    1. Bamn…Bamn..and one again, Bamn.
      I like this Dr Moudry…!!

And for those who did lose a loved one….Bring on the Lawsuits..!!

These Arrogant Bastards deserves to swing in my opinion…everyone of them from BC to Newfoundland… with that ChiCom POS and the PM in the lead.

      Crimes Against Humanity.

        1. Season of the Witch? If you remain married to the same woman for over 50 years like Donovan are you still a misogynist for a song you once performed? Probably yes in today’s world.

          1. Season of the Witch…
I love the version on the album “Super Session”
Classic late 60’s blues by some of the best.

    1. Donovan is my favorite Flower Child of the 60’s. He was so innocent (to the point of gullible), free spirited, and just exuded the LOVE of the era. He was beautiful, and soft spoken … with plans for changing our rat race culture. Shamefully, the changed culture we are now living in is … the deconstructed-LOVE era … where past, present, and future are summarily CANCELED by talentless halfwits with some bandwidth.

You wanna glimpse into the musical genius … the oft overlooked as “too bubblegum” and “hippie nonsensical” to be taken serious, music? Watch ALL of the above video. Donovan was a superb vocalist and a world class guitarist. If his music producers hadn’t overproduced and washed out his incredible raw-edged song: Local Boy Chops Wood (about RS’s Brian Jones death) … we might still be hearing it played today. And yes, it was issued on the flop lp, , along with Season of the Witch.

      1. He wrote the music for the movie Brother Son, Sister Moon. I watched it for the first time nearly 4 decades ago, when I was much younger and a lot less cynical.

I saw it again a few years back. I cringed. Both the movie and the soundtrack were syrupy and saccharine.

        1. Wow! That is an impressive list, Kenji. He likely had good people behind him. I liked the version from 1992 (above) with the back- up singer and that wonderful band, especially the electric violin. I agree, great song.

  1. Back in January, the Calgary Herald announced that a new Calgary based pharmaceutical company was in the process of manufacturing vaccines. According to the article, funding was provided by private sources.

    From the Calgary Herald.
    https://calgaryherald.com/business/local-business/made-in-canada-covid-vaccine-to-be-manufactured-in-calgary-clinical-trials-have-now-begun

Today, the Feds announced mega funding for a Toronto based facility that will manufacture vaccines and will be operated by Sanofi, a French company. In his announcement, innovation minister François-Philippe Champagne said: ”All countries should be ‘self sufficient’. Ya, right Phillippe. But the company is from France!! And what was wrong with Calgary??

      1. To quote my late father. ”Regina is the easiest place in the world to hate!!”

My father owned a filling station and a farm supply outlet. Over the 40 years he was in business, he always despised dealing with Regina sales agents. By the late 60’s however, most of our suppliers had moved to Calgary. That changed the climate drastically and for the best.

        1. There’s a reason why Regina earned its notorious nickname…..

          1. Which brings me to an old joke I heard at a folkie coffeehouse, on the U of Zero campus, back in December1970. A psychiatrist was testing a patient with the following word-association questions:

            Psy: “apple”
            Pat: “sex”

            Psy: “table”
            Pat: “sex”

            Psy: “concrete block”
            Pat: “sex”

            Psy: “vagina”
            Pat: “Regina, Saskatchewan”.

          2. I lived in Regina during my tricycle gang stage, and my favourite description is that Regina started as a pile of rotting buffalo carcases and went downhill from there…

    1. There have been 2 prime ministers who have not been a cabinet minister in a government that operated residential schools. These are Harper and Trudeau II. How is Macdonald more guilty than the rest. Mackenzie, a Liberal, passed the Indian Act.

    2. LIkely a very large percentage. “Vagina” is a hot bed of socialist NDP govt Paid flotsam.

  2. Far right BBC writes a biased article about the University of Winchester’s beautiful statue of Climate Expert Greta Thunberg.
    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-hampshire-56565683?aff_id=1262

Hopefully Mayor Charlie Clark will get rid of the statue downtown of old white guy Gordie Howe, and replaces it with a statue of Greta. Also, Charlie Clark was re-elected, but has still not put up anymore billboards in Saskatoon shaming old white males. Get to it, Charlie! Those billboards were great!

    1. I can’t get over the irony of a University admitting its irrelevance by honoring
      a high school dropout.

    1. What is so sad….
I am the only person in all my friends and relatives not to willingly get this vaccination.
And they get real nasty if you try.
Yesterday was the last person and all the Moderna vaccination.

