is now more classical fascism than communism and the western “democracies” are moving in that direction as well but from the opposite direction. When factoring in the extent of the public sector, the impurity and fuzziness of the definition becomes apparent. That’s why it’s easier and more useful to lump the isms together and use the broader distinction of statism versus liberty. And it’s easy to see which one in in ascendancy.

  7. Why is it an extension of Jim Crow laws to expect that black American citizens actually own valid identification (that they need to rent cars, one might add) in order to vote?

Don’t the Democrats think better of their black minions?

I don’t even know why anyone bothers. This past election proves that one can manufacture votes out of thin air.

  8. So, who is in control, if anyone? Are the oligarchs using the woke mob to maintain their installed regime or is the deep state using the woke mob to pressure the oligarchs into frustrating any backsliding to democracy?

    1. An excellent observation.
The cabal seem to be well hidden.
The executors are just puppets that have nice hear, speak in nonsense and other such qualities.

There is a cabal that is running things.
      Don’t doubt that.
Saying that its not happening is looking away, it does not matter anyway.
A soon as the ruling class in the US makes law against the constitution’s second amendment, watch out.
The ‘insurrection’ in January was an insignificant child’s play.

  9. Woke crony capitalism, so not individualism, free enterprise, democracy, liberty, freedom or anything desirable by society.

  10. I think its a given that politicians will never listen. That said the only way to quell the shift to communism is through commerce. If you cut off the revenue flow to any company they will start to listen. An example, if you watch sports when you see an add you contact the company and tell them that if you see their add again you will stop buying their product. You have to mean it and follow through. When a company sees their revenue in free-fall they will react.
For companies like amazon just stop using them.

  11. The notion that Blacks are somehow incapable of acquiring ID is grossly insulting. How about consider it an IQ test? Do we want someone voting who cannot figure out how to get an acceptable ID? Ensuring legitimate voters and only legitimate voters is the only way to protect democracy. Blacks care about democracy too.

  12. There is nothing new under the sun. Our two thousand year experiment in creating western liberal democracy was a grand one but it is coming to an end.
All you can hope for now is that your guys end up as the dictators.

  13. Biden’s worth 10 million thanks to taxpayers.
The only way he can get up to Obama-worth levels is to do and say Obama type things.
He could care less about what comes out of his pie hole, its what goes into his nest egg that counts.
(I don’t think he realizes his clock is almost done ticking.)

  14. Mussolini and Hitler were socialists. They knew that the people of their nations didn’t like socialism so they coined a new phrase for it.
The phrase that they coined for Socialism was Fascism. It was just the same Marxist shit, rebranded to sell to the masses.
Don’t let University professors or anyone else lie to you and tell you different. It isn’t.

    1. It never really ended. They just put away the flags and goose steps.

      See Dwight Eisenhower’s farewell address.