      1. You are not alone JOJO….same with me.

One, a Nephew Pilot in the Middle East – posted back at me with: “vaccines are life”
I declined to reply….with family its better to let them find out for themselves…and for the most of them..under 55, its utter BLIND belief in Govt – MSM – and those that scream at you on social media should you go against the narrative. (a number of them live in the Lower MAOland of BC…kinda explains much IMO)

We truly live in a MAD MAD World. BIZZARRO.

We shall see in 6 – 12 months if predictions of mass Auto Immune Disorders and Cytokine storms come true…. I’m hoping not but betting (sadly), that it will.

        1. I suspect that this “vaccination” is cumulative and every shot will eventually bring this disorder your describing.

  3. Media is reporting that Justin Ford will be shutting down Ontario for four weeks. And the Trudeau cult should be happy that the carbon tax goes up in the province today. Welcome to spring in Canada. The land of the stupid.

    1. See? Hope and optimism that the plague farce might come to an end cause viral outbreaks.

The whole objective is to continue beating the proletariat into submission. The lockdowns will cease once it accepts that the current circumstances are the best that it can expect. It must and will be defeated and shall forever remain so.

The boots shall continue stamping on its collective face.

  4. And elsewhere in the world…

“What’s being described as an “extremely serious incident” and fast escalating spy case has resulted in the Italian government expelling two Russian diplomats from the country on Wednesday. Russian Ambassador Sergei Razov had been immediately summoned and informed of the drastic punitive action.

The case reportedly involves an Italian navy captain who was caught passing secret documents belonging to the NATO member state to a Russian military official on Tuesday night. The Italian navy officer is alleged to have received money in return.”

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/italy-expels-russian-diplomats-over-extremely-serious-nato-spy-case

It’s okay – Little Potato, a secret admirer of Russia’s basic dictatorship, is scandalized at Italy’s impoliteness and has let Putin know he can relocate the two expelled Russians here. Good thing Canada has no secrets left to steal; Putin is said to be “considering it, unfavourably at this time”.

      1. Jeffrey Paul Delisle, a junior Navy officer, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for selling secret information to the Russians, but was out of jail in less than six years.

The investigation revealed serious incompetence within government in not acting earlier to stop Delisle.

  5. Journalism in America. CNN was busy this morning trying to tie Trump’s real estate dealings, with the death of George Floyd.

  6. I sure hope NASA is keeping a close eye on their invoices from SpaceX…

    https://driving.ca/tesla/model-3/auto-news/news/tesla-reportedly-double-charged-some-of-its-buyers-for-their-new-cars

“It’s an honest mistake when the cashier accidentally double-scans an item during your routine grocery run; you might not even notice.

However, if you just bought a 2021 Tesla Model 3, even if it’s the base version that costs US$37,000, you would most likely realize you’ve been double-charged.”

    1. I remember an April Fool’s Day headline in the Globe and Mail (during the 1970’s) reporting from “ComeinIwanttolayya” Hawaii.

  7. Apparently our past PM is still hard at work. He has plans to turn NFL into a nuclear waste disposal site for the world. I wonder if Newfoundlanders will get a vote?

    1. I wonder if Newfoundlanders will get a vote?

Why should they? The ballots in favour of the proposal have already been printed and are awaiting distribution to the polling stations.

It wouldn’t be environmentally-friendly to waste all that paper, now would it?

  8. Great Leader Adolf The Magnificent was in private meetings yesterday. But as his media cult pointed out, he was actually at fund raisers.

  9. Canberra Over Stalingrad – Penetrating Russia’s Area 51

In August 1953, a British Canberra aircraft, carefully modified, took off on a secret mission sanctioned by Winston Churchill from a US base in West Germany to fly to the Soviet Union’s Area 51, Kasputin [sic] Yar near Stalingrad. Officially denied today, find out about this most secret joint UK-US spy mission.

  10. *
    the plutonium will balance itself…

“In a letter Chrétien wrote in summer 2019 to an
executive at a major Japanese public relations agency,
Hisafumi Koga, he argues in favour of storing other
    countries’ nuclear waste
    in Canada.”

    1. “The honorary degree is a way of honouring a pompous ass. No honest man would accept a degree he had not worked for. Honorary degrees are suitable only for realtors, chiropractors, and presidents of the United States.”

      H. L. Mencken

      1. Here’s another related Menckenism:

“It is the classic fallacy of our time that a moron run through a university and decorated with a Ph. D. will thereby cease to be a moron.”

      2. And another, one appropriate for our current times:

“It is the invariable habit of bureaucracies, at all times and everywhere, to assume…that every citizen is a criminal. Their one apparent purpose, pursued with a relentless and furious diligence, is to convert the assumption into a fact. They hunt endlessly for proofs, and, when proofs are lacking, for mere suspicions.”

He wasn’t thinking ahead to an era of “obedience masks”, was he?

      3. Wow, BADR. I’m a big Mencken fan but hadn’t encountered this quote. Had I encountered it absent the author’s name the justapositioning of ‘chiropractors’ and ‘presidents of the United States’ I probably would have guessed it was the great and wicked iconoclast.

  11. OoooooooooK….. If there isn’t an election in the offing, why did I receive notice in the post from Elections Canada about updating my voter registration?

  12. Anti-lockdown protest in Whitecourt, Alberta:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZqcJ-FSlN4

Whitecourt….. my old stomping grounds. I moved there to start work in one of the gas plants in the area soon after I got my B. Sc. The rally was held just a few blocks down the street where I used to live.

  13. Ever hear of the United Front Work Department (UFWD) ? Likely not. It is a branch of the Chinese Communist Party that targets ethnic Chinese living outside of China to convince them to serve the interests of their motherland rather than the country that accepted them or their parents as immigrants. The UFWD has just achieved another success with a 19-year-old athlete born in B.C.
How many other ethnic Chinese in Canada have been targetted by the UFWD?

    https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/rising-canadian-athlete-switches-citizenship-hoping-to-compete-for-china-in-tokyo-olympics

    1. Theresa Tam? Ordinarily, I don’t target people based on ethnicity, but her policies have been so detrimental to Canada, you have to wonder.

  14. And now your Canadians are racist bastards story for today. The York Region school board in Ontario is withdrawing police from the schools, because they scare the black kids or something.

  15. True North reports on what they will be discussing at their policy convention. Abolishing the military, removing all statues of Sir John A. Macdonald from public spaces, abolishing the monarchy, withdrawing from NATO. And the media reports that they are still debating how much to hate the Jews.

    1. David is unfailingly polite! Bravo.
Let’s hope the judges are on the same page with regards to dismissals or at least a stay in the covid dispute cases.

Here is one victory already, as posted by Sheila first seen in e-mail News:
Case dismissed except for Rabbi resisting threat of arrest re: producing I.D. Remember this case?

      P.S. Glad to see:
Protest in Whitecourt Ab as posted above. These sheep Premiers have forgotten their responsibilities.

  16. Movie alert: TCM is running its annual Oscar observance this month with its usual lineup of films that were either nominated or actually won.

There are too many to mention them all here, but I noticed that on the list are at least two films directed by George Stevens, Gunga Din and Giant. Also, a number of great SF flicks are included, such as Destination Moon, Forbidden Planet, Them! (watch for Leonard Nimoy in that one!), 2001: A Space Odyssey, and 2010.

Take at look at this month’s schedule on TCM’s website. There’s bound to be something for everyone, including three John Wayne movies that I noticed, Red River, Stagecoach and She Wore A Yellow Ribbon.

    1. Good. I see their website has greatly improved. Still haven’t finished the much appreciated Peter Sellers movies. Will try to break away from the News– so much going on. It’ll be nice.

      1. I just finished watching TCM’s presentation of Almost Famous. That’s 2 hours of my life I won’t get back again, though I was doing something else while it was on.

I thought it was rubbish when it was shown on CBC some 15 years ago. I often give a movie I didn’t like the first time I see it a second chance and, in this case, my opinion of the hasn’t changed.

How on earth did that load of codswallop get any Oscar nominations?

        1. Never seen it. The music is plentiful and varied though. I’ll pass too, if it comes around again.

          1. You won’t miss much. I thought it boring and disjointed. I came close to switching it off a few times, particularly in the first hour.

Then again, maybe I’m not “hip” enough to appreciate it.

  17. Once again Doug Ford has screwed up following in Justin’s footsteps. The problem started last March when Justin refused to shut down the country and allowed millions of travelers in. In addition he relied on his masters the Chinese to dictate what he should do resulting in a severe shortage of vaccines for Canadians. Now let’s turn to Doug Ford, lockdowns don’t work they simply delay the process. The answer very simple increase the number of vaccines tenfold that is the only way to stop this. Lockdowns will simply destroy other small businesses.

    1. If…you believe in the efficacy of vaccines Wally. They’ve not been tested very long.
